Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 547 Kisame's Sage Mode

Minato Namikaze ultimately did not refuse Tachibana Kanakawa's suggestion.

After all, Konoha now cannot do without him, the Hokage, whether it's post-disaster reconstruction or preventing a resurgence of the Zero Organization.

If peace talks weren't equally important, Minato Namikaze would probably never have left Konoha.

Minato Namikaze was naturally happy to be able to go and return early.

However, perhaps he felt it was too unsightly to be carried by the scruff of the neck by Tachibana Kenkawa while traveling through the sky, or perhaps Minato Namikaze simply looked down on Tachibana Kenkawa's flying speed.

In the end, Minato Namikaze chose to take Tachibana Kanagawa with him and used the Flying Thunder God seals he had left behind to teleport to the Konoha camp in the Land of Hot Springs.

Tachibana Kanagawa, who had been dragged along by Minato Namikaze the whole way, was extremely unwilling when they arrived at their destination.

"Hmph, little Minato Namikaze, he has no idea how rare and precious the ability of flight is!"

Of course, the so-called dissatisfaction was just a joke.

Ultimately, it stemmed from the resentment that Tachibana Kenkawa had expressed after failing to learn the "Flying Thunder God Technique" earlier.

As one of the few space-time ninjutsu that can be mastered through learning, the Flying Thunder God Technique does indeed require a certain level of spatial talent to attempt to learn.

If Jianchuan Ju had drawn the move "Sub-Void Slash" in the Dragon Vein World, it might have helped him overcome the learning threshold. However, "Time Roar" is a time-based move, so it doesn't offer much of a talent bonus in that area.

As for regular travel, since Jianchuan Ju still has the ability to fly and the "Mayfly Technique," she only tried the Flying Thunder God technique briefly. Seeing that it didn't work, she didn't continue to struggle with it.

Enough with the small talk.

Upon arriving back at the negotiation location in the Land of Hot Springs, Tachibana Kenkawa originally thought that the Kumogakure negotiation team would definitely make a big deal out of the fact that Konoha had just suffered an attack.

Offering even harsher negotiation terms to a weakened Konoha could easily lead to some unexpected trouble.

Tachibana Kanagawa even considered whether to take the opportunity to intimidate the Hidden Cloud Village, thus curbing Obito Uchiha's arrogance while further solidifying his image as a powerful figure.

Unexpectedly, the Cloud Village not only didn't mention the attack on Konoha at all, but they also stopped being as aggressive as they had been yesterday at the negotiating table.

On the contrary, they displayed the demeanor of a great power, and after simply finalizing a few conditions, they successfully signed a ceasefire treaty with Konoha.

Jianchuan Ju didn't believe that Uchiha Obito, who orchestrated the "Nine-Tails' Rebellion," would be unaware of Konoha's current predicament.

In this case, it is somewhat intriguing that the Hidden Cloud Village, which is already under Obito's control, did not make any effort at the negotiating table.

However, since these matters ultimately had little to do with Kirigakure, Tachibana Kenkawa did not delve any further into them.

After the two sides successfully reached a peace agreement, Tachibana Kenkawa simply said goodbye to Minato Namikaze and then set off back to Kisame Hoshigaki, who had just come out for a stroll but hadn't done anything.

"Let's go, Kisame. I'll give you some special training when we get back. Before the peacekeeping force is officially established, you must learn Sage Mode!"

"Uh, I understand, Mizukage-sama!"

"Kisame, isn't your Sage Mode a little off?"

Inside Kirigakure, in the Mizukage's private training ground, Kenkawa Tachibana.

Looking at Kisame Hoshigaki, who had successfully and stably entered Sage Mode for the first time, Tachibana Kenkawa covered his face, unable to bear to look.

At this time, more than a month had passed since the "Nine-Tails' rampage" in Konoha.

Perhaps it was because Konoha and Kumogakure had reached a ceasefire agreement, or perhaps it was because of the existence of the Zero Organization, a target that could be considered the public enemy of the ninja world.

The entire ninja world has been unusually calm for some time now.

Konoha, which had just suffered a major blow, was still silently licking its wounds.

Obito Uchiha's side has probably calmed down recently because they've acquired half of the Nine-Tails, and it seems they've entered a period of dormancy.

During this period, Tachibana Kenkawa naturally did not cause any more trouble. Apart from his daily work of accelerating the development of Kirigakure, he spent most of his time researching the popularization of Sage Mode.

However, since the core of Tachibana Kanagawa's "Water Release: Sage Mode" still relies on the unique ability brought by the golden characteristic of "Origin Sea".

Aside from Blue, who can perform a "Bond Evolution" with Tachibana, no one else can learn it.

Fortunately, with the help of Xiao Ji's "Fairy Wind", Jianchuan Tachibana had the opportunity to study reverse derivation, separate the Sage Mode ability, and teach it to other ordinary ninjas.

The most important participant in this study, or rather, the guinea pig, is none other than our "tailless tailed beast," Kisame Hoshigaki.

only.

"Why is the top of your head pointy?"

At this moment, Jianchuan Ju was speechless and facepalmed.

Speaking of Kisame Hoshigaki, his hair was originally styled in a way that resembled a pompadour, making it look pointed.

The result is that, perhaps because the Sage Mode he practiced referenced too much of Togekiss's "Fairy Wind" and he wasn't very proficient with it, he's not sure if it's because he's not very skilled with it.

After activating Sage Mode, three sharp horns, somewhat similar to those of Togekiss, sprouted on its forehead.

It pushed the Mist Concealment Headband that was originally worn on the head off.

And that's not all.

Even the unique feature that all Sage Mode characters possess—the face paint around his eyes—makes Kisame Hoshigaki stand out from the others.

It is neither the common reddish-brown oil paint of Kenkawa Tachibana, nor the green pattern of Senju Hashirama.

Instead, it's pink, which symbolizes the fairy attribute!

As a result, Kisame Hoshigaki, a tough guy who is over 1.9 meters tall, also has a shark-like face with light blue skin.

Starting from around its eyes, it was decorated with flashy, sparkly gold and pink paint.

It was so bad that no one present could bear to look at it.

Well, apart from the somewhat excited Xiao Ji.

At this moment, the little guy seemed to have seen its own kind, and it was flapping its little wings, excitedly circling around Kisame Hoshigaki's "pointed head" to examine it.

"Pfft~"

Zabuza and Mei Terumi, who could initially hold back their laughter at the sight of Kisame Hoshigaki in Sage Mode, finally couldn't help but burst out laughing when they saw Kichi flying next to Kisame for comparison.

However, Tachibana Kanagawa, the "teacher," wasn't going to tolerate them. She punched Zabuza twice on the head.

The sudden bulge caused Zabuza's head to enter "Sage Mode" as well.

"You still have the nerve to laugh! At least Kisame achieved Sage Mode! What about you?"
