Chapter 739 The Prince Replaced by a Civet Cat

Chapter 739 The Prince Replaced by a Civet Cat (Second Update)

"Ajax, make a choice: help the Earth and humanity, or side with the gods and destroy this world!"

Jerry stared into Ajax's eyes and asked.

Actually, Ajak's answer is not important. Of course, it would be best if she chose to help the Earth and humanity, but then the entire Eternal race, except for Icarus, would have betrayed them.

If she still chooses the Celestials, Jerry can simply imprison her and Icarus, and release them after collecting the Celestial embryos; it won't make a difference.

With eight Eternals involved, it was enough to attract Arisham's attention.

However, Jerry felt that Ajax was more likely to choose Earth and humanity.

According to the movie, she had already leaned towards Earth and humanity 1500 years ago, and later, after Thanos snapped his fingers to delay the appearance of God, she became even more determined to stop God from appearing.

"Perhaps Aristam's decision wasn't entirely correct; at least the Earth shouldn't have been destroyed. But with our abilities, how can we stop God from manifesting?"

After struggling for a while, Ajak finally followed her heart, but she was also somewhat confused.

"Can't we put him to sleep? Use the druid's mind control ability!"

Cersei stepped forward and offered her advice.

She had discussed this issue with everyone before, and they felt that they could use the Druid's mind control ability to put the gods into a deep sleep, thus preventing the gods from appearing.

Ajax shook his head:

"No, even though the Earth's god is still in its embryonic stage, his spirit is beyond the control of a druid."

As an Eternal being whose memories have not been erased and who has appeared as a guardian deity multiple times, she has a very clear understanding of the power of the gods, which is far beyond the capabilities of the Eternal race.

"I can create a connection device that transmits all our cosmic energy to the druid, thus amplifying his mind control abilities many times over."

"Faustos suggested."

But Ajax continued to shake his head after hearing this:

"Even if the druids' abilities can temporarily put the gods to sleep, we can't keep supplying them with energy indefinitely. Once our energy is depleted, the gods will still awaken and complete their divine manifestation."

"I think you shouldn't transfer the energy to the druids, but to Cersei instead."

Seeing that everyone was still struggling to come up with a solution, Jerry spoke up again.

Cersei pointed to herself in surprise:

"Me? But my ability can only change inanimate matter, not living matter."

"No, that's just because you haven't developed your abilities to their limit. If you could absorb the cosmic energy of other people, I believe you could directly turn the body of a god into stone."

Jerry pointed at the black horse next to Ajax and used a transformation spell to turn it into a stone horse.

"Trust me, I'm a professional in this area, and I'll help you out!"

"I think we can give it a try. If it doesn't work, we can think of other ways. Anyway, there are still a few months before the divine manifestation."

Jinge raised his hand in agreement.

Cersei gritted her teeth and nodded:

"Then I'll do my best!"

Seeing Sercy nod, Jerry smiled, knowing that things were basically settled.

Sersi could definitely petrify the Celestials, not because she did it in the movie, but because Jerry would switch the Celestials with someone else, so even without the support of other Eternal cosmic energies, Sersi could still accomplish it.

The reason it had to be Cersei was so that when Aristem actually captured these Eternals, he wouldn't have any doubts if he knew from their memories that it was Cersei who petrified the gods.

Sersi's abilities are capable of doing these things if there is enough cosmic energy to support them.

"Ajax, do you know where the Earth's God Seeds are hidden?"

At this moment, the druid spoke up and asked.

Ajax nodded:

"I know, but before we take action, we need to go back to the house and talk to Icarus. He might not be able to accept our plan."

"Icarus is with you?"

Cersei stared at Ajax in shock.

Icarus suddenly disappeared from her side a hundred years ago, and unexpectedly ended up living with Ajax.

Ajax quickly waved his hand:

"Cersei, it's not what you think. Icarus left you because he knew the truth about the divine manifestation. He told you because he was afraid you would stop the divine manifestation, but he didn't want to lie to you, so he hid here with me."

He is very loyal to the gods, so it would be difficult to persuade him.

"Leave it to me!"

Cersei turned and walked toward the elegant two-story building in the distance. The others looked at each other and followed closely behind.

Only Ajax grabbed Jerry's arm, pointed at the black horse that Jerry had turned to stone, and said with a hint of resentment:

"Mr. Jerry, can my Nicole ever come back to life? She's my favorite horse!"

"Oh, sorry, of course."

Jerry paused for a moment, then waved his hand, and the black horse instantly returned to its original state.

Ajax happily mounted his horse and extended his hand to Jerry, inviting him to join him.

"Want a ride?"

"Thanks!"

Jerry did not refuse, mounted his horse, and was led by Ajax to chase after the group.

"What?! You want to stop the gods from appearing? You want to kill the gods!"

In the living room of Ajax's house, Icarus's expression changed drastically after learning from Cersei about their plan to kill the gods and that Ajax, whom he followed, had actually agreed to the plan.

Ignoring Cersei's advice, he flew directly up, broke through the house, and arrived in the sky. His eyes glowed as he launched a laser attack on Faustos below.

"I cannot allow you to betray the gods, so I apologize, my friends!"

Phantos can create devices that connect all the universe's energy, so if he is killed, no one else can stop the divine manifestation, no matter how hard they want to.

Icarus acted so swiftly that none of the Eternals were prepared.

They knew Icarus might not agree to their plan, but they didn't expect his reaction to be so strong and so ruthless, that he would actually kill his former comrade-in-arms.

Fortunately, Jerry, who had been standing by, was prepared and cast an Iron Armor spell on everyone as Icarus took flight.

Icarus's laser eye struck Jerry's magical shield, but it didn't even cause a ripple.

"Since you disagree, let's take a break!"

Icarus was surprised that his attack had been blocked when he suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice behind him, and then he fainted.

It turned out that Jerry had Apparated behind him and cast a stun spell on him.

Although Icarus is the most powerful warrior among the Eternals, in Jerry's eyes now, he is nothing more than a little Karami who can be dealt with at will.
