Chapter 733 Cersei and the Water Sprite

Chapter 733 Cersei and the Water Sprite (Second Update)

"Ring ring ring ring"

The school bell rang, and after all the students left, Cersei packed her things and prepared to go home to find her friend, the water sprite, to explore the new city together.

As members of the Eternal race, she and the Water Spirit have endless lifespans, so to avoid the people living around them discovering their abnormality of not aging, they must move to a different place every now and then.

Just a month ago, she and her water sprite moved from Birmingham to London, where she became a school teacher, taking on the role of a history professor.

"Do you have time to talk, Miss Cersei?"

Just as Cersei stepped out of the classroom, a deep and magnetic voice suddenly rang in her ears.

"Who are you?"

Looking at the handsome man standing in the corridor, dressed in a custom-made suit, Cersei looked puzzled. She didn't recognize him.

"My name is Jerry Carmen. You can call me Jerry, or the Wizard."

Jerry smiled and then introduced me naturally.

But when Jerry uttered the word "wizard," Sersi suddenly froze, as if some kind of seal had been broken in her mind, and memories and related information about wizards flooded back instantly.

"Oh, yes, I know you. But what does the wizard want with me?"

The ten Eternals have lived on Earth for over seven thousand years. In addition to killing mutants and protecting humanity, they have also participated in many events, such as helping Odin fight the Frost Giants in Norway.

Therefore, they have naturally been paying attention to many of the ability users on Earth, as well as the Avengers and the most powerful wizard in the Avengers.

Sersi just couldn't understand why the Avengers' wizards would suddenly appear here and specifically seek her out.

Jerry looked at Serissa in front of him and, without much preamble, directly stated his purpose:

"Miss Sersi, I know you are an Eternal, and I also know that more than seven thousand years ago, you were sent to Earth by the Supreme Being Aristom of the Celestials to eliminate the Mutant Race, and the Guardian God has appeared."

But as a human born on Earth, I do not wish to see Earth and its people perish because of the appearance of a god. Therefore, I want to speak with you, or rather, with your supreme celestial beings.

"Mr. Wizard, I don't know what you're talking about. I am indeed an Eternal, but what is this divine manifestation you're referring to? We came to Earth only to kill the mutants and protect the normal development of human civilization."

Hearing the wizard's words, Cersei was dumbfounded. She felt that the wizard must have misunderstood something.

Jerry deliberately frowned and asked in a serious tone:

"You don't know about the Celestials? I've traveled the universe these past few years and learned a lot about their deeds. Every so often, Arithm plants a Celestial seed on a selected planet."

Then, Jerry told Cersei all the information about the Celestials' "Divine Manifestation".

Upon hearing this, Cecilia's expression changed, revealing disbelief. Having lived on Earth for over seven thousand years, she had long been filled with affection for this planet and the people on it.

Now someone is telling her that they came not to protect the planet and the humans on it, but to sacrifice them all to the Celestials. How can she accept this?

"Mr. Wizard, I don't know where you heard these lies, but I can tell you for sure that they are not true."

"I also hope that it's not true, but in fact, many planets have disappeared because of divine intervention. I have no reason to lie to you; there's no benefit for me in lying to you. I just want to protect the Earth."

Jerry replied sincerely.

For the Eternals, the Celestials are their gods. If you want them to oppose their gods, you must make them waver in their belief in their gods.

Sure enough, after hearing Jerry's words, Sersi also hesitated.

She knew very well what the wizard had done, and there was indeed no reason for him to lie to her. Moreover, if what the wizard said was true, many of the doubts over the years could be explained.

For example, the leader Ajak gave them some strange orders, such as why Supreme Aristom delayed their return to their home planet even though they had completely annihilated the mutant race a long time ago.

"I can take you to Ajax. If it's really as you say, I'm willing to stand on the side of humanity!"

After pondering for a long time, Cersei made her decision.

Seeing this, Jerry knew that things were basically done and nodded in satisfaction.

"I think that perhaps your companions, like you, don't know anything about divine manifestation. It might be better to bring them along."

As Sersi walked out of the school, Jerry suggested.

Sersi possesses the ability to manipulate matter, but to turn the Celestials into stone like in the movies, she would need to gather the power of the other Eternals together.

It's clearly not fair to blame Cersei alone for killing the Elves. Only by involving all the Elves can the likelihood of Aristom coming after him be greatly reduced.

In the movie, after the water sprite transformed into a human, Arithm did not capture her again.

"But they are all located in different countries and cities around the world, and it may take several days to find them all."

Cersei didn't reject Jerry's suggestion. She felt that if everything was really as Jerry said, then her companions who didn't know the truth should also have the right to know all of this, just like her.

Although she knew everyone's approximate location, they were really scattered. If she wanted to bring all her friends to find Ajax, she would probably have to circle the Earth first.

"I can help with that."

Following the address of the new home that Sercy had just given him, Jerry teleported her there instantly.

The Eternals created by the Celestials each possess unique abilities, somewhat similar to the Inhumans created by the Kree, except that the Eternals have no lifespan limitations and do not experience birth, aging, sickness, or death.

Moreover, it uses a more powerful cosmic energy that originates from the same source as the Celestials.

However, not all Eternals possess combat abilities; many Eternals' abilities are more suited to support, like the Eternal Water Sprite in front of us who looks like a twelve or thirteen-year-old girl.

Her ability is to create illusions; her body is slightly stronger than that of a normal human, but only to a limited extent.

"Hello, water sprite!"

Jerry greeted the water sprite who was sitting on the sofa watching a tragic romance film, and the water sprite's eyes lit up when she saw Jerry and Sersi suddenly appear in front of her.

"Cersei, you have a new boyfriend?"

"What do you mean 'again'? Since that bastard Icarus suddenly disappeared a hundred years ago, when have I ever had a new boyfriend?"

Cersei replied irritably.
