Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 470 Intelligence is the winning piece of the puzzle

On the stands of the Joint Chunin Exams examination hall.

Minato Namikaze, who had been smiling as he watched Shisui Uchiha prepare to enter, suddenly turned around as if sensing something.

There he was, sitting with his legs crossed and a half-smile on his face next to him.

Several faintly glowing blue feathers seemed to be slowly dissipating from its body.

Of course, the Mizukage's clone had been sitting there all along, and the only change was in his posture, so it shouldn't have surprised him.

But the shattered ice beneath the other's feet seemed to prove that the person before him had been replaced by his original body.

"How did he do that? Could it be that this Mizukage also possesses some kind of space-time ninjutsu?"

The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, was an outstanding sensory ninja.

Even without actively activating his sensory ninjutsu, he didn't quite believe that someone could walk past him silently until they replaced his original clone before he noticed them.

The seemingly illusory blue feathers and the rapidly melting ice fragments on the ground also serve as proof.

The other party had indeed just returned and disbanded his signature "ice clone".

"An illusion? It doesn't seem quite like it."

Minato Namikaze frowned, lost in thought.

Tachibana Kanagawa's sudden and simple trick made him realize once again how unfathomable the young Mizukage's strength was.

On the other hand, it was only then that Fengying Luosha belatedly turned around and looked over.

Somewhat puzzled, Rasa followed Minato Namikaze's gaze and saw a puddle of water in front of Tachibana Kenkawa. He immediately frowned slightly, just like Minato.

"What trick is this guy up to now? A water clone?"

Tachibana Kanagawa, who was secretly chuckling to herself, naturally wouldn't tell the two bewildered guys.

He painstakingly created a clone to release "white mist" to shield his senses, added "feather dance" to obscure his vision, then used "spirit attack" to reposition himself, and finally deactivated the clone to change his location.

All that trouble was just to suddenly appear and scare them.

"Minato's senses are really sharp, aren't they?"

Even though Tachibana Kenkawa's original intention was just a sudden whim to pull this stunt, he was still too close to the other party and ultimately failed to perfectly conceal his position switch, which left him somewhat disappointed.

Pretending to ignore their gazes, Tachibana Kenkawa regrouped and put away her playful thoughts.

While receiving feedback from his clone about the previous match, he looked seriously towards the arena below.

In the previous internal battle of Kirigakure, Ringo Ameyuri faced off against Guren.

In the end, Ringo Kobayashi did not let Tachibana down.

Although she was somewhat inferior to Guren in a large-scale battle, she ultimately managed to defeat her opponent with great difficulty by relying on her super speed and the "Lightning Release: Swallow Return" modified by Tachibana Kanagawa using the principles of "Lightning Release Chakra Mode".

Ringo Kobayashi's move was a tactic of overpowering all opponents with her superior speed.

It does resemble the style of Tachibana Kanagawa when she was younger (just kidding), and when her strength was relatively weak.

However, the little guy is still too young, and his talent in physical training is not very strong, so he is not yet able to directly learn the "Lightning Release Chakra Mode".

Otherwise, I reckon even with Shisui Uchiha at three tomoe level, Ringo would still have a chance to fight him.

Yes, in the final match of the semi-finals, it was Hozuki Mangetsu, one of Tachibana Kenkawa's own disciples, who faced off against Uchiha Shisui.

However, in his view, the actual winning rate of the full moon is not very high.

It's even quite possible that the final champion of this Chunin Exams will fall into Konoha's hands.

After all, the three-tomoe Sharingan is far too overpowered for these kids at the genin stage.

Of course, if battles could be decided solely by the strength on paper, there probably wouldn't be so many conflicts in the world.

So, with a hint of anticipation, Jianchuan Ju looked at the two boys standing opposite each other in the arena.

"You've had everything your teachers needed to teach you. Now, facing a formidable opponent, what are you going to do?"

At this moment, Hozuki Mangetsu, who was in the middle of the field, looked at Uchiha Shisui opposite him with a solemn expression.

Just now, Ringo Ameyuri won her battle.

And before that, there was Saigyouji Kabuto.

That guy said he surrendered because he ran out of chakra.

However, Hozuki Mangetsu was well aware that his clever teammate had placed the stakes on him.

Although I was the last person to be added as a disciple when I became a teacher.

But now that the other two teammates have done their part, Hozuki Mangetsu will naturally give it his all.

and!

"The teacher is watching me!"

For some, this immense pressure can be overwhelming, even leading to their complete breakdown.

But there are always a few people.

The immense pressure, however, brought them endless motivation.

As Haruyu announced the start of the match, Hozuki Mangetsu drew his short sword from his back without hesitation and charged towards Uchiha Shisui in front of him.

However, Uchiha Shisui, who had also been observing the battle of the other examinees, was well aware of how difficult this Hozuki clan boy was to deal with.

Without hesitation, he activated his three-tomoe Sharingan as soon as the battle began.

Uchiha Shisui stood motionless, his gaze fixed on Hozuki Mangetsu, who was charging towards him.

Seize the moment when the other person looks up and their eyes meet yours.

Uchiha Shisui's scarlet eyes suddenly widened in shock.

"Magic*Shackle Technique" activated!

The next moment, Hozuki Gengetsu, whose original form was still rushing forward rapidly, suddenly seemed to be bound to the spot by some invisible substance.

His body trembled incessantly, but he was completely unable to move an inch.

Even the short knife he was holding tightly fell to the ground with a clatter.

Upon seeing this, Uchiha Shisui breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Since the start of the Chunin Exams, he has been trying his best to avoid using genjutsu in combat.

The purpose was to hide this most proficient ability as a trump card.

As expected, the attack succeeded.

"Intelligence is the most crucial piece of the puzzle for a ninja to win!"

Looking at Hozuki Mangetsu, who was standing motionless in place, Shisui's eyes revealed a hint of indescribable pity.

Hozuki Mangetsu, who had launched a fierce attack, was now standing there dumbfounded, having even dropped his weapon.

This naturally aroused dissatisfaction among the spectators outside the venue.

"Hey! Kid!? Move a little!"

"What is this? It's over already?"

"Uchiha brat! Kill him!"

The audience, who had been looking forward to the semi-finals, were naturally not going to accept this result, and many even started throwing objects onto the field.

Seeing this, Uchiha Shisui looked somewhat helplessly in the direction of the examiner, Haruame.

Hopefully he will announce the results of the match as soon as possible.

To everyone's surprise, all they saw was Chunyu's expressionless face.
