Chapter 124 Supreme Imperial Arms

The moment the emperor finished speaking, a deafening crash came from the door of the secret chamber.

The heavy metal door was blasted open by an unparalleled force, sending fragments flying everywhere.

Amidst the billowing smoke and dust, a tall figure slowly emerged.

Sakazuki walked steadily into the secret chamber, his gaze sweeping over the crystals filling the room before finally settling on the small, thin figure on the high platform.

"Heh." Sakazuki sneered. "Playing house in a place like this? It's time to end this, kid."

Ernest's face turned deathly pale upon hearing this. He turned to the emperor, his voice filled with urgency and fear: "Your Majesty! Hurry!!"

A cold glint flashed in Sakazuki's eyes, and he swung his right fist out. In an instant, a colossal dragon formed from crimson magma roared and charged toward the minister.

Seeing this, a resolute glint flashed in the emperor's eyes. He took a deep breath and murmured, "Father, Mother, please grant me strength."

Before he could finish speaking, the emperor gripped his scepter tightly with both hands and thrust it violently into the center of the high platform.

"Snap!"

A crisp cracking sound rang out, as if something had been broken. The next moment, a suffocating surge of energy erupted from the scepter.

Suddenly, the surrounding crystals shone brightly, emitting a dazzling blue light. The entire chamber seemed to transform into a vast ocean in an instant, with countless blue rays intertwining to form a massive energy vortex.

Suddenly, the ground shook violently.

"Boom!"

The floor of the secret chamber was instantly ripped off, sending rubble flying everywhere. A gigantic finger burst from the ground, followed by a second, then a third.

In the blink of an eye, a gigantic hand rose from the ground and blocked the minister's path. This hand was tens of meters tall, and its fingertips pierced through the ceiling of the secret chamber.

"boom!"

The lava dragon crashed heavily into the giant hand. Hot lava splashed everywhere, but the giant hand remained unmoved.

Sakazuki frowned slightly, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. He stared at the giant hand: "This is...?"

At this moment, Minister Ernest's expression of fear vanished instantly, replaced by a sinister smile.

He abruptly stood up, pointed at Sakazuki, and his voice was filled with arrogance:

"Hahahaha!!!" Ernest's laughter echoed throughout the secret chamber. "See that? You arrogant and rebellious traitor!"

Before he could finish speaking, the ground suddenly trembled violently. The ground beneath Sakazuki's feet began to crack, and countless fragments of rock flew out from the cracks.

"What?!" Sakazuki's pupils contracted sharply, and he instinctively leaped back several meters.

The moment he regained his footing, the spot where he had been standing suddenly exploded, and a gigantic metal hand burst forth from the ground. That hand was large enough to easily crush an ordinary building.

Sakazuki retreated step by step, eventually stepping out of the secret chamber.

As soon as I stood still, the ground beneath my feet trembled violently, as if some enormous creature was about to burst forth from the earth.

"Boom!"

With a deafening roar, the ground began to crack. Debris rained down like a storm, forcing Sakazuki to raise his hand to shield himself.

"This is the Empire's trump card!" Ernest's voice grew increasingly shrill with each passing moment, "The supreme Imperial Arms of origin and pinnacle! Kneel down, submit to this unparalleled power!"

The ceiling of the secret room had already been blown off, revealing a clear blue sky overhead. However, this blue sky was soon shrouded in a huge shadow.

"Snap! Snap!"

With a screeching sound of metal scraping against metal, more parts slowly rose from the ground. Thick arms, broad shoulders—each movement caused a violent tremor.

Sakazuki felt as if he were standing on a giant drum, his whole body bouncing to the rhythm.

In the blink of an eye, an incredibly enormous figure appeared. It was entirely silver-white, draped in a cloak, and resembled a majestic ancient monarch. This behemoth was a thousand meters tall, almost piercing the sky.

"I didn't expect there to be such a trump card," Sakazuki murmured, his fists clenching unconsciously, a rare hint of surprise in his voice. "Is this the difficulty of A-rank?"

Meanwhile, inside the cockpit of the giant mech, the young emperor was surveying the entire battlefield through a holographic screen.

When he saw the inner city, which had been razed to the ground, anger instantly flashed across his youthful face.

"How...how is this possible!" The young emperor's voice trembled with rage, his eyes flashing with disbelief. His knuckles turned white from the force of his grip.

His eyes blazed with fury: "This is the city my father painstakingly built! You traitors, how dare you destroy my city like this!!"

"Your Majesty, please calm down!" Ernest's voice came through the communicator. "This is not the time to lose your temper; we must concentrate on dealing with the enemy before us!"

The emperor took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. His gaze locked onto Sakazuki's figure, a resolute glint in his eyes.

"You're right, Minister," the Emperor's voice turned icy, "it's time to let these traitors see the true power of the Empire."

The emperor's eyes were fixed on the holographic screen in front of him, where Sakazuki's figure was locked onto by a red crosshair.

"Try this first," the emperor said in a low voice.

As soon as he finished speaking, the Supreme Imperial Arms' massive chest began to glow brilliantly. At first, it was just a faint blue light, but in the blink of an eye, it expanded into a huge sphere of light.

Sakazuki stood rooted to the spot, his pupils suddenly contracting. His Observation Haki activated a frantic warning, and the hairs on his body stood on end as a sense of impending doom washed over him.

"I absolutely cannot take this attack head-on!" Sakazuki's inner alarm bells rang loudly.

"shave!"

Almost as soon as the thought flashed through his mind, Sakazuki's figure had already turned into a blur.

Only a low, booming sound remained in the air—the sound of breaking the sound barrier in an instant.

Just as Sakazuki disappeared, a beam of light hundreds of meters thick burst forth from the chest of the Supreme Imperial Arms.

"boom!"

The beam of light traveled hundreds of miles at an unimaginable speed, sweeping across the land and leaving nothing but desolation in its wake.

The distant mountains were as fragile as paper in the face of this terrifying energy, instantly turning into dust.

Sakazuki's gaze was fixed on the distant mountain range that had been completely flattened.

A hint of undisguised shock flashed in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by a calm demeanor.

"Truly astonishing destructive power," Sakazuki muttered to himself, a rare hint of admiration in his voice. "If I were hit directly by such an attack, I'm afraid even I wouldn't be able to escape unscathed."

However, at that moment, Sakazuki's gaze returned to the massive mech. His eyes sharpened, as if he were calculating something.

"But," Sakazuki narrowed his eyes, "with such a huge size, its speed probably won't be too fast."
