Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 354 System, please stop messing with me!

In the desert of the ancient Loulan Kingdom.

Kanakawa Tachibana folded its wings and slowly descended from the sky.

After continuous research by the sealing team on the "Flying Thunder God Seal," they finally succeeded in replicating its ability to seal the dragon vein some time ago.

The method to break the "Flying Thunder God Seal" was successfully cracked even earlier.

Overjoyed, Tachibana Kanakawa almost suspended all her work and devoted herself to learning the "Dragon Vein Sealing Technique".

Thanks to the knowledge imparted by the sealing-related skills extracted by the system time and time again.

In the past few days, Tachibana Kanakawa has finally mastered this custom sealing technique.

Having mastered the "Dragon Vein Sealing Technique," Tachibana Kanakawa no longer needs to worry about being unable to return after traveling through time.

After giving Elder Yuan a general overview of the situation,

Jianchuan Ju then resolutely came to the ancient kingdom of Loulan.

Looking at the Loulan capital, whose buildings were still relatively intact but were beginning to show signs of decay, Jianchuan Ju felt a little emotional.

"I never imagined that this place would turn out like this in less than two years."

When Jianchuan Ju last came to the ancient Loulan Kingdom.

Seemingly due to water shortages, all the residents here, including the Queen of Loulan, began to migrate outwards one after another.

When Tachibana Kenkawa arrived again, there wasn't a single living person to be found in the capital.

However, Tachibana Kenkawa was just making a casual remark.

The life and death of the people of the ancient Loulan Kingdom were of little concern to him. On the contrary, the fact that the dragon vein was unguarded made his actions much easier.

After adjusting the hood of her cloak, Tachibana Kenkawa continued to move through the empty royal capital.

A moment later, they arrived at the dragon vein seal located underground in the very center of the capital.

Looking at the sealing array in the center of the four stone statues on the huge circular platform in front of me.

Jianchuan Ju chuckled and stepped forward.

Take out a pre-prepared sealing scroll and lay it out.

Their hands formed intricate hand seals.

"Flying Thunder God Seal Released!"

After Tachibana Kanakawa covered the "Flying Thunder God Kunai" that was stuck in the very center of the magic circle.

The originally magnificent and intricate sealing runes immediately contracted inward and were guided into the sealing scroll through Kanagawa Tachibana's arm.

"Boom!"

Endless, dazzling purple dragon vein power rose up, transforming into a massive pillar of light shooting into the sky.

The purple beam of light enveloped Jianchuan Ju completely in an instant.

At this moment, he seemed to be in the middle of a raging torrent.

The sound of surging energy was incessant.

All that remained before my eyes was an endless expanse of purple light.

Knowing that she was traveling through time, Tachibana Kenkawa did not choose to resist, but let the torrent of the dragon vein crash against her.

It drifted downstream like a small boat.

The torrent's impact lasted for an unknown period of time before the purple light before Jianchuan Ju's eyes suddenly vanished.

He remained half-squatting in the same spot, as if he had never moved an inch. Although his expression was momentarily dazed, he quickly recovered.

It wasn't until she saw the room, which had originally been covered in broken bricks, that she realized it looked as if it had been renovated and showed no signs of decay.

"Success!"

Looking at the scene before her, Tachibana Kenkawa was certain that she had successfully returned to the past.

At the same time, he heard a system notification.

[Ding! Successfully traveled to a parallel universe for the first time, unlocking the achievement 'Brave the Lostbelt!']

[Ding! The limited-time event gacha pool 'Time-Space Twin Dragons UP Pool' has been opened. The pool will close after the event ends.]

The two unexpected notifications interrupted Jianchuan Ju's joy.

Both of these hints were bombshells for him.

Looking at the first achievement notification, Jianchuan Ju frowned and fell into deep thought.

"How can it be a parallel universe?!?!"

Looking at the surrounding walls, Jianchuan Ju was clearly still in the Dragon Vein Secret Chamber of the ancient Loulan Kingdom.

The fading of the marks of time on it also indicates that it has indeed returned to the past.

The purpose of Jianchuan Ju's trip was simply to go back to the past, find a secluded place to cultivate quietly, and accumulate gold coins.

Furthermore, while rapidly improving one's own capabilities, one should minimize the impact on the past to avoid altering the future.

However, the system's prompts now clearly tell me that this is not just the 'past'.

Or is it a "parallel universe"?

Jianchuan Ju rubbed her temples, feeling a bit of a headache.

"Parallel universes are a good thing; at least whatever I do shouldn't affect the future of the original world."

"but."

What really gave Jianchuan Ju a headache was the name of the system achievements.

Brave the Lostbelt!

"Damn it, even though I've never played the Fate series, I still know about Lostbelts, that famous thing!"

The most classic setting in the Fate series of games is the parallel universe. The development of each different universe may be roughly the same, but the subtle differences are always subtle and ambiguous.

The term "Losers" refers to those in general.

The history of losers based on wrong choices and wrong prosperity, or even parallel worlds where they are abandoned by the world consciousness and driven to a dead end.

Such erroneous histories not only represent different developmental processes, but also often foreshadow enormous troubles.

"System, stop messing with me!"

Tachibana Kanagawa is completely unaware of the parallel universe she is in.

All we can do is pray silently.

Hopefully, the achievement names in this system will be the same as before, just a joke or a meme.

Otherwise, a perfectly good secluded cultivation journey could suddenly turn into a full-blown fight or something, which is a real headache just thinking about.

He might as well just reseal the dragon vein now and return to the original timeline immediately.

After calming down a bit, I temporarily put aside my worries.

Jianchuan Ju reopened the "Limited-Time Event Prize Pool" on the system panel, which hadn't appeared for a long time.

The name of this limited-time event, "Time and Space Twin Dragons UP Pool," has already made Tachibana Kanakawa look forward to it.

"If this were something good, it would at least offer some comfort to my fragile little heart."

When his gaze fell upon the event schedule, Jianchuan Ju was even more satisfied, and a smile appeared on his lips.

"Ugh~ It's a 30-day limited-time prize pool."

Including the 300 gold coins rewarded by the achievement "Brave the Lostbelt!", and the gold coins she has saved up while learning sealing techniques these days, Jianchuan Tachibana might be able to collect enough for two 10-pulls in these 30 days.

However, just as he was about to continue to open the details of the prize pool.

When you look at what prizes are in this so-called "Time and Space Twin Dragons Limited-Time Pool".

Suddenly, a series of footsteps came from outside the secret room.

"Pat-pat~ Pat-pat~"

"Hurry! Hurry! The Queen has sounded the alarm! Someone has triggered the dragon vein! Everyone, accelerate and surround the secret chamber!"

"Quickly! Everyone stay alert!"

Upon hearing the sounds outside, Jianchuan Ju's expression shifted slightly.

However, they ultimately gave up on the idea of capturing someone within the ancient Loulan Kingdom to learn about this timeline.

After all, if they want to return to their original timeline, they will need to continue to rely on the dragon veins here.

Creating too much trouble will not benefit your future activities.

Thinking of this, Tachibana Kanagawa pulled the hood of her cloak back over her head.

He formed a hand seal and quickly sank into the shadows beneath his feet.

In the original story, every time someone travels through time, they have to seal their memories, supposedly to avoid affecting the timeline, which seems pretty absurd.

If you've already done the work, and then you lose your memory of it, does that mean it has no impact?

Most importantly, not only are the memories of people from the past timeline sealed, but those from the future must also be sealed.

Could it be that if a person from the future has memories of traveling back to the past, they could influence the development of the past or the future?

I don't understand what kind of brain circuit this is.

(What's even more interesting is that not all the people from the past were sealed away; only the memories of the main storyline characters were sealed away, making them mere extras with zero impact on the world.)

PS: I revised these two chapters several times, afraid that the chapter order problem would occur again, so I changed it to 00:02 and released it.

This will most likely continue to happen in the future, so those of you who are following along at specific points should take note.
