Chapter 1 The Fifty-Nine Years of Konoha

"Lord Orochimaru!"

"Lord Orochimaru!"

Two urgent and anxious shouts finally woke Orochimaru from his deep sleep in the chair.

Upon seeing the person before him, Orochimaru habitually asked, "Kabuto, is the report ready?"

wrong!

In the dimly lit underground, with only electric lights providing a limited source of light, Orochimaru was somewhat lost in thought upon seeing the surroundings.

Is this his "former research lab"? How long has it been since I've seen this environment?

"Lord Orochimaru, you just said 'report.' Was it a report for the leader?"

Kabuto's pupils contracted, and he instinctively adjusted his reflective glasses to hide the disbelief and shock in his eyes. He quickly said to Orochimaru, "Lord Orochimaru, did you also have a strange dream just now?"

"Dream"

Orochimaru stood up and looked around. After a short while, he remembered what time it was. He should have just finished showing Kabuto the horns of the Eight-Tails he had nurtured.

But what was that dream all about? Why was it so realistic? Was it a dream, or was it the future?

Kabuto asked, "Lord Orochimaru, were we having the same dream?"

"Kabuto, how are you so sure it was a dream and not an illusion?"

Orochimaru asked in a hoarse voice, "In my base, how could someone use genjutsu to impress both of them without them even noticing, and leave them completely unaware afterward? Could it be the Sage of Six Paths?"

After closing his eyes and recalling for a moment, he turned to Kabuto with a smile and said, "Tell me about your dream first, Kabuto."

This is amazing. He hasn't encountered anything so amazing in a long time. What kind of person could affect both him and Kabuto Yakushi at the same time?

Yu no Kuni, Ensaku-dori

The woman on the tatami suddenly woke up, and her first reaction after sitting up was to look around.

However, upon seeing her surroundings, Tsunade looked bewildered; why was she here?

"What exactly happened?"

As one of the top medical ninjas in the ninja world, Tsunade was confident that no one could have cast a genjutsu on her without her noticing. So what was that dream she just had?

"Shizune? Shizune!"

Tsunade called out twice, and the sound was quickly heard by Shizune next door. She then knocked on the door and came in, carrying Ton-Ton.

Shizune, who had just entered, noticed the strange expression on Tsunade's face and asked, "Lady Tsunade, what's wrong?"

"What just happened? Mute."

"What happened? It seems like nothing happened."

Shizune looked puzzled and said, "Lady Tsunade, weren't you tired and planning to rest for a while? You needed to be well-rested to prepare for making a fortune tonight."

As for how to earn it? Besides gambling, Lady Tsunade has no other hobbies, and in Shizune's opinion, the money she borrowed this time will probably be lost again.

"No, I'm not going. Let me have some peace and quiet."

"Eh?"

Shizune was taken aback. She wondered if she had misheard. Lady Tsunade wasn't going to gamble? So Shizune asked uncertainly, "Lady Tsunade, you just said you're not going to gamble tonight?"

"Okay, I'm not going."

Tsunade looked puzzled, unconsciously biting her fingers. What she wanted to figure out most was what had happened in her dream, why she had such a long dream, and why it seemed to be about the future of the ninja world.

The Akatsuki organization, Pain, Obito Uchiha impersonating Madara Uchiha, and the real Madara Uchiha.

Are things in dreams real?

Obito Uchiha. He seems to be a ninja who died on the battlefield. He was Kakashi's classmate. I think Kakashi's Sharingan was given to him by Obito Uchiha.

Tsunade's mind was a little confused. Her dream just now seemed to be about things that would happen in the future?

"Right, we need to find that brat!"

After sitting on the tatami for a while, Tsunade suddenly realized something and slammed her hand on the floor. How could she have forgotten the most important thing?

If that dream was real, then that brat Shirakumo Yosuke should be able to find it too. She can still clearly remember some things from the dream; the brat said he seemed to be in a mountain village in the Land of Fire.

"Shizune! Shizune!"

Tsunade walked briskly into Shizune's room, then quickly asked, "What time is it?"

Shizune was taken aback, but immediately replied, "Huh? It's past four o'clock now, almost time for dinner, Lady Tsunade."

"No, it's the date. What's the year and month in Konoha now?"

"Date. January 23rd, Year 59. Lady Tsunade suddenly asked this."

Tsunade recalled for a moment, then breathed a slight sigh of relief and said, "January 23rd. He should still be here. Shizune, pack your things, let's leave immediately."

What a coincidence! She remembered that the kid had only learned chakra on January 22nd. If the things in the dream were true, then if she went there now, she should be able to find that kid, Shirakumo Yosuke, who had just learned chakra!

Shizune asked with a surprised look, "Lady Tsunade, where are we going?"

"I'll explain later. Let's pack our things and get going!"

Tsunade didn't have time to explain in detail, mainly because she couldn't explain it clearly. The dream she had just had was too real, so real that she was willing to believe that the dream was about the future, and that she was willing to set off immediately from the Land of Hot Water to return to the Land of Fire.

Konoha, Hokage Building

After finishing processing some mission assignment documents, Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed wearily. When he reached for his pipe, he realized that the cigarette he had just lit had gone out.

"well"

He really has gotten old!

After the Uchiha clan massacre, Konoha's military strength was greatly weakened. Fortunately, most of the major ninja villages focused on recuperation, and even the most troublesome Kumogakure signed a peace treaty with Konoha.

Otherwise, Hiruzen Sarutobi would have had a real hard time dealing with the war following the annihilation of the Uchiha clan.

After such a busy period, Hiruzen Sarutobi had to face his somewhat weary body. He was getting old; if only the Fourth Hokage were still alive.

Suddenly, an ANBU member knocked on the door and entered, then reported to Hiruzen Sarutobi: "Lord Hokage, Lord Danzo and two Root ninjas have left the village, and their whereabouts are currently unknown."

Hiruzen Sarutobi was taken aback: "Root ninjas? Weren't all the Root ninjas merged into the Anbu? Why are there still Root ninjas outside?"

"Based on observation, it should be Yamanaka Fu and Aburame Ryoma. These two are Danzo's guards and have not been incorporated into the Anbu."

Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned slightly, remained silent for a moment, and then asked, "Do you know where Danzo went?"

The ANBU member said, "His objective is unclear; Lord Danzo acted suddenly."

Upon hearing this, Hiruzen Sarutobi was at a loss for what to do. He had always been very lenient with his old friend. Even when Danzo had allowed Itachi Uchiha to wipe out the Uchiha clan without authorization, he only abolished Root afterward and did not confine Danzo.

However, it was precisely because he understood Danzo that Hiruzen Sarutobi was a little uneasy. This guy had just committed the massacre of the Uchiha clan, so what was he planning to do now that he had left the village?

Konoha can no longer withstand turmoil!

After pondering for a moment, Hiruzen Sarutobi resolutely told the Anbu, "Have Kakashi take two squads and follow Danzo. See what he's up to. If there are any signs that threaten Konoha's safety, have Kakashi stop Danzo!"

"Yes, Lord Third Generation!"

It's been completely rewritten. The natives are gone; now it's a time traveler setting!
