Chapter 366, Section 364: The Living Room War, An Unexpected Joy

As is well known, human history has seen two large-scale wars.

Fighting World War I and then World War II is a glorious tradition that must be carried on.

The Cooper family's living room was in complete chaos; last time, five women fought, but this time it had escalated to nine.

Elizabeth, at least, didn't participate, staying in the distance with Eric's parents.

Joshua and his two sisters-in-law closed the doors and windows and drew the curtains, then stood at the doorway watching the spectacle.

"My dad told me that after the last fight, Eric gave some shares to the other party, and he'll probably have to give some more this time."

All nine women were prominent figures, but at this moment none of them cared about their image, and they wrestled and fought amongst themselves in a chaotic mess.

She sat on Mary's back while pressing Ashley down.

"You two look quite disobedient. It seems Eric hasn't disciplined you properly."

"You bastard! Let go of me, go home and lick your mirror. Are men making you obsessed, you bitch!"

Despite the other person's constant cursing, Judy wasn't angry.

She chuckled and patted his cheek: "Is it really okay for me to say that? Why don't you ask Eric who can make him more comfortable?"

"And he told me a lot, including how you guys usually do things, and whether I need to say it out loud."

The Olsen twins immediately fell silent. Judy's lesbian sexuality was public knowledge, but theirs was private and couldn't be known by others.

Ashley nudged her sister, signaling her to stop talking.

Eric wasn't idle either; he was trying to persuade one side and then pull the other side along.

But none of the five women gave him a kind look; they all cursed him for being ungrateful, shameless, and untrustworthy.

After all that commotion, looking at the mess in the living room, all I could hear were vulgarities like "bitch" and "son of a bitch."

Eric's anger was building up, and finally he couldn't hold back any longer and yelled, "Stop! All of you, stop the fuck!"

"If I see anyone utter another curse word or make another movement, get out of here immediately!"

"Get out of this house! Get out of the Cooper family!"

In the huge living room, more than a dozen people stared at Eric in shock.

Not only had his women never seen him lose his temper, but even the Coopers were quite surprised.

"Shirley, when was the last time Eric did this?"

"I can't remember exactly, but it was at least five or six years ago."

"Heh. Looks like he's learned it."

The men loosened their grip, while the others held their mouths shut, and the group stood in two distinct rows.

Judy winked at Eric and licked her lips; she liked the different feeling.

"Look at you all, look at each and every one of you! Do you have even the slightest bit of self-awareness or sense of propriety?"

"Today is Christmas Eve. Tell me, what is the meaning of Christmas Eve?"

"You tell me!"

Mary rolled her eyes reluctantly, but still answered politely, "It's to be with my family."

"That's right, it's to reunite with family that's why I brought you all together."

"In my heart, you are all my family. I love you all, I love each and every one of you."

"This kind of love is selfless and inseparable."

"I would rather have none of this wealth than lose any of you."

"Because...that would make me suffer so much I couldn't breathe."

Eric made a moving confession, but it didn't seem to work well.

Although the group of five didn't seem to be arguing or fighting, they also didn't say anything, as if they were ignoring the man's words.

Seeing that they were completely unmoved, Eric thought that he still hadn't gotten enough of them and that he would have to use some extreme measures.

He looked at Nicole, the eldest of the group of five, who had gradually become like a mother to him over time.

Besides Theron, the younger Olsen sisters and Gadot are usually taken care of by her, so she needs to be used as a breakthrough point.

"Nico, darling, I know you always have."
