Chapter 9 Uchiha Obito

"Hmph, that wretched old man!"

After leaving the Hokage Building, Tsunade continued to complain about Hiruzen Sarutobi; she didn't care if passing ninjas heard her, she wanted to say it to Hiruzen Sarutobi's face.

It wasn't just because she didn't trust him, but also because her teacher was old and too conservative in everything she did.

However, Tsunade had no choice for the time being. Konoha was the safest environment she could think of. She had only just encountered Orochimaru. If she had encountered people from the other four great ninja villages, let alone protecting Yosuke Hakuun, even Shizune would probably be in danger.

"We need to get that kid up to speed as soon as possible; to be honest, I'm not even sure about his talent yet."

As Tsunade walked towards the hospital, she pondered her next plan.

"To keep information about that brat a secret, first teach him the basics of ninjutsu, then gradually teach him strength. Oh, and we also need to remove the cursed seal Orochimaru left behind."

Arriving at the hospital room door, Tsunade pushed it open and went inside. Seeing Shizune, Kakashi, and Yosuke Shirakumo asleep on the bed, she asked, "Shizune, how's that kid?"

"Everything is fine, except that Yosuke woke up once just now, and the cursed seal activated."

Seeing that Tsunade had stepped forward to check on her after hearing this, Shizune quickly continued, "But Yosuke-kun quickly regained control."

Tsunade was astonished upon hearing this: "He's controlled it? He can control Orochimaru's cursed seal?"

"That's right, Lady Tsunade. I originally wanted to heal him, but Yosuke-kun quickly retracted the cursed seal using his own power. However, he later fell asleep due to exhaustion."

Upon hearing Shizune's words, Tsunade also stepped forward to check.

Apart from a slight fever, there were basically no other problems.

Tsunade felt a little relieved, but she still glanced at the curse mark on the back of Shirokumo Yosuke's neck; there must be Orochimaru's backup plan there, and it had to be dealt with.

Then, Tsunade turned her head and said, "Kakashi, thank you for your help today. Leave the rest to me. You can go back and rest."

"It's no trouble at all. I'll head back now, Lady Tsunade."

After Kakashi finished speaking, he left the ward.

After Kakashi left, Tsunade said to Shizune, "Shizune, go to my house and tidy it up. I haven't been back in a long time, and it's uninhabitable without cleaning. The address has changed; this is it."

Shizune took the address slip, nodded, and then asked, "Lady Tsunade, what about him?"

Tsunade glanced at Shiraku Yosuke and said, "I'll stay here and see. If there are no other problems, I'll take him back."

"Hey, do you want to live with us?"

"There's no other way. Even in the village, it's not absolutely safe. We can only do this for now."

Tsunade didn't believe Danzo would settle down. Even with the old man's orders, it was unlikely. If she and Orochimaru hadn't acted first, Shirokumo Yosuke might already be in Root's hands.

The ward fell silent. As Tsunade pondered matters of the future, she would occasionally glance at Yosuke Shirakumo lying on the hospital bed.

However, with each glance, Tsunade felt more and more awkward inside. Finally, she turned her head away in a huff and started biting her nails, her mind filled with the future scene she had dreamed of. How could she possibly make such a choice?

"This time it's absolutely impossible. I'm doing this to protect the future of the ninja world."

Time passed, the sun set, and as night approached, Shirakumo Yosuke still hadn't woken up.

Tsunade deduced that the cursed seal had exhausted too much of Hakuyun Yosuke's strength, and he probably wouldn't wake up until tomorrow. So she directly asked the medical ninjas in the hospital to help send Hakuyun Yosuke to her home.

Shizune had already tidied up the house. After Tsunade returned and helped take Shiraku Yosuke back to his room, they finally settled down.

The Land of Rain, a cave in the mountains not far from Amegakure.

"Obito, Obito?"

White Zetsu emerged from underground and, seeing Obito Uchiha lying motionless on the bed, went over and patted him.

Soon, Obito Uchiha was woken up by White Zetsu. However, his first reaction after waking up was to open his crimson Sharingan and quickly reach out to grab White Zetsu's neck tightly!

"Obito, what are you doing!?"

"Absolutely not, you."

Obito's words abruptly stopped; he quickly noticed his surroundings—it wasn't a battlefield.

To be precise, it seems he just fell asleep?

It was like a dream in which he seemed to live through a terrible future; his dreams were exposed, his identity was exposed, the person in front of him looked down on him from a high position, and in the end he died abandoned by everyone!

"Absolutely brilliant!"

The killing intent of his Sharingan was concealed; Obito did not want to act rashly before he had a clear understanding of the situation.

After loosening his grip on Zetsu's neck, Obito returned to his previous state and asked Zetsu, "What do you need me for?"

"Uchiha Itachi, didn't you ask me to monitor him?"

After finishing his sentence, White Zetsu took two steps to the direction Obito had turned his head and continued, "Obito, were you trying to attack me just now?"

"It's nothing, I just had a nightmare. Don't suddenly appear in front of me again."

Obito casually explained that after having that dream, he was now very wary of Zetsu; although it was just a dream, everything in the dream was so real that Obito believed it completely.

"Continue to monitor Uchiha Itachi. His Mangekyou Sharingan is the main force for capturing tailed beasts. Also, continue to look for suitable ninjas. Once we have enough people, we will immediately start the plan."

Zetsu said in a strange tone, "Of course I know. Nagato has already sent people to test several suitable candidates. If there are suitable candidates, Nagato will definitely force them to join Akatsuki."

When the Akatsuki was first established, Nagato or Konan were the ones recruiting subordinates, while Obito Uchiha would only take action when he saw someone suitable.

Obito said coldly, "I understand. If there's nothing else, continue to monitor Nagato and Itachi Uchiha."

"Are we still going to monitor you? But Obito, what nightmare did you just have? Obito? Obito."

Before Zetsu could finish speaking, Obito Uchiha used his Kamui ability to leave.

"Something seems off about this guy. Did he discover something, Black Zetsu?"

Bai asked, puzzled, "It seems like Obito really wanted to kill me just now."

"Unlikely, but have your clone keep an eye on Obito. If he discovers anything, then we'll be out of Madara's plans."

Black Zetsu also felt that Obito had acted strangely just now. If it hadn't suppressed its instincts, it would have attacked Obito.
