Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 463 Tri-Force

"No need, I'm already here!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Qing landed right beside everyone.

What followed closely was...

"Swish swish swish swish~"

Nine ninjas, whose equipment was rather strange and who generally appeared to be older, also landed quickly and stood behind Qing.

The garrison has issued the highest level of alert. Although they were not clear about what had happened before, they are currently the 'highest fighting force' in Kirigakure.

How could Qing possibly stay obediently in the Water Shadow Building and wait for his subordinates to come and report?

He only briefly greeted Elder Yuan before rushing over with the new troops he was inspecting.

After glancing at the densely packed puppet army in the distance, Qing didn't waste any words and directly took over the command of the scene.

Looking at the other scattered ninjas who had rushed over because of the alarm, Ao quickly gave the order.

"It will take some time for the main force in the village to assemble. Everyone, step back and guard the entrance while awaiting orders."

"Three units, intercept the enemy's advance with all their might!"

Having said that, Qing stepped forward.

The nine strangely equipped, older ninjas following behind him also kept pace.

This new squad, which Jianchuan Ju named the "Three-Item Force," actually came from the former "Four Celestial Beings."

When Tachibana Kanagawa was still a genin, he once carried out a mission to investigate smuggling in Takumi Village.

They had previously fought against the "Four Celestial Beings" who possessed special equipment.

After that, all four weapon blueprints of the Four Heavenly Elephants had actually fallen into the hands of Kirigakure.

The damaged "Peacock Flying Twin Swords" were even forged into the "Divine Spear," the signature weapon of Tachibana Kanagawa.

However, these four weapons are expensive to manufacture and are a type of amplification magic artifact.

If an ordinary ninja obtains this weapon, the power of their techniques may be enhanced for a short period of time.

However, it is easy to become dependent on weapons, making it difficult to improve one's own strength, just like Caique and Baogui back then, who were easily defeated by a few genin.

Therefore, the Third Mizukage and Elder Genji at the time did not attach much importance to this blueprint.

It wasn't until Tachibana Kenkawa succeeded as Mizukage that he picked up the blueprints again.

Although the problem of high costs still exists, with war reparations and cooperation with daimyo, the beverage factory and newspaper are now on the right track, and the tax revenue from Mist City has begun to support Mist Village.

Therefore, the Hidden Mist Village could still scrape together the funds for a small-scale operation if they gritted their teeth.

As for the issue of weapon dependence, Tachibana Kenkawa directly chose middle-aged ninjas who had been injured and retired and lost their ninja qualifications.

Tachibana Kenkawa personally healed their injuries and invited them to join the "Triathlon Unit".

These people have guaranteed combat experience, basic strength, and even chakra reserves.

Because of past injuries and age, it's difficult for him to improve his strength further, so he doesn't have any concerns about weapon dependence.

The current captain of this squad is none other than Terumi Mei's father, Terumi Hideyuki.

A Jonin who once retired due to injury, but was still able to independently research bloodline limit fusion and help Mei Terumi successfully develop two new bloodline limits.

As for why this unit is called "Three Symbols" instead of "Four Symbols"...

The three soldiers before them wore "Infinite Hole Armor" that could absorb chakra attacks, held "Peacock Flying Sword" in their left hands that could control and create gales, and "Black Tortoise Firelight Sword" in their right hands that could spew flames.

As for the last of the Four Symbols, the "Dragon Eye Fang Dark Blade" which has the ability to extend and retract, Jianchuan Ju didn't equip them with it at all.

And right now, this heavily invested "pay-to-win team" is making its debut.

With Qing's command, the nine members of the three units lined up in an arc, and then all of them swung their twin swords forward in unison.

He swung out his right hand, the "Mysterious Tortoise Firelight Sword," first.

The raging fire dragon spewed out instantly, turning everything within sight outside Kirigakure into a sea of fire.

However, this is not the end.

Immediately afterwards, the 'Peacock Flying Sword' in his left hand followed up.

Because it is only equipped with a single peacock sword, its moves may be a little monotonous, but its ability to control the wind is by no means diminished.

The total chakra of the ninjas that Tachibana Kenkawa carefully selected for retraining is far greater than that of Caique, who was barely able to be a genin without a weapon.

The endless gale instantly transformed into a raging giant tornado, surging into the sea of fire before them.

The wind fanned the flames, and the fire moved with the wind.

In the blink of an eye, nine enormous fiery tornadoes shot into the sky and rolled toward the slowly advancing undead legion.

The power of the techniques unleashed by these nine members of the Three-Forces was in no way inferior to the powerful combination ninjutsu unleashed at full strength by an ordinary Jonin.

The chakra consumed by these two swings was negligible for these nine people.

They also ignored the consequences of the previous attacks.

The three units were ordered to "intercept the enemy with all their might," so they just casually waved their arms a couple of times. What kind of all-out interception is that?

The nine people exchanged glances, and a smile that was both excited and somewhat ferocious appeared on their faces at the same time.

Followed by.

The nine people began to swing their arms continuously.

Giant fire tornadoes roared forward one after another.

The entire sky was instantly dyed crimson by the raging flames that blotted out the sun.

With just nine people, they created the power of a thousand ninjas taking turns to unleash legion ninjutsu.

Perhaps in the eyes of a true powerhouse, the combined ninjutsu of thousands of ninja troops is nothing more than an ordinary thing that can be easily countered by a single "Great Fire Annihilation".

But at this moment, the endless heat wave in front of them still forced the remaining Kirigakure ninja behind them to retreat one after another.

Everyone, including Qing, stared wide-eyed in disbelief at the boundless flames before them.

Even the thousands of Hidden Mist ninja who arrived later did not offer to help fight the enemy.

They all stayed obediently in the back, watching the hellish scene created by the nine middle-aged men in front of them.

Many people had the same idea pop into their minds.

"With a fire-style attack of this scale, is this still Kirigakure?"

Ao was originally planning to transform into his tailed beast form and cooperate with the three units to attack.

Then he glanced at the 'Greatsword* Samehada' in his hand and secretly swallowed.

Now he understood why those old men had looked at him with that expression when he tried to test the power of the three units in the village.

It was only because Terumi Hideyuki was his former boss that he didn't openly mock him on the spot.

Looking at the raging inferno before him, Qing thought to himself.

"This hand is in the bag. Looks like we won't need the trump card that Tachibana kept."
