Chapter 155 Jiraiya finally meets Tsunade

Outside Konoha Village, on a steep mountain peak rarely visited by humans.

This is the training ground that Kakashi and Sasuke agreed upon, and it's also the place where Kakashi once taught Chidori and the dog-head version of Earth Release: Earth Wall.

Kakashi had his left hand behind his back, his legs dangling in the air, and he was crawling upwards with one hand.

The physical strain and the oppression of the intimate paradise caused him to collapse several times, his body convulsing violently and drenched in sweat.

"I never imagined that rock climbing training would be so difficult; my body has become sluggish."

Just as Kakashi's body was about to give out and his fingers were detaching from the rock one by one, he closed his eyes, and the image of the human chakra pathways appeared in his mind. His brain pounded like a heartbeat.

As the first gate of the Eight Gates opened, his chakra and power surged to a new level, and he leaped up, gripping a rock at the very edge of the cliff.

Meanwhile, Sasuke, eager to become stronger, had already arrived. With his back to the sunlight, he looked down at Kakashi and greeted him, "Yo."

"Looks like you've finally arrived." Kakashi looked at Sasuke, squinting slightly because the sunlight was too bright.

"I should be the one saying that, Kakashi. You're late again," Sasuke said with a cool expression.

"You're really not cute." Kakashi pouted, and with a slight effort of his right hand, he easily leaped to the top of the cliff.

The next moment, he froze, completely stunned. "What...what is this?"

The cliff top, which was originally full of rocks, was now riddled with pits and craters. In the huge pits, there were rocks that had been cut in half and debris from the explosion. Some of the rocks had many small holes about the size of a thumb and were covered with moss. It was completely different from the cliff top he remembered.

This is beyond description; "utter chaos" is an understatement.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the entire top of the huge cliff was sheared off at the waist.

More importantly, he could confirm that no one had come here since he summoned Chiya from here to the Hokage Building years ago.

In other words, Qianye had been hiding himself since that time.

"What are you surprised about? Isn't this the place where you once instructed Fujiwara Chiya in her training?"

Sasuke walked to Kakashi's side, his eyes filled with confidence. He firmly believed that as long as he studied Chidori with Kakashi during this time, he would be able to achieve the same level in the near future.

"No, it's nothing. Let's begin now."

Kakashi knew how competitive Sasuke was, but in order not to discourage Sasuke, he ultimately did not reveal the truth. He turned his head to look out of Konoha and murmured to himself, "Chiya, just how strong are you?"

A gentle breeze rustled the roadside trees.

The streets were silent and spotless under the afternoon sky. Everything was so clean, tidy, and orderly; even the trash cans on the roadside looked spotless.

It was midday, the sun blazing, and Tanzaku, a town renowned as a historical site in the Naruto world, was deserted.

The only people active on the street were a middle-aged man and a teenager.

The middle-aged man was tall and wore a headband with the character "oil" written on it. His long white hair reached his waist. There were red marks under his eyes that extended to his jawline. He wore a red outer coat over a brown inner garment, wooden clogs, and hand guards.

The boy had short blond hair, azure eyes, and six whisker-like markings on his cheeks. He wore an orange jacket suit with blue shoulder pads and a white collar; the back of the jacket and the left arm were sewn with the insignia of the Uzumaki clan, a kunai bag was strapped to his right leg, he wore blue ninja shoes, and a Konoha ninja headband was tied to his head.

They finally found Jiraiya and Naruto after searching along the way for half a month. Because Tsunade had settled in Tanabata, she no longer wandered around, so they arrived here earlier than in the original story.

At this moment, Jiraiya was holding Tsunade's photo, walking around and looking at everything.

Naruto followed behind him, holding the ball in his hand, squeezing it with his chakra as he walked.

Suddenly, Jiraiya stopped in front of a luxurious villa in Tanabata.

Naruto was so focused on the ball that he accidentally bumped into Jiraiya, causing Jiraiya to fall to the ground with a thud, and the ball burst open.

"What are you doing, you perverted sage?" Naruto winced, rubbing his sore bottom. He looked around and, when he found the ball, discovered it was broken. Overjoyed, he jumped up, "Haha! Perverted sage, I did it! I did it!"

Jiraiya ignored Naruto, as his gaze was drawn to the direction of the gate to the villa ahead.

A girl with thick, black, short hair that reached her ears and a pure-looking face walked out carrying a pet pig.

Behind her followed a pretty little girl with golden twin tails, bright brown eyes, and a striking resemblance to Tsunade.

Upon seeing the two, Jiraiya's face immediately lit up with a sly smile. He stepped forward to greet them, "Yo, Shizune."

Shizune looked in the direction of the voice, and upon seeing who it was, she was taken aback. "You are... Lord Jiraiya?"

"It's been so many years, you've really gotten more and more beautiful. And Tsunade too, as always, she likes to act young, she's even wearing cute twin tails like a young girl, is it because she's in debt from gambling again?"

Jiraiya walked up to the two girls and half-squatted down. Just as Jiraiya was about to stroke Chinatsu's cute little head, a mute voice sounded in his ear, "Lord Jiraiya, please stop."

"Mom, come save me! There are bad people here!"

However, it was already too late, because Chika had already started crying.

"What's wrong? Isn't she Tsunade?" Hearing the girl's crying, Jiraiya realized he had mistaken her for someone else and turned to look at Shizune.

"Lord Jiraiya, may you have good luck." With that, Shizune picked up Chinatsu and rushed back into the courtyard, closing the gate tightly behind her.

The next instant, a dark shadow suddenly darted from the courtyard into the sky, turning into a black dot and falling straight down. The street ground instantly collapsed, and surrounding houses crumbled, burying Naruto and Jiraiya in the ruins.

"Hey, Tsunade, stop! It's me." Jiraiya crawled out of the ruins looking rather disheveled.

"Jiraiya?" Tsunade's eyes flashed with surprise. Why did he suddenly come here? Could it be that, as Chiya said, he came to find her to become Hokage?

"I'm telling you, old friend, we haven't seen each other in a long time, you don't have to treat me like this," Jiraiya said with a wry smile.

"Who told you to bully my daughter?" Tsunade crossed her arms and held them under her chest.

"Daughter?" Jiraiya was taken aback, only then noticing the solid gold ring on Tsunade's left ring finger. His eyes widened in surprise. "Huh? You're already married?"
