Full-Time Magister: A Hellish Start, But the Shadow King

Chapter 149 Sunflower, Harvesting Battlefield Treasures!

"Eileen?" Cheng Xiao asked thoughtfully.

Eileen is the Grand Duchess of Victoria, the first in line to the throne!

The British royal family, under the Victorian leadership, is internationally renowned for its dragon training expertise.

The Grand Duke before us is destined to be the head of the royal family, a figure undoubtedly among the world's elite.

"Your teammates are working with other Nationalist team members to hunt down my team members. Even though you have no one behind you and no malicious intent, you are still my enemy."

Cheng Xiao asked, "Aren't you afraid I'll eliminate you by showing up in front of me like this?"

"People die for money, birds die for food, so it's only right that you eliminate me," Eileen said.

"Although I know I can't beat you, I still want to compete for the treasure there."

She pointed to the grove of trees shimmering with dazzling light in front of Cheng Xiao.

Even Grand Duke Eileen was tempted by this top-grade Light-elemental Soul Seed.

Eileen majored in water magic, minored in mind magic, and secondarily in light magic.

Cheng Xiao scanned her from head to toe, then said:

"I won't make things difficult for you; we'll compete fairly."

"Okay, thank you." Eileen smiled slightly.

""

Cheng Xiao didn't make things difficult for the Grand Duke, and led Bell straight into the woods.

..............................

The dense forest was originally dark, but the light emanating from each green tree dispelled the darkness.

Cheng Xiao followed the light source, but something felt off.

The grove wasn't very large; we reached its center in just a few minutes.

"The King is there!" Bell said, pointing ahead.

Looking up, you'll see a golden seed, like a golden elixir, floating two meters in the air.

The seed emitted an extremely strong light, and there was not a trace of darkness in the surrounding area.

Elemental seeds are themselves a huge source of energy, and their presence can affect an entire region, let alone a top-grade domain soul seed like this!

Every green tree in the forest radiated light, presumably influenced by this top-grade light-elemental domain soul seed.

Not far from the elemental seed, there is a mark branded with light energy—the mark of a battlefield treasure.

"Unexpectedly, this year's Battlefield Treasure is a top-grade Light-type Domain Soul Seed. The organizers are quite straightforward."

Cheng Xiao sighed in distress, "It's a pity that it didn't awaken the light element. This soul seed can only be used to exchange for resources."

Suddenly, the surrounding trees began to wriggle eerily.

One after another, the previously dormant and lifeless auras were instantly awakened!

Above the Light-type Supreme Domain Soul Seed, a large shadow was cast!

Cheng Xiao's expression remained unchanged as he looked up.

The creature resembled a giant sunflower, its golden petals like fragments of the sun, radiating a blindingly bright light.

Strangely, the densely packed stamens seemed to writhe like demonic insects, forming a sinister-looking face.

"Sunflower?" Cheng Xiao couldn't help but think of this creature.

The Sunflower is a plant demon with the attribute of light, which strengthens itself by constantly absorbing light energy and life force.

They travel in groups and will center around the strongest one!

When it is hidden, the sunflower faces the sunlight, and its entire trunk blends into the earth, making it seem like a real forest.

Under normal circumstances, the hidden sunflower will not emit light energy.

When Cheng Xiao first saw that every tree in this jungle was emitting light, he thought it was due to the Soul Seed.

It now appears that these sunflowers are constantly absorbing the energy emitted by the top-grade light-elemental domain soul seeds.

"The Sunflower Tournament organizers would actually store a battlefield treasure in a place like that?" Pang Lai exclaimed in surprise.

"These sunflowers come in large groups. If we find them on the outskirts, it's not difficult for a few destruction mages to bombard them together."

"But what makes them terrifying is their extremely strong ability to camouflage. Once the prey crawls inside, there's no escape."

Speaker Shao Zheng paused for a moment, then said:

"This is a good test of a trainee's insight. If they fail to notice something, they will either be eliminated, or the only option is to use overwhelming power to completely dismantle the organization from within!"

"Neither Cheng Xiao nor that Grand Duchess Eileen seems to have noticed."

"Cheng Xiao doesn't need to worry. As for Grand Duchess Eileen, she'll probably be eliminated."

""

..............................

Inside the sunflower grove.

"I knew it! How could the organizers let someone find battlefield treasures so easily?" Cheng Xiao suddenly realized.

"Your Majesty, there are probably nearly a thousand of them in this forest, with five leaders. The strongest one should be this Great Leader!"

Bell stared at the face of the Demon Sunflower in the sky, eager to try.

It can be dealt with as long as Cheng Xiao gives the order!

"Don't waste time. There are still many treasures to be found. We need to hurry," Cheng Xiao said.

Then, several deep and terrifying dragon roars resounded.

The three shadow dragons and Kaiser simultaneously opened their mouths and unleashed terrifying, destructive dragon breath!

The nearby servant-level, warrior-level Sunflower Demons, and even the four commander-level demons were instantly reduced to ashes!

What was once a lush, green forest has been transformed in an instant into a ruined forest cleansed by the dragon's breath.

The great leader was remarkably resilient, barely surviving the dragon's breath, but it was on the verge of death.

Cheng Xiao was too lazy to pay attention to the dying commander.

He walked directly towards the Light Element Supreme Domain Soul Seed and used his Eye of Time and Space ability to collect it.

At that moment, a beautiful figure appeared nearby.

"I've succeeded, you're not included," Cheng Xiao said to her.

Eileen was wearing armored magical artifacts and clutching an unused defensive magical artifact in her hand, clearly having been badly tormented by the Sunflower Demon.

Surrounded by the Sunflower Demons, if it weren't for Eileen's immense wealth and numerous magical artifacts, anyone else would have been eliminated long ago.

"These are your undead beasts?!" Eileen asked, looking at the four giant dragons behind Cheng Xiao.

"Yes, is there a problem?" Cheng Xiao nodded.

"Isn't that a foul?" Eileen continued to ask.

"Why is it considered a foul?" Cheng Xiao asked.

"The rule only prohibits your Victoria's tamed dragons, not my undead dragons."

Eileen's mouth opened slightly, as if she wanted to say something, but she didn't know where to begin.

There are many limitations to the competition between universities, especially for families like the Victorian family behind Eileen.

Eileen comes from an internationally renowned dragon-training family. If she weren't bound by the rules, she'd probably have several sub-dragons following her around.

Of course, the rules only prohibit tamed dragons from appearing on the battlefield; they do not prohibit players who possess dragon species from summoning them.

Cheng Xiao's undead dragon is essentially the same as a summoner's contracted beast and summoned beast, which is within the reasonable range.

But Cheng Xiao pulled out four dragons at once, which was too exaggerated, making Grand Duke Eileen subconsciously think that Cheng Xiao was cheating.

You should know that it takes a lot of effort from others to raise such a dragon.

Cheng Xiao is already strong, and there are four of these undead dragons!
