Chapters 275 & 276: The Hyuga Clan and the Sealing Arrow

"Miss Yuhuo, why did you do this?" Hirota Tulio asked in a hoarse voice as he looked at Yuhuo.

A mixture of shame, self-reproach, and guilt crossed Yuhuo's face. He then coldly said to Yakushi Kabuto:

"Outsider, I've done as you asked. Where's the magic you promised to turn me into a human?"

"Of course, I won't go back on my word."

Kabuto Yakushi pulled an ancient-looking scroll from his sleeve and tossed it over from a distance, a strange glint in his eyes.

"The path to salvation lies within it."

Yu Huo awkwardly took the reel, his hands trembling, his face showing a mixture of hope and anxiety, and he eagerly unrolled the reel.

With just one glance, Yu Huo's expression was filled with shock, and his face turned extremely ugly.

She looked down in disbelief, her gaze shifting up and down several times, until the last glimmer of hope in her heart was extinguished.

"This...this isn't what we agreed on!"

Yuhu looked at Yakushi Kabuto and questioned him, his voice filled with barely suppressed anger.

Kabuto, seemingly oblivious, adjusted his round glasses and chuckled:

"Miss Fisherman, how can you turn the tables on me? This Reincarnation Technique, isn't it supposed to turn you back into a human?"

"What I want is to shed the demon blood within me and become human, not to use this evil practice to seize someone else's body!"

"Miss Yuhuo, you should have said this sooner. If you have anyone to blame, it's that you didn't explain it clearly. I kept my promise."

Kabuto spread his hands, his smile still gentle, but there was a hint of mockery in his voice.

"Damn it! How dare you lie to me!"

Yuhuo's eyes were almost spitting fire, and its body was covered with fish scales, turning it into a strange half-human, half-fish creature as it pounced on Yakushi Kabuto.

"And your half-demon!"

"A half-demon? You mean Suzuki Kimie? Unfortunately, you've misunderstood again; it's not like you."

Kabuto remained calm, forming a hand seal with both hands and then bringing them together; a black array of runes flashed by.

A woman with thick, long hair like seaweed and octopus tentacles appeared in front of Kabuto Yakushi.

The octopus's tentacles suddenly shot out, tightly binding the fishing light and suspending it in mid-air.

"Having done such a thing to the priestess, I have no place left to hide on Hourai Island..."

Tears welled up in Yu Huo's eyes.

"Miss Yuhuo, I have never lied from beginning to end. It's just wishful thinking on your part."

"You bastard! You lied to me!"

Yuhuo was so angry that his lips trembled, and he angrily cursed at Yakushi Kabuto.

Kabuto smiled, and with a flick of his octopus tentacles, he brought Yuhi to him. Kabuto then delivered a palm strike to Yuhi's neck.

"Miss Yuhuo, you're too noisy, go take a nap."

The octopus loosened its grip, dropping the unconscious Yuhuo onto the ground. Yakushi Kabuto glanced at it indifferently before walking towards the Hourai Shrine Maiden.

"Kabuto Yakushi, aren't you going too far?!"

Hirota Turi looked at Yakushi Kabuto with righteous indignation and blurted out.

Kabuto Yakushi actually took advantage of Miss Yuuki's wish to return to human form, using her as a tool to kill someone and plot against the Hourai Shrine Maiden. He was utterly despicable and shameless.

"Oh dear, Mr. Hirota, you think too badly of me. I had no choice but to do it."

"Ikushi Kabuto said with a smile."

But Hirota Turi felt a chill run down his spine; he could sense that the fake smile was nothing more than a disguise by Yakushi Kabuto.

"Don't worry, I promised Miss Yuhuo I wouldn't hurt anyone. You guys have all played a part in causing the chaos. Now just behave yourselves, since you can't do anything anyway, can you?"

Hirota Turi's face turned pale and then red, and in the end he could only hang his head and shut his mouth in dejection. Just as Yakushi Kabuto said, he was indeed powerless to change the current situation.

A gentle breeze swept through the mountains, causing the banners in front of the photography studio to flutter in the wind.

Kabuto stared at the red spiral magatama pattern pointing upwards within the yellow circle on the banner for a few moments, then hesitated before tentatively saying:

"My lady, this is the Hyuga clan's crest, isn't it?"

The witch of Penglai closed her eyes and spoke calmly.

Kabuto glanced thoughtfully at the Hyuga Shrine Maiden's eyes, which had remained closed throughout, and said.

An octopus tentacle extended and snatched the Hourai Jade Branch from the Hyuga Shrine Maiden's hand, handing it to Yakushi Kabuto.

"This is a creation of Yin and Yang."

Hinata Shrine Maiden tilted her head towards the octopus girl Suzuki Kimie, revealing a hint of surprise.

Yakushi Kabuto crouched on the ground and forced a smile.

The next second, Kabuto's body seemed to vanish into thin air, disappearing from the spot in a bizarre manner.

The Hyuga shrine maiden frowned slightly, closed her purple Tenseigan, and then gracefully turned around.

Hirota Tulio raised his wrist, glanced at his watch, and was instantly terrified.

It took them four hours to get from the beach to the shrine, over mountains and valleys. They encountered several setbacks along the way and spent a lot of time. Now they have less than three hours left before they have to leave Penglai Island.

Without considering the potential dangers on the return journey and the preparations for crossing the sea to the island, even riding at top speed, it would be impossible to get back to the beach from here.

"There is a lake behind the shrine. You can leave Penglai safely by taking a small boat."

Just as she had foreseen before, the Hyuga Shrine Maiden understood Hirota Turi's concerns and pointed towards the back mountain.

Suddenly, a dark, wet, unidentified object clung to the deck.

This startled everyone.

"Tulio!"

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Antonio, a Black man.

"Antonio, what are you doing here?"

"I was on the beach when I saw a wooden boat heading out to sea, so I jumped in and swam over. I didn't expect it to be you guys," Antonio, the black man, said with a thumbs-up, revealing his pearly white teeth.

Hirota Tulio couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. Was this a case of fools having good luck?

Before long, the wooden boat seemed to have passed through something; the fog instantly disappeared, and a vast expanse of sea and a sky full of stars appeared before it.

Two large warships cut through the sea and headed menacingly toward the wooden boat.
