Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 529 The Night of the Nine-Tailed Fox (Part Two)

Just as Uchiha Hikaru was struggling with his decision.

Suddenly, a barely perceptible sound of a knife tip piercing flesh came from beside me.

Uchiha Hikaru looked over, but only saw a Konoha ANBU member patrolling the area slowly fall to the ground.

In the air, only a few spiral-shaped spatial fluctuations were slowly dissipating.

next moment.

Behind another member of the Konoha ANBU, a spiral-shaped spatial fluctuation reappeared.

A figure dressed in a black robe with purple pupils and wearing a strange white mask appeared from the spatial fluctuations. With a casual slash, he cut the throat of the Konoha ANBU member in front of him.

However, this time, after eliminating the ANBU member, the figure in the white mask did not disappear again.

Instead, he slowly walked towards the stone house at the very center of the barrier.

Immediately afterwards, his figure seemed to pass through the stone house wall without any hindrance, as if he were a ghost.

"Hmm, it seems I don't need to do anything."

Although he was thinking this, Uchiha Hikaru did not immediately leave, his gaze still firmly fixed on the stone house in front of him.

I think I heard the sound of a baby crying.

Inside the stone house at this moment.

As soon as Obito Uchiha used Kamui to pass through the stone wall, he immediately saw two women in white robes with their backs to him, one of whom was holding a crying newborn baby.

At the same time, in the very center of the house, a burly, white-haired man with a righteous and hearty smile spoke up.

"Haha, Kushina, little Naruto is so cute. I'll have to hug him after I reinforce the seal for you."

However, before Jiraiya, with a big smile on his face, could place his hand on Kushina's abdomen.

Suddenly, I heard two 'thump' sounds in quick succession, the sound of a body falling to the ground.

Jiraiya's expression changed drastically, and he instantly turned his head to look.

Suddenly, someone silently snatched the newborn Naruto away and killed the two doctors who were delivering the baby.

"Lord Biwako! So kind!"

"Don't move!"

Obito Uchiha held the newborn Naruto in one arm and pressed a kunai against Naruto's forehead with the other, speaking slowly.

"Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin, heh heh."

"Get away from the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki immediately, or this child will only have one minute left to live!"

However, Jiraiya's eyes flashed with shock when he saw who it was.

"Rinnegan!"

However, he immediately suppressed this slight shock.

He knew that now was not the time to think about these things.

Despite being extremely anxious as he listened to Obito Uchiha's threats, Jiraiya remained completely unmoved.

Instead, he moved his palm a step closer to Kushina Uzumaki and said in a deep voice.

"So you're the guy who calls himself Uchiha Madara? Your purpose in stopping us is the Nine-Tails inside Kushina, right? If you dare to harm a single hair on that child's head, I'll kill Kushina immediately and make the Nine-Tails disappear as well!!"

As he spoke, a deep blue Rasengan suddenly appeared in Jiraiya's hand, which was hovering above Kushina's abdomen.

It emitted a series of ear-piercing "sizzling" sounds.

Jiraiya's action stunned not only Obito Uchiha, who was holding Naruto, but also Kushina Uzumaki, who was lying on the stone platform.

Although Obito Uchiha had met Jiraiya several times before he "sacrificed" himself.

However, he didn't know much about Jiraiya either.

For a moment, it was truly unclear whether this renowned one of the Three Legendary Sannin would abandon the newborn baby in order to protect Konoha.

However, the next moment.

"ah--"

A painful howl shattered the silence of the room.

Because the seal had not been reinforced after childbirth, the Nine-Tails inside Kushina's body was rapidly raging, and the seal runes were spreading rapidly around her, seemingly on the verge of complete collapse.

Obito Uchiha, who had been somewhat hesitant, immediately realized what was happening.

If Jiraiya had threatened to seal the Nine-Tails, he might have believed him to some extent, but the other party was talking about killing Kushina.

Upon seeing Jiraiya's slightly trembling arm, Obito Uchiha let out a disdainful sneer.

"Really? Then give it a try!"

As he spoke, Obito Uchiha suddenly raised his hand and threw Naruto, who was still in swaddling clothes, into the air. At the same time, he threw the kunai in his other hand at Naruto.

Jiraiya's expression changed drastically upon seeing this; he couldn't possibly teleport to Naruto's side before the kunai hit.

"Save Naruto!"

Seeing her newborn child's life hanging by a thread, Kushina Uzumaki let out a desperate howl.

Faced with such a critical moment, Jiraiya no longer cared about threatening the enemy in front of him.

He immediately dissipated the Rasengan in his hand and slammed his hands together to activate a ninjutsu.

"The Art of Disordering Lion's Mane!"

In an instant, Jiraiya's white hair seemed to come alive, dispersing into rapidly shooting tentacles that enveloped Naruto, who was thrown into mid-air, and Obito Uchiha, who was standing in place.

However, although Jiraiya's hair tentacle successfully wrapped around Naruto and blocked the flying kunai for him.

But the rest of the hair that surged toward Obito Uchiha seemed to merely brush against the air, all missing their mark.

On the contrary, Obito Uchiha was annoyed when he saw that even in this situation, Jiraiya had not left the side of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.

Fortunately, Jiraiya's hand had already left Kushina's side because he needed to form hand seals.

Taking advantage of the instant the "Lion's Mane Technique" left his body, Obito Uchiha decisively raised his hand.

"Shinra Tensei!"

An invisible force field surged forth instantly, striking Jiraiya with unstoppable force.

Without giving him any chance to resist, they blasted Jiraiya away.

With a loud "boom".

Jiraiya's back slammed straight into the wall behind him.

"Cough!" Blood welled up in his mouth, but Jiraiya forced it back down.

The intense impact did not interrupt his earlier release of the "Wild Lion's Mane Technique," and his hands remained tightly clasped together.

Jiraiya once again manipulated the scattered strands of hair.

The white hair tentacles that had been wrapped around Naruto gently retracted.

On the other side, new strands of hair shot out rapidly, enveloping Kushina in the vortex on the stone bed.

However, Obito Uchiha, who had already blasted Jiraiya away, was not about to watch him save Kushina Uzumaki.

He raised his left hand and aimed it at Kushina on the stone bed again.

"Universal Guidance!"

An invisible force field instantly pulled Kushina towards him at high speed.

At the same time, Obito Uchiha placed his free right hand in front of him, forming a hand seal, and looked at Jiraiya with a cold gaze.

"Heh, the three legendary Sannin, which one do you want to save?"

Seeing the enemy forming hand seals, Jiraiya's expression changed drastically. He immediately noticed Naruto, who was being pulled towards him by his hair, and a series of sizzling sounds came from the swaddling clothes.

On Naruto's swaddling clothes were several explosive tags that were emitting flames.

"Lord Jiraiya!"

Hearing Kushina's painful pleas from afar, Jiraiya knew perfectly well who this mother wanted him to protect.

Without the slightest hesitation, Jiraiya quickly wrapped Naruto's hair around his own and pulled it back to his front.

At the same time, his hands moved quickly.

He ripped off the swaddling clothes from the baby and threw him out quickly.

Followed by.

"Ninjutsu*Needle Jizo"

The surging white hair around Jiraiya instantly enveloped him and Naruto in his arms, protecting them firmly within.

next moment.

"Boom!"

The series of explosions and sparks made the entire stone house teeter on the verge of collapse.

When the flames died down.

Jiraiya, having dispelled his ninjutsu defense, looked again.

Where are Kushina Uzumaki and that enemy now?
