Chapter 4 Magellan

Just then, a jailer carrying a fork passed by the prison gate, and suddenly a shouting and cursing came from inside.

"Hey, you bunch of bastards, how dare you lock me up here! Do you believe I'll twist your head off and use it as a football?!" The bull's voice was rough and grating, echoing in the cramped cell.

"What's all the noise about? Quiet down!" The jailer frowned, clearly displeased. He strode to the cell door, glaring fiercely at the bull. "If you dare to be disrespectful again, I'll cut your tongue off!"

Unfazed, the bull intensified its tirade. "Ha, who do you think you are? I'm a pirate with a bounty of ninety million! A mere jailer dares to swagger in front of me?!"

Enraged, the jailer grabbed a pitchfork with his right hand and seized the iron bars of the cell door. "You arrogant bastard, I'll teach you a lesson!"

Before he could finish speaking, a cold light suddenly pierced through the darkness, moving with lightning speed towards the jailer's throat. A sharp longsword instantly pierced his neck, and blood gushed out like a torrent.

"Ugh!" The jailer let out a short scream, frantically scratching at the wound on his neck, but powerless to stop his life from slipping away.

A moment later, he fell straight to the ground and remained silent.

"Talking too much can get you killed." With a cold voice, Orochimaru stepped forward, still holding the blood-stained longsword in his hand.

Then Orochimaru's lips curled into a smile. Suddenly, his body rose higher, like a nimble snake, and he slipped through the gap between the two railings.

Orochimaru then looked down at the corpse of the jailer at his feet, a cold glint in his eyes.

The next second, countless white snakes emerged from his body, cascading down like a waterfall and covering the prison guard's corpse.

"Hiss..." A chilling sound rang out, and the white snakes began to frantically tear at the corpse, peeling away the flesh bit by bit to reveal the stark white bones.

The prisoners were pale and looked like they were about to vomit; even a villain like Bull couldn't help but gasp.

Soon, the jailer's body was completely devoured, leaving only a pile of white bones and clothing.

Before anyone could react, Orochimaru formed hand seals.

With a bang, white smoke billowed up, enveloping Orochimaru's figure. When the smoke cleared, a jailer appeared before everyone's eyes.

Orochimaru, disguised as a jailer, stood outside the cell with a cold expression. He bent down, picked up the keys and clothes from the ground, and casually tossed them into the cell.

"Since we're going to break out of prison, let's make a big fuss," he said, his tone calm but laced with a sinister air.

The prisoners in the cell stared blankly at the scene, speechless with shock. The mysterious man had transformed into a jailer in the blink of an eye!

The bull's eyes widened, and it muttered to itself, "Maybe we really do have a chance to escape."

The other prisoners looked at each other, their eyes gleaming with a mixture of hope and unease.

They still seemed unable to believe that this person of unknown origin could actually lead them away from this hellish prison.

Just then, a loud noise came from above, and the entire ceiling seemed to tremble, with countless specks of dust falling.

Immediately afterwards, a piercing alarm blared throughout the entire floor, the shrill sound causing the prisoners to exchange bewildered glances.

"This is an emergency summons of the prison guards," an elderly prisoner said gravely. "It seems something serious has happened."

The other prisoners also looked uneasy and whispered among themselves.

"The last time the alarm went off was when 'that thing' happened," a prisoner said in a low voice, his expression horrified. "Was someone trying to escape?"

Orochimaru, however, remained calm and unaffected.

"This is actually a good opportunity. With all the guards focused and their attention diverted, it will be more beneficial to our plan."

The bull paused for a moment, then nodded knowingly.

"Got it, boss." He grinned, revealing a set of yellow teeth. "I'll turn the whole prison into chaos."

"Very well," Orochimaru said in a low voice. "Then I'll go and see what caused this commotion."

Orochimaru followed the alarm sound to the entrance leading to the fourth floor.

At this moment, a large number of prison guards had gathered outside the door, and the sounds of fierce fighting could be heard continuously from behind the door, indicating that some kind of riot was taking place there.

At the forefront of the prison guards' ranks stood a tall man wielding a double-edged broadsword. He had extremely prominent, fleshy eyebrows that resembled two large caterpillars crawling on his brow bone. His square face was thick with flesh, and his small eyes revealed a cunning and sinister glint.

Just then, a jailer stepped out from the ranks and respectfully said to Hannibal, "Deputy Warden, should we go up and provide support? The commotion inside seems to be getting louder."

Upon hearing his subordinate's question, Hannibal revealed a lewd smile.

I'm currently reading the error-free version! This is the first time I've published this novel.

He rubbed his hands together, his eyes gleaming with greed, and muttered to himself, "Hehehe, if Magellan gets taken down, and then the higher-ups blame me, I'll finally become the warden! Then I can do whatever I want, hehehe."

Although Hannibal's sinister mutterings were not loud, the surrounding jailers heard them clearly.

Noticing the suspicious looks from the guards around him, Hannibal belatedly realized what had happened. He awkwardly scratched his head, chuckled dryly, and tried to cover up his slip of the tongue: "Oops, I accidentally blurted out what I was thinking."

Orochimaru stood in the crowd, expressionless, watching Hannibal's comical antics. A strange feeling stirred within him. What kind of person was Hannibal, to be able to so bluntly express his desires, especially at a time like this...?

However, the other party's ugly behavior of scheming for personal gain reminded Orochimaru of another person—Danzo, who always prioritized his own interests.

"Heh... There are despicable people like that in every world."

Just then, the fighting behind the door stopped abruptly, and an eerie silence fell over the surroundings, broken only by the sound of the door hinges turning.

Then a series of heavy footsteps sounded, and the iron gate slowly opened, revealing an incredibly tall figure before everyone's eyes.

The moment Orochimaru saw the other person, he was stunned. His enormous body made even Hannibal, who was three meters tall, look like a child next to him, completely overshadowed by his burly frame.

What truly terrified him were Magellan's enormous bat wings and the sharp horns on his head, which made him look like a demon.

"Is this the warden of Impel Down? What a monster!" Orochimaru frowned. Since his battle with Hanzo, he had never felt such a deadly aura.

"Listen up," Magellan said, his voice deep and powerful. "The commotion has been quelled, and the prisoners have been subdued. However, the prison's security level must be raised again to prevent any further escapes."

"From now on, every prison guard must be more vigilant, increase patrols, and report any suspicious activity to me immediately," Magellan ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Magellan then strode down the steps and headed towards the gate. As he passed Orochimaru, a powerful sense of oppression washed over him.

Magellan's towering figure was like a moving mountain, each step stirring up a breeze, radiating a suffocating sense of oppression. Such a physique would be no small feat in a fight.

Just then, Magellan suddenly stopped, slowly lowered his head, and stared intently into Orochimaru's eyes.

Orochimaru instantly tensed all his muscles, a chill creeping up his spine to the back of his neck. He remained outwardly calm, but his fingers were already clenched, ready to strike at any moment.

"Have I been found out?" Orochimaru felt a pang of unease, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. He knew that the monstrous warden before him was no ordinary person, and moreover, everyone here was Orochimaru's man. If his identity were exposed, his chances of survival would be slim.
