Chapter 59 Tsunade: Shogun!

"You're finally back, General!"

As soon as Shiraku Yosuke returned home, he sensed an enraged female dragon standing before him. However, his omniscient ability to gather information told him that Tsunade wasn't very angry and that she had a solution.

So Bai Yunyangjie stood on tiptoe, placed his hands on Tsunade's shoulders, looked directly into her beautiful eyes, and asked, "Tsunade-sensei, what would you like to eat tonight?"

"Huh? W-anything is fine."

"Then let's have grilled fish, it's quicker. I'll go cook the rice first, otherwise we won't be able to eat until very late."

"Oh"

After Shirokumo Yosuke walked past her, Tsunade suddenly came to her senses. She had clearly wanted to ask what the "General" was all about, but she had forgotten because of a single question.

Tsunade then followed barefoot to the kitchen. The sound of her feet pattering on the floor revealed her bad mood, but seeing Shiraku Yosuke busy preparing dinner, she swallowed back the words she was about to say.

"I'll question this brat properly after dinner!"

The fish didn't take long to grill; a large fish was quickly cooked and its aroma filled the air. Tsunade smelled the enticing fragrance and momentarily forgot what she wanted to ask.

Once the food was served, Shizune and Shizune started eating with lightning speed. If it weren't for the fact that Shiraku Yosuke always cooked a lot of food, the three of them really wouldn't have been able to finish it all.

Even Shizune eats a lot, since she has surgeries to perform every day, which sometimes consumes a lot of chakra.

After finishing her meal, Tsunade patted her satisfied belly, then wiped her mouth and habitually pointed, saying, "Next time, you could put less chili. Too much chili makes it impossible to drink alcohol. Ugh, this meal always feels a bit small."

However, she had just finished speaking when she remembered her purpose: she wanted to ask about the daimyo and the general!

"Shizune, please tidy up. Yosuke, come with me!"

Tsunade, still sulking, grabbed Shirakumo Yosuke and led him to the corridor in the back courtyard. Arms crossed, she demanded with a menacing expression, "Give me a proper explanation! How did my disciple suddenly become a shogun?!"

"That's only natural, Tsunade-sensei. Yesterday, someone dreamed about the future again, and the daimyo of the Land of Fire was one of them."

Shirokumo Yosuke told Tsunade about what happened today, but he concealed the fact that he had given the title of Daimyo of the Land of Fire and the matter of Kazuma.

As for the capture of Orochimaru and other matters, there was nothing to hide, nor was there anything to hide; Hiruzen Sarutobi would definitely tell Tsunade.

"General, I seem to recall my grandmother mentioning that the daimyo at the time wanted to make me a princess, but my grandfather refused. However, if you become a general, it won't be easy for the Cloud Village to use that as an excuse to demand you."

Tsunade thought for a moment and muttered to herself, but then pulled Shirakumo Yosuke's head into her arms and gave him a sharp tap, saying, "But you said you wanted to capture Orochimaru. Do you even have the ability? Orochimaru is probably the most troublesome guy in the ninja world."

"Calm down, Tsunade-sensei."

Shiraku Yosuke struggled to pull his head out of his daze and then said, "I already have a plan, but you'll definitely get angry if I tell you, so don't ask."

Tsunade scoffed and said, "Heh, what do you think the Sannin's magnanimity is? Tell me, let me hear it."

"I will persuade Orochimaru to return, and he will definitely agree. However, it will only be a nominal reprieve; in reality, the Land of Fire needs his power."

He himself also needed Orochimaru's power; this was a thought that Hakuun Yosuke didn't say aloud, but Tsunade, with her intelligence, would soon guess it.

"You want to cooperate with Orochimaru?"

After Tsunade understood, she angrily raised her fist to hit Hakuun Yosuke on the head, saying, "You damned disciple, do you even know what Orochimaru did?"

"The magnanimity of the Sannin, Tsunade-sensei."

Shirakumo Yosuke grasped Tsunade's hand and quickly said, "I need enough trust. I will handle Orochimaru's matter well, and the families of the victims will receive substantial compensation, even if it's a bit late."

Tsunade, caught in Yosuke Shirakumo's intense gaze, abruptly stopped in her tracks. She mumbled something for a long time before finally asking...

"Why do you trust Orochimaru so much? Even before, when Orochimaru placed a cursed seal on you, you didn't have a bad impression of him, and you even thought about it back then."

Tsunade paused here, explaining that she had been listening in on the last time. The higher-ups had overheard Shirakumo Yosuke expressing his affection for Orochimaru, and afterwards, they forbade him from teaching ninjutsu.

"I can distinguish between good and evil. No one can hide from me who is kind to me or who is hostile. For example, Tsunade-sensei is the kindest person to me in Konoha."

Bai Yunyang casually offered a compliment, which immediately made the older, somewhat dim-witted woman's lips curl into a smile.

"Orochimaru has no ill intentions towards me. Like the Daimyo of the Land of Fire, he wants to get something from me. Simply put, he treats me like a 'god,' worshipping me when I was weak, and then demanding my wishes once I become strong."

Tsunade frowned upon hearing this, and couldn't help but tap the arrogant brat in front of her, saying, "Making a wish? That's a bit of an exaggeration. According to you, I also want something from you?"

"It's pointless for Tsunade-sensei to be so serious. I know you're being sincere, and Orochimaru is someone we can win over. You can't deny his power and how much his research has helped Konoha."

"Hmph, those forbidden techniques he researched..."

Shirokumo Yosuke said calmly, "It's said that the Second Hokage is the one who has researched the most forbidden techniques in the ninja world."

This sentence left Tsunade speechless. She naturally knew about her great-uncle's research on forbidden techniques. Before she left, she had entrusted all the scrolls of forbidden techniques in her house to Konoha for safekeeping.

After a moment of silence between them, Tsunade asked calmly, "Have you made up your mind?"

"It should be considered a perfect plan, and if I become the shogun, the Third Hokage should have no reason to forbid me from learning ninjutsu anymore, since Katsuyu has already taught me everything he could."

Baiyun Youjie waved his hand and said that medical ninjutsu requires practical operation. The most advanced Palm Healing Technique can control cell healing, but he has only learned that so far. He has not yet learned the more advanced medical ninjutsu from Tsunade.

However, if one were to activate the "omniscient" ability and be in close proximity to Tsunade, one should be able to learn all of Tsunade's techniques, experiences, and medical memories within a few hours.

But that would be too taxing on him, and Shiraku Yosuke can't do that right now.

"Since you've made your decision, there's nothing I, as your master, can say anything."

Tsunade snorted coldly. She felt a little uncomfortable, as if her teacher hadn't done anything, yet her disciple was already growing up so fast.

"I'll ask him tomorrow. The old man shouldn't say anything. When he does, you can come to Konoha Hospital to learn medical ninjutsu from me. I'll teach you other techniques as well!"
