Douluo Continent: The Holy Evil Emperor.

Chapter 120 The Snow Empress announces a plane crash and dies on the spot.

After the thought crossed his mind, Ye Qing frowned.

"We can try to get it, but the timing has to be perfect. We have to be there when Huo Yuhao is making contact with Bei Bei and the others. We can do without the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm, but we must intercept Electrolux."

If Ye Qing remembered correctly, Huo Yuhao had to wait three more days after registering at Shrek Academy before the official start of the semester. Before that, they spent another night outside the Star Dou Great Forest. In other words, they arrived at the outskirts of the Star Dou Great Forest four days before the start of the semester.

"Well, just to be on the safe side, I'll stake out the location a week in advance. It's worth spending a little more time for Electrolux!" Ye Qing made his decision after silently considering for a while.

No one will wait for you forever, except for Lao Liu!

This time, Ye Qing is going to be the sixth man to stake out Electrolux and get his hands on it!

at the same time--

……

The far north.

Deep within the core of the far north lies a valley crisscrossed with countless ice pillars and icy cones. This valley is extremely secluded, and normally no soul beasts would ever set foot here.

It's not just because the climate here is too harsh; the extreme cold is unbearable even for many soul beasts in the far north. More importantly, this is the territory of the Snow Emperor, the ruler of the far north.

No northern spirit beast would dare to offend the Snow Empress's majesty or set foot here without her summons, not even the other two of the three great kings of the far north.

Deep within the valley, the Snow Empress, the only one of her kind in the world, sat cross-legged on an ice platform. Before her, a snow lotus the size of a washbasin, its entire body displaying a gradient of blue and white, was emitting a soft glow.

The 100,000-year-old top-grade snow lotus has already been ranked among the immortal herbs, and its medicinal effects are in no way inferior to those 100,000-year-old immortal herbs in the Yin-Yang Well of Ice and Fire.

"Sigh..." After a long while, Xue Di opened her eyes. Her beautiful eyes, clearer than the sky and deeper than the sea, reflected the snow lotus in front of her. However, deep in her eyes, a hint of anger and resentment emerged.

"Heavenly Tribulation... Heavenly Tribulation!" The Snow Empress sneered, her voice filled with stubbornness and resentment. "Why must we soul beasts endure heavenly tribulations? Why can't we soul beasts ever become gods? I am clearly a child of the gods, and the far north is clearly a vassal state of the Ice God!"

Her soul core, already riddled with cracks, struggled to function. This was a backlash from the Snow Empress's forced condensation of a second soul core that complemented Yin and Yang. The Snow Empress knew that her origin was damaged, and there was no hope left for the seventh Heavenly Tribulation.

Faced with the approaching Heavenly Tribulation, she could only passively wait for death, but this time she was very lucky and unexpectedly found this 100,000-year-old immortal snow lotus.

"With your power, I should be able to complete the process of sealing my origin and transform into human form," the Snow Emperor murmured softly, her eyes growing increasingly resolute. "Since soul beasts cannot become gods, then I will transform into a human and attempt to reach that unattainable realm!"

"If I am fortunate enough to become a god, then I will certainly demand an explanation from the divine realm: why can't my soul beast race become gods?!"

After making this vow, the Snow Empress grabbed the 100,000-year-old snow lotus in front of her and refined it instantly!

"ah!!!"

A sharp cry echoed through the valley. The snow lotus that the Snow Emperor had swallowed also took effect at this moment. Taking advantage of the snow lotus's medicinal effects, she seized the opportunity to begin sealing her own origin.

In the dazzling light, the Snow Empress's tall and perfect body gradually became illusory, and her immense power gradually compressed into a dazzling snow pill.

"Hoo... The source has been sealed, and I can begin to take human form." The Snow Emperor, who had become extremely ethereal, also had a strong sense of exhaustion on her face.

Ultimately, her true form was merely a spirit formed from ice and snow elements, no different from a pure energy being. This is why her process of sealing her origin was relatively smooth.

After a brief moment of rest, the Snow Empress opened her mouth and swallowed the Snow Pill in front of her. Her already illusory figure completely disappeared, and her soul merged into the Snow Pill, beginning to nurture a human body.

This process doesn't take long; it can be completed in a week at most.

A week, under normal circumstances, would be nothing compared to the Snow Empress's long lifespan, passing in the blink of an eye. But in the present moment, the Snow Empress felt as if each day was an eternity, watching her body irreversibly develop into a human form. As the day of successful transformation drew closer, the Snow Empress's heart grew increasingly tense.

As the saying goes, no one knows whether tomorrow or an accident will come first.

The same goes for Xue Di.

The seven-day transformation period was supposed to be over soon, but on the last day, just when her resistance had dropped to rock bottom, a transparent circular dome sealed her transformed embryo inside.

"Hahaha... I never expected my luck to be so good, that I would actually encounter a 100,000-year-old soul beast in the process of transforming!" A loud laugh filled with intense greed and ecstasy rang out.

Damn humans!

The Snow Empress, who had already been sealed away, was furious and wanted to fight back, but she was already sealed inside by the soul tool when she was at her weakest, and now she couldn't even self-destruct.

She is currently in the final stage of transforming into a human from an embryo. If she had done it a day earlier, she could have forcibly interrupted the transformation process and perished together with the human who destroyed her last hope. If she had done it a day later, she would have already been able to protect herself after successfully transforming.

But it just so happens to be today...

Filled with intense resentment and bitterness, the Snow Empress was finally successfully sealed away, transforming into a blue-white stream of energy, waiting in the Conferred God Platform. Once the Conferred God Platform is opened, whoever stands before her will bear the brunt of her boundless wrath.

As for why... this place, which is clearly the deepest part of the far north core circle, a forbidden zone of life that no human has dared to set foot in for thousands of years, has been visited by a level nine soul master today, and who happens to have the Conferred God Platform in his possession?

No one knows.

After retrieving the Conferred God Platform, this level-nine Soul Master looked at the Snow Emperor's embryo with intense greed in his eyes.

If he hadn't already reached the ninth level, he would have absorbed this 100,000-year-old soul beast embryo himself no matter what. However, he was so focused on researching soul tools in order to become a ninth-level soul master, and he never married or had any offspring, so he couldn't give this embryo to his descendants.

Then the only option is to sell it to obtain enough profit to research more soul tools.

It's definitely not feasible within the Sun Moon Empire. I used a lot of resources from Mingde Hall to become a level nine Soul Master, and considering past favors, this embryo certainly won't be able to bring me enough benefits.

If you were to sell them in Douluo Three Kingdoms, you could probably get enough to buy yourself a whole set of top-grade soul bones, right?

As long as one absorbs a soul bone of high enough quality, one may even have the opportunity to break through to level 95 and have the potential to become a level 10 Soul Master!

Soul bones are precisely what the Sun Moon Empire lacks most, while the Douluo Three Kingdoms possess an astonishing reserve of soul bones.

"I think next year's Soul Battle Tournament will be held in the Star Luo Empire? Heh, they'll probably be happy to pay a high price for the 100,000-year-old embryo in my possession, right?"

The ninth-level Soul Master gave a cold laugh and turned to walk towards the outside of the far north ice plains.

And just like that, right under the noses of all the northernmost spirit beasts, a level nine spirit master who wasn't even a Super Douluo easily took away their leader from the far north.

Snow Emperor announced that his plane crashed and was eliminated upon landing.

……

The last month passed quickly, and the holiday was just around the corner.

Ye Qing packed his bags and left Shrek City once again.

Of course, his destination this time was Xingluo City. Before heading to the Star Dou Great Forest to find the six-winged demon tiger to sacrifice to him, Ye Qing needed to go to Xingluo City. After all, Princess Jiujiu had been eagerly anticipating their once-a-year meeting, and Ye Qing felt it was better not to neglect this princess.

Next year is the Star Luo City Soul Battle Tournament from the original novel. In order to ensure that the Snow Empress Embryo can be obtained smoothly, Ye Qing has two objectives for going to the Star Luo Empire this time.

One reason was to find out whether the Snow Emperor's embryo had been sent to Xingluo City. The plan for the top-tier auction was definitely not something Xu Jiawei came up with on a whim; he must have already had the embryo before he came up with this plan.

Therefore, it is very likely that the Snow Emperor's embryo was sent to Xingluo City some time in advance. Regardless of whether this speculation is true or not, Ye Qing needs to test it out.

As for the second reason, even if the Snow Emperor's embryo had not yet been sent to Xingluo City, it would not prevent Ye Qing from going to Xu Jiujiu to exchange feelings and take some herbs to exchange for more gold soul coins, which could be used to purchase the Snow Emperor's embryo a year later.

In any case, Ye Qing would definitely not let go of this huge opportunity.

How powerful would a seventh spirit ring of 690,000 years make his martial spirit true body?

Ye Qing was really looking forward to it!
