Chapter 256 Mechanical Legion

Deep within the underground cavern, Levi's temporary base was already taking shape.

After several hours of construction, the originally empty cave has been transformed into a fully equipped command center.

The silver alloy walls divide the area into several separate functional zones.

The nanorobots are also continuously refining the details of the base's construction.

In the control room, Levi was leaning over to look at the rapidly flowing data stream on the control panel.

Numerous mineral exploration results are being updated in real time.

"Report." Max strode in. "The North Sector's defense system is fully deployed, and the energy shields are ready to activate at any time."

"Continue scanning, focusing on the deeper underground layers," Levi replied without looking up, his fingers rapidly adjusting parameters on the control panel.

"The underground resources in this era are still very abundant, and we must seize this opportunity."

The Naruto world's productivity was extremely low, and underground resources were almost entirely undeveloped, which conveniently benefited them.

"boom!"

Suddenly, a violent tremor struck, and the entire cavern shook. The instruments on the control panel flashed wildly and emitted sharp alarms.

"What's going on?" Adam immediately turned to look at the screen.

Levi strode to the control panel and rapidly typed on the keyboard: "The energy detector detected strong electromagnetic fluctuations, far exceeding previous levels."

"Boom!"

Another tremor struck, this time even more violently than before. Rock fragments rained down from the cave ceiling.

The readings on the monitor kept climbing and soon exceeded the maximum scale.

Levi quickly brought up a 3D map. In the semi-transparent holographic projection, a red energy cluster was expanding wildly, like ink dripping into clear water, quickly staining a large area red.

"This energy fluctuation," Levi squinted, "is an electromagnetic shock, and at this frequency, Allen... he used Bankai."

"Bankai?" Max's eyes widened. "The Captain's final release form?"

He had never seen the captain use this ability before.

Levi nodded: "I didn't expect to encounter an opponent here who could force Eren to use his Bankai." He pulled up more monitoring data: "The power dynamics in this world are indeed very complex."

"Captain, should we go provide support?" Adam clenched his fist, and faint black hairs rippled beneath his skin.

Reeves turned to look at Adam, a questioning look on his face, then shook his head and said, "No, the battle on his side is beyond our level of intervention."

He pointed to the monitoring screen and said, "Look at the intensity of these energy fluctuations; they've reached a level that can tear space apart."

Max leaned closer to the screen: "But the captain..."

"Allen has his own judgment," Levi said simply.

"Our top priority now is to complete the base construction. The main framework must be completed within two hours. Let's go, let's go check on the progress on site."

The three left the command room and entered the underground cavern. The sight before them made Max and Adam hold their breath instantly.

Countless silver nanobots flowed through the air like water, branching into dozens of main streams, each constructing different facilities.

The flowing Milky Way intertwines in the sky, constantly splitting and recombine, forming a spectacular scene.

The main control center has been completed, and military factories are springing up everywhere.

Tens of thousands of nanobots poured out from the tunnels around the base and began to rapidly construct in the underground space.

"This is our main base." Levi pushed up his glasses.

Max and Adam stared wide-eyed at the sight before them.

Suddenly, Max pointed to one of the production lines: "Wait, is that a siege behemoth from space?"

"Good eye," Levi nodded. "However, this is an upgraded version. The armor uses hybrid nanomaterials, and the adaptive armor can adjust its defensive approach in real time according to the type of attack."

"Not only that." Adam looked at another production line, "The Marauder from Warhammer 40K, the Apocalypse Tank from Red Alert. These are all top-tier armored vehicles."

"Each armor is equipped with a kinetic shield with mass effect," Levi explained, "as well as the Matrix power system from StarCraft."

Above the factory, a large group of Valkyrie fighter jets were being assembled, their silver bodies gleaming coldly under the lights.

"Are these mass-produced machines from Titanfall?" Max looked up at the menacing fighters.

"An improved version," Levi pulled up the data, "incorporating the transformation technology of the Space Fortress, allowing it to freely switch between air and land combat."

"That in the sky... isn't that the O'Neill?" Adam pointed to the huge space station under construction above the base.

"That's right, an orbital space station from cyberpunk, but it's equipped with a metal-armored orbital ion cannon. One shot can vaporize a small mountain."

The two men stared blankly at the endless stream of weapons being produced.

The entire underground cavern has been transformed into a massive military factory, and it continues to expand.

"These are our trump cards?" Max was still in shock.

"This is just the beginning. In another five hours, production capacity will increase tenfold."

"But that's not enough. We lack truly top-tier power," Levi said. "We must find the Dragon Vein; we need even greater power."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

"But that's not enough." Levi walked to the control panel, his fingers rapidly pulling up a series of data. "No matter how powerful these weapons are, they're still just conventional military forces. We lack truly top-tier combat power."

"Levi presses a button on his wrist first."

"Initiate launch procedure."

A dull mechanical sound suddenly came from the ground, and several cracks appeared in the top of the cave.

More than a dozen launch silos opened one after another, revealing the silver rocket launch pads below.

"Boom!" With a deafening engine roar, the first rocket soared into the sky, its orange-red tail illuminating the entire underground space.

"Launching silo number two is ready!"

"Launching silo number three is ready!"

"Number Four."

Rockets were launched one after another, and in the blink of an eye, dozens of satellites soared into the sky.

Levi stared at the monitoring screen, which displayed the real-time location and operational status of each satellite.

A few minutes later, the first batch of data was transmitted back. Levi quickly browsed the scrolling information on the screen and suddenly his eyes lit up.

A red marker popped up on the main screen, and the energy detector showed a huge source of fluctuation.

"Found it!" Levi's eyes lit up. "The location of the dragon vein!"

Levi immediately pulled up a 3D map, where a clear energy vein meandered underground.

Just then, a sharp alarm suddenly sounded from the control panel.

"High-speed moving target spotted to the northwest!" Max shouted.

"Bring up the screen."

The main screen shows a five-person team moving rapidly across the treetops at an astonishing speed.

Levi squinted: "How far away?"

"At the current speed, we will arrive in approximately five minutes."

"How is this possible?" Levi frowned, as a layer of mimicry shield enveloped the base.

Logically speaking, outsiders should have no way of discovering the location of the base.

"Never mind," Levi said calmly. "Activate the defense system, mobilize the entire army. Max and Adam, come with me to the location of the Dragon Vein."
