Chapter 628 The Maze (Second Update)

"Found it!"

Just as two-thirds of the entire Black Lake was being separated by the Water Repellent spell, Jerry finally spotted Hermione.

It was a small village built by a mermaid tribe using stones beneath the Black Lake, and a huge mermaid statue stood in the central square of the village.

Three people are tied to the tail of the statue with ropes:

They are Jerry's darling Hermione; Fleur's darling, her sister Gabrielle; and Krum's darling, his dance partner at the Christmas ball, a seventh-grade girl from Slaterlin.

At this moment, all three of them were under Dumbledore's spell and were fast asleep, with bubbles occasionally rising from their mouths.

As for the merman warriors with harpoons who were originally guarding the three of them, they all fell to the ground because Jerry had diverted the water in the square to both sides.

Moreover, of those six minutes, only two minutes were spent by Jerry finding Hermione and traveling back and forth; the other four minutes were spent on the tower, untying Hermione, and helping her tidy her clothes.

So even the most reluctant Karkaroff had to give it a perfect score, otherwise he wouldn't be able to justify it.

Upon hearing Ludo's announcement, the young wizards in both towers erupted in thunderous cheers and applause.

Fifty minutes after the start of the match, Krum, sporting a shark-headed hairstyle, finally returned to the main tower with the seventh-year Slytherin girl, scoring forty-five points and placing second.

With one minute left in the competition, Furong appeared on the lake with her sister Gabrielle, and ultimately scored forty points, placing third.

After the competition, Ludo announced the date for the third event, which would be held on June 24th, just in time for Hogwarts' holiday.

During Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class, Jerry kept a small amount of attention focused on the lesson while trying his best to comprehend the laws of this world.

Now, he has fully grasped all the relatively easy-to-understand laws of the Harry Potter world and integrated them into his own ring world.

Now, if he wants to comprehend another law, it would be very difficult to do so in less than a few years.

So he has decided that after this holiday, he will travel to all the other small worlds and collect the basic laws of all of them.

Indeed, Jerry knew it was a maze, because the third event in the Goblet of Fire was a maze.
