Douluo Continent: Martial Soul Thunder Dragon, A Century of Glory

Chapter 21 The Elephant Armor Sect Finds Its Backer

"As for you," Yu turned her gaze to Yun Yibai.

"I heard that you left the sect a few years ago and went to Aunt Erlong's Blue Tyrant Academy." Yu Tianxin was about the same age as Yun Yibai. He came to Thunder Academy when he was eleven years old, so he only heard about Yun Yibai's decision to leave the Blue Lightning Tyrant Sect later.

"I had high hopes for you back then!"

"I just don't know if you're still worthy of my respect now?"

Yun Yibai: "We'll find out then!"

"What? Aren't you going to invite us in for a seat?"

Upon hearing this, Yu Tianxin stepped aside to let the two of them in.

The three sat in the room. Yun Yibai acted as if he were no outsider, having already made himself a cup of tea and also bringing some for the other two.

Yu Tianheng slumped on the sofa, took a sip of tea, and looked at Yu Tianxin, saying, "By the way, Yi Bai and I saw some unpleasant things after entering the city."

"What?" Yu Tianxin was somewhat different from Yu Tianheng. When not in combat, Yu Tianxin generally presented himself as a refined young nobleman. He slowly put down his teacup and replied.

Hmm! As expected of Yi Bai, it's very high quality!

"That's how it is..."

"..." Yu Tianheng told Yu Tianxin about the bullying and market manipulation he encountered by the Elephant Armor Academy on the way.

"Has Elephant Armor Academy always been like this?" Yu Tianheng didn't know much about Elephant Armor Academy, but he felt that Yu Tianxin should know more than him, because the other party was at Thunder Academy, which belonged to the five major elemental academies, and they would have more interaction.

Yu Tianxin: "This time, Xiangjia Academy is indeed very different." He is only fifteen years old, and to be honest, his understanding of Xiangjia Academy is only so-so, but Thunder Academy has veterans! The teacher leading the team this time has participated in the social gatherings of the five elemental academies more than once.

"According to the vice dean, Elephant Armor Academy was not usually this arrogant and domineering."

Yun Yibai chimed in, "There is no such thing as change without a reason in this world. The fact that they weren't so arrogant and domineering before proves that they didn't have enough confidence before."

"Yi Bai, are you saying that the reason Elephant Armor Academy dares to act this way is because they've found a powerful backer?"

Yu Tianheng thought that Elephant Armor Academy and Elephant Armor Sect had found a backer comparable to Blue Lightning Tyrant Sect.

As for the Elephant Armor Sect becoming a powerful force comparable to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Sect, Yu Tianheng didn't even consider it. The sect leader of the Elephant Armor Sect, Hu Yanzhen, was a Soul Douluo of level 80 or so, still some distance from becoming a Title Douluo.

"I was just stating one possibility!" Yun Yibai neither denied nor admitted it.

"Elephant Armor Academy! Ha! They have indeed been too arrogant lately!" Yu Tianxin scoffed.

The same hotel, eleventh floor.

"Grandpa, I've given all the instructions you gave me!" A burly young man with a sallow complexion and a single ponytail said, looking at the burly middle-aged man sitting upright on the sofa in front of him.

"But grandson, do you think we're going a bit too far now?" He said "now," not "later," which proves that he doesn't dislike this kind of thing.

"Haha, Li'er, if I don't make a big show of it, how can I let them see our sincerity and loyalty to them?"

"Wouldn't this completely offend the other elemental academies?"

"Hehehe, didn't we tell you already! The only one I'm truly wary of here is the Blue Lightning Tyrant Sect behind Thunder Academy. The other academies are nothing but chickens and dogs."

"Wait a while, and even if it's the Blue Lightning Tyrant Sect, what can they do? Hmph!" Hu Yanzhen snorted coldly.

"Now is the time for my Elephant Armor Sect to pledge our loyalty to His Holiness the Pope of the Spirit Hall."

"If we can gain the Pope's favor, perhaps our Elephant Armor Sect can also get a glimpse of the position of the Upper Three Sects."

"Li'er, in this competition among the five major elemental academies, you must show the style of Elephant Armor Academy and Elephant Armor Sect."

"Yes, Grandpa!" Hu Yanli clenched his fists.

Meanwhile, Yu Tianheng, Yun Yibai, and Yu Tianxin had almost finished catching up.

"Let's go! I'll take you to meet the rest of the Thunder Academy's official participants."

Yu Tianxin then led the two to several rooms, finally arriving at a conference room where Yu Tianheng, Yi Yunbai, and the people from Thunder Academy were gathered.

Yu Tianxin first looked at the Thunder Academy's side, "The academy had told us before that two people would be participating in this joint social event of the five academies."

"This is my cousin, Yu Tianheng, and my other cousin, Yun Yibai."

"Their martial souls are all Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex."

The people from Thunder Academy nodded slightly upon hearing this. They knew the real reason behind this matter: the academy had sent someone down to gain experience and prestige.

What can they do about this? They're just small fry; they can only let it be.

I'm currently reading the error-free version! This is the first time I've published this novel.

"Hello everyone, I am Yu Tianheng, a level 33 offensive-type Battle Soul Master."

"Yun Yibai! Level 33 Power Attack Type Battle Soul Master!"

"You've actually reached level 33?" Yu Tianheng was shocked. He had asked Yun Yibai about his soul power before, but the other party just wouldn't tell him.

Yun Yi rolled his eyes at Yu Tianheng. He hadn't told Yu Tianheng before because he didn't want to, but now he was letting the people of Thunder Academy know that he was no weakling, much less someone to be trifled with. In short, don't underestimate him.

Upon hearing Yun Yibai's words, Yu Tianxin was also startled. He was fifteen years old this year and his soul power was level 36, which was the result of his hard work.

But his cousin, who was more than two years younger than him and whose innate soul power was also lower, was almost catching up with him.

The other students at Thunder Academy didn't know Yu Tianheng and Yun Yibai; they only thought that the two of them were geniuses from the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan.

"Hello!" Following Yun Yibai and Yu Tianheng, a person stood up from the Thunder Academy side.

"I am the team leader from Thunder Academy for this Five Elements Academy Friendship Meeting. My name is Minglang, I am 21 years old, a level 42 Power Attack Type Battle Soul Master, and my Martial Soul is the Yaksha Thunder Eagle. Including the one sitting below, Thunder Academy has officially sent ten students this time."

"Hello, I am Chen Enze,..."

"..."

The remaining people then introduced themselves.

"Captain Minglang, could you tell us about the past events of the joint friendship between the five elemental academies?" Yun Yibai asked Minglang.

"That's certainly not a problem."

"Within the Heaven Dou Empire, since the establishment of the Five Elemental Academies, the joint activities of the Five Elemental Academies have continued for many years."

"The so-called social gathering is actually just the various elemental colleges showing off their strength to each other."
