Chapter 731 Hela's Uses (Second Update)

"Long time no see, Loki!"

Hela is imbued with death energy and is closely connected to Asgard. Killing her completely is not an easy task. It would require taking her into a dimensional world and severing the source of her power before any action can be taken.

Jerry had originally planned to do the same: directly open the Ring World and absorb Hela, then deal with Hela within the Ring World to fulfill his promise to Odin.

However, he later changed his mind and decided not to kill Hela for the time being, but to seal her away, because he needed to use Hela, the Goddess of Death with the power of a Heavenly Father, to allow the Celestial Embryo to fully take shape.
