Chapter 58 Demon King Muzan: ? ? ?
Madara Uchiha was lost in thought when he suddenly heard a soft call.
"Mr. Madara, dinner is ready. Please come and eat with us," said Kamado Aoi, standing at the door with a smile.
Madara looked up at her and nodded slightly. He slowly stood up and followed Aoi toward the restaurant.
The dining table was already surrounded by children, who greeted Ban with "Hello, Grandpa!" as he arrived.
"Mr. Madara, please have a seat here," said Aoi, pulling out a chair.
Madara Uchiha then sat down. The food on the table consisted of only some vegetables, and the staple food was just some porridge.
Although the food was simple, the children around looked happy. The two youngest children were playing around while eating, which drew a scolding from Kui Zhi. It seemed that although life was hard, they were still very happy.
Seeing this heartwarming scene, Ban couldn't help but recall the past.
"Izuna," he murmured his younger brother's name in his heart. He hadn't experienced this scene of the whole family sitting around the dining table for a long time.
Madara Uchiha had many brothers and sisters, but due to the war, only Izuna and Madara survived. In the end, Izuna was killed on the battlefield by that damned Tobirama Senju.
Suddenly, Madara realized that he was starting to feel sentimental.
He was slightly taken aback, a self-deprecating thought flashing through his mind: "Am I really getting old? I'm actually getting sentimental over something like this."
He thought to himself, "Once I return to the ninja world and activate the Infinite Tsukuyomi, everything will be restored, the world will be at peace forever, and this kind of thing will never happen again."
Just then, Ban's body tensed up abruptly, and his expression instantly turned serious. His sharp gaze swept towards the window, as if he had sensed some danger.
The next second, Madara Uchiha suddenly stood up, and everyone at the table immediately looked at him.
Kamado Aoi: "What's wrong, Mr. Madara?"
"Stay here and don't move, it's dangerous," Ban said in a deep voice, his tone carrying an unquestionable command.
Before he could finish speaking, Madara's figure had already vanished from the spot. His speed was astonishing; the air itself didn't even have time to ripple.
This sudden turn of events stunned everyone. The children at the table stared wide-eyed in shock at where Ban had just been sitting, then turned in unison to their mother.
"Mom! Him!" the children exclaimed, their voices filled with surprise.
Kui Zhi was also startled by this sudden turn of events. She quickly regained her composure, stood up immediately, and instinctively shielded the children behind her.
"Children, don't be afraid," Aoi said, trying to sound calm, but her voice still trembled slightly. "Everyone, be quiet, listen to Grandpa Madara, and don't move around."

A figure moved slowly forward in the snow. Each step he took left a clear footprint on the pristine white snow.
"A thousand years have passed, and yet no demon has appeared that can resist the sunlight, nor has the blue spider lily shown a trace." He muttered to himself, his voice carrying a barely perceptible hint of anxiety.
This was a tall, slender man wearing a long black overcoat, the hem of which swayed gently in the wind. His handsome face was as white as snow, as if he had blended into the surrounding snowy scenery.
Suddenly he stopped in his tracks.
Not far ahead, the figure of an old man appeared. The old man was thin and hunched over, looking as if a gust of wind would knock him over.
However, when Muzan's gaze met the old man's eyes, he couldn't help but be slightly taken aback.
Those were blood-red eyes, strikingly bright against the pale snow. Even Muzan sensed something unusual about them.
"You are the Demon King Muzan?" Madara Uchiha asked, not as a question, but as a confirmation.
Muzan narrowed his eyes slightly, his expression instantly turning icy. He hadn't expected anyone to call him by his name, let alone a human who looked so old.
However, the other person's eyes piqued his interest. It would be a pity to kill him directly. He was in a good mood today, so he could let him live a little longer.
"How strange," Muzan said, a hint of amusement in his voice, "that an ordinary human knows my identity."
He paused, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Are you a member of the Demon Slayer Corps? Or has someone leaked my secret?"
Madara Uchiha remained silent, simply meeting Muzan's gaze calmly. This composure stirred a sense of displeasure within Muzan.
He was used to seeing humans tremble with fear in his presence, but this old man showed no fear whatsoever.
Muzan scrutinized the old man, noticing his hunched back and wrinkled face, and a mocking smile involuntarily crept onto his lips.
"However," Muzan continued, a hint of smugness in his voice, "no matter what you know, or who you were in the past, it ultimately doesn't change anything. Look at yourself now."
He pointed at Madara Uchiha, "Wrinkles, white hair, hunched back, this is the fate of mankind."
He shook his head dismissively. "Humans, what pathetic creatures. No matter how powerful you once were, you can't escape the fate of aging and death in the end."
A glint of fanaticism flashed in Muzan's eyes. "And I, forever young, forever strong. That is the difference between demons and humans."
I'm currently reading the error-free version! This is the first time I've published this novel.
Just then, Madara slowly spoke: "Who I am is not important. What is important is that your killing spree ends here today."
Muzan was stunned for a moment, then felt a sense of absurdity. A mocking glint flashed in his eyes as he coldly said, "Do you think you, a dying man, can stop me?"
His voice suddenly turned cold, carrying a chilling edge: "It seems you have no sense of mortality!"
boom!
A muffled thud echoed through the air, and Muzan's figure appeared before Madara Uchiha. His speed was astonishing, tearing apart the surrounding air and creating a sharp whistling sound.
Muzan's hand shot out like lightning, fingers spread wide, aiming straight for Madara's throat. A cruel glint flashed in his eyes.
However, just as Muzan's fingertips were about to touch Madara's skin, the scene suddenly changed, and Madara's figure vanished instantly.
"What?!" A hint of panic flashed in Muzan's eyes.
"Too slow."
A deep voice suddenly came from above Muzan's head. Muzan looked up abruptly, his pupils contracted sharply, and a chill instantly swept over his entire body.
Madara had appeared above him without him noticing, looking down at him. Before Muzan could react, a thick tree branch appeared out of thin air in Madara's right hand.
The next instant, the branch pierced the air like a sharp sword, heading straight for Muzan's head.
"boom!"
A deafening roar reverberated. The tree branch, imbued with incredible power, pierced through Muzan's skull in an instant.
The immense impact pinned Muzan to the ground, his face slamming heavily into the snow, creating a large crater and sending snow fragments flying everywhere.
Muzan's body convulsed violently, blood gushing from his wounds and staining the surrounding snow red. His eyes were filled with disbelief, clearly unable to comprehend what had happened.
