Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 334 Exclusive Achievement List (Third Update! Requesting Monthly Tickets!)

The ceremony for the succession of the Water Shadow lasted for a full day.

Aside from the initial high-profile appearance of Tachibana Kenkawa, who officially took over as the Fourth Mizukage, this section...

Afterwards, he and Elder Yuanshi gave a general explanation of the future fourth generation's governing policy, which was a small gesture to save face for the envoys of various forces.

However, due to this Fourth Shinobi World War, Tachibana Kenkawa himself has extremely high prestige among both ninjas and ordinary civilians.

Therefore, these rather boring topics did not last long.

The remaining time was dedicated to the collective celebration of the entire Hidden Mist Village.

Of course, the food, drinks, and entertainment at the celebration are things that only ordinary people can enjoy.

The newly appointed Mizukage, Tachibana Kanagawa, has been busy entertaining envoys from various factions.

Whether it's discussing cooperation or simply maintaining a relationship.

After a busy day, Tachibana Kanakawa, the protagonist of today's celebration, finally had a chance to rest.

"Sigh, this feels like a wedding. It's supposed to be my big day, but I've been busy with social engagements all day."

Jianchuan Ju sighed silently in exasperation, but still unconsciously maintained a stiff smile on her face.

After bidding farewell to Elder Yuan, he dragged his heavy steps and returned home with Lanzi.

Fortunately, his new house as the fourth Mizukage was near the Mizukage Building.

The journey home wasn't too far.

Upon opening the door and looking at the somewhat unfamiliar furnishings, Tachibana Kanakawa sighed again.

"So, after a lively celebration, they dragged their tired bodies back to the bridal chamber? This feels more like a wedding!"

Looking at Lanzi, who had returned to her new home with her, Jianchuan Ju sighed and wiped all these messy thoughts from her mind.

But now is not the time for him to rest.

Today, after officially becoming the Mizukage, Tachibana Kenkawa has unlocked a brand new achievement.

Because he had been busy and the circumstances of this achievement were somewhat special, Tachibana Kanagawa only had time to check the details after returning home.

[Ding! Become a Shadow, unlocking the achievement 'Balance is just a lie!']

Although the name of the achievement still leaves Jianchuan Ju speechless, the reward it provides is the most important thing.

He was first rewarded with 300 gold coins for this achievement.

Although it's the same amount as when I became a Jonin, I estimate that this should be the maximum amount of gold coins I can get.

Jianchuan Ju, who had been accumulating gold coins for a month, just drew the skill [Flash] from the normal type prize pool. The achievement reward of 300 gold coins allowed him to draw the prize pool much earlier.

The reason I went to pull from the "Normal Type UP Banner" that I used to despise is mainly because I value its wide variety of special skills.

After all, among the other prize pools, I haven't really seen any abilities that can counter White Zetsu.

On the contrary, in this ridiculous prize pool of Normal-type characters, there are many skills like "Mind's Eye" and "Insight". Although the skill descriptions are not yet available, they are highly likely to be able to counter White Zetsu's "Disguise Technique".

The first time I drew the skill "Flash," although it can't be used against White Zetsu, it might be somewhat useful against Obito Uchiha.

This offered some consolation to Tachibana Kanakawa, who hadn't held out much hope due to the chaotic prize pool.

【Technique Learning Item: Flash】(Purple Item: Non-elemental Ninjutsu. After performing the hand seals and releasing the ninjutsu, a dazzling light is created, causing the enemy to be temporarily blinded.)

This move is somewhat similar to the ninjutsu "Lightning Release Genjutsu * Lightning Illusion Lightning Pillar" from the original work, and it should be able to give Obito Uchiha a big surprise when they meet next time.

Additionally, it might be because "Kage" is already the highest rank in the ninja hierarchy.

This achievement brought him more than just a gold coin reward.

Jianchuan Ju originally thought that the achievement would at most trigger a new 'limited-time event UP pool', but he didn't expect the system to directly open a brand new 'Shadow-exclusive achievement list' for him.

Jianchuan Ju carefully browsed through the newly added section on the system panel, her heart seemingly skipping a beat.

"Good heavens, this isn't an achievement list, it's practically a guide to earning gold coins!"

Unlike the previous achievement list, which was full of question marks and hidden details.

This time, the "Shadow Exclusive Achievement List" clearly marks the achievement rewards and conditions for completion.

The achievements are listed in a dense, dozens of pages.

Small rewards, ranging from a few gold coins each, such as "Dispatch 10 missions", "Your subordinate ninja completes 5 missions of a certain level", or "A new genin is added to the village".

The prizes range from those worth tens of gold coins, such as "forming an alliance with a ninja village," "building a new ninja academy," and "adding a new bloodline clan to the village."

The variety of jujubes was dazzling, making one's mouth water.

Moreover, following the pattern of the previous system, once you complete achievements like "assign 10 tasks", there will inevitably be cumulative achievements like "assign 20 tasks" and "assign 50 tasks".

This immediately relieved Tachibana Kanagawa from the frustration of not being able to participate in ninja missions to earn gold coins after becoming the Mizukage.

Achievements are easier to trigger in the early game! I expect the next period will be a peak time for gold coin acquisition!

Even while scrolling through the panel list, Jianchuan Ju noticed that in the exclusive achievement list, which had only been open for less than a day, more than ten achievements had already been triggered once and turned into new achievements that had doubled in value.

"Yes, these achievements were mostly due to afternoon social engagements and the village's own development."

Thinking about all the hard work and social engagements before, Jianchuan Ju was overjoyed to have finally reaped some rewards and collected them one by one.

In an instant, the number of gold coins he held increased by hundreds.

Before this, for Kanakawa Tachibana...

Gold Coin Acquisition = Lottery Draw = Personal Strength Improvement

However, now that we have this "Shadow-Exclusive Achievement List", things are slightly different.

Developing the village = triggering achievements = earning gold coins

The new equation is thus established.

Developing the village equals enhancing one's own strength!

Thinking about how he, the Fourth Mizukage, would only need to sit in the village while his subordinate ninjas worked hard on missions, allowing him to improve his strength, a smile involuntarily appeared on Tachibana Kenkawa's face.

Lanzi, who was tidying up the bedding, could only scratch his head helplessly when he saw his owner inexplicably showing a strange smile again.

However, she still quietly moved her little bed a little further away.

Unaware of the little frog's movements, Tachibana Kanagawa flipped through the pages several more times, checking the conditions for achieving each achievement.

In the end, the excitement of becoming the Water Shadow and the new way to acquire gold coins couldn't outweigh the exhaustion from a long day's work.

After calming down a bit, Tachibana Kenkawa finally fell into a deep sleep.

Unable to sleep due to insomnia, I decided to get up and write.

I figured I wouldn't keep any drafts saved up, so I'll just release this extra chapter now and make up for what I owed before. (I've made up for the two chapters I missed last time I took leave!)

However, I was a bit dazed while writing this, so there might be some typos or incoherent sentences. I'll revise it later.
