Mizukage's Pokémon Ninja Scroll

Chapter 579 Immortal Technique*Mist Field

Kisame Hoshigaki's sudden appearance was clearly unexpected by everyone present.

The white-haired 'boy', who had just regained his vision from the blizzard whipped up by the combined ninjutsu of Crimson Lotus and Wind Heart, now had an extremely grim expression.

However, before he could say anything...

Kisame Hoshigaki then exerted force in his arm and yanked the bandage in his hand.

The immense brute force actually pulled the white-haired 'boy' directly over.

Although he was secretly annoyed that his bandages were too strong, the 'boy' hurriedly activated Steel Release again to harden his entire body.

"Clang~"

A resounding, tremor-like sound, like a giant hammer striking a bell, rang out.

Kisame Hoshigaki delivered a heavy punch to the 'boy's' cheek.

Even with the defensive advantage provided by Steel Release, the 'boy' was still sent flying backward by the powerful blow.

It only managed to stop its backward flight after it exploded into a cloud of snow on the ground.

But before he could even get up and retaliate...

"Swish, swish, swish~"

Dozens of peacekeeping troops arrived instantly, surrounding the entire battlefield without leaving any blind spots.

"Pooh!"

Spitting out the filth in his mouth, the white-haired 'boy' quickly got up and glared fiercely at the ninjas surrounding him.

"It was a trap? Using five bloodline geniuses as bait, your peacekeeping force really goes all out!!!"

Looking at the fierce-looking white-haired 'boy,' Kisame Hoshigaki waved his hand, signaling Guren and the others to step back behind him.

He crunched through the snow as he reached the encirclement, offering a calm critique.

"Hiruko, formerly a comrade of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, was exposed for conducting unauthorized human experiments on Konoha ninja and was classified as an S-rank rogue ninja by Konoha. She is now a full member of the Zero Organization, codenamed Blue!"

"Am I right?"

As Kisame Hoshigaki recited his information with great familiarity, Hiruko's expression kept changing.

Because he hated his lack of talent, he developed the "Demon Sprout Technique" through human experimentation, a secret technique that could devour the bloodline limits of others. When this was discovered by the Konoha higher-ups, he had no choice but to defect.

This matter might not be considered classified information for the Maintenance and Adjustment Force, which was originally a joint force of the five major ninja villages.

However, after being invited by the leader to join the Zero Organization, he improved the "Oni-Garuru Technique" and absorbed three different bloodline limits, which drastically changed his appearance.

This youthful body has never been shown to the world.

How could they possibly recognize me at first glance?!

"Furthermore, since this peacekeeping force knew to use a bloodline limit ninja to lure me out, they must have some understanding of my secret techniques. How is that possible?!"

"Could it be that bastard Wuming?! No, given her personality..."

Hiruko pondered in his mind where he had been exposed, while secretly moving backward.

Although he has now absorbed three different bloodline limits, he has abandoned the Storm Release recommended by the leader in order to seize the Ice Release bloodline limit, which is the "strongest in the ninja world," and he still lacks some offensive methods.

This is why, after Orochimaru gave him the information, he immediately risked coming in person.

"Could it be Orochimaru who betrayed me? But he helped me improve all my secret techniques, what would he gain from doing this?"

A sense of irritation flashed through my mind.

Kisame Hoshigaki has become quite famous in the ninja world in the past two years, and he has clearly come prepared this time. Hiruko is not prepared to confront him head-on.

Now all I can think about is how to get out of there safely.

However, Kisame Hoshigaki, watching him move backward step by step, did not react at all, just like a cat playing with a mouse, standing in place with his arms crossed.

Seeing this, Hiruko no longer hesitated and instantly activated the 'Swift Release' bloodline limit.

His speed immediately increased to its limit, leaving only a blur in his wake before rapidly retreating backward.

however.

With a loud bang.

They had only gone a little over ten meters.

As Hiruko was moving at high speed, it was as if it had crashed into an invisible wall, and it cried out in pain as it flew back to its original position.

"You don't think that the peacekeeping force has been deployed in such large numbers just to surround you, do you?"

Only when Kisame Hoshigaki's mockery reached his ears did Hiruko finally notice.

Suddenly, a transparent barrier, almost invisible to the naked eye, rose up around them.

Those ninjas he initially thought were just there to surround him were all crouching on the ground, doing their best to maintain the surrounding barrier.

Seeing that escape was no longer an option, a ruthless glint flashed in Hiruko's eyes.

"You forced me to do this!"

However, no sooner had he spoken than a change occurred in Kisame Hoshigaki on the other side.

Three horns protrude from his forehead, and pink masks appear around his eyes.

Just as Hiruko was looking for an opportunity to escape, Kisame Hoshigaki had already fused enough Sage Chakra and activated Sage Mode.

Since the precious "Natural Necklace" was returned to Tachibana Kenkawa long ago, Kisame Hoshigaki is currently unable to instantly enter Sage Mode.

Fortunately, after two years of training, his speed of integrating natural energy has been greatly improved.

Hiruko's refusal to launch an attack gave Kisame Hoshigaki the perfect opportunity to activate Sage Mode.

Moreover, Kisame Hoshigaki doesn't need to worry too much about the problem of insufficient fusion with natural energy, which leads to the short duration of Sage Mode.

Simply because...

"Celestial Magic*Mist Field!"

Kisame Hoshigaki rapidly formed hand seals.

A gentle breeze stirred, and the natural energy of heaven and earth rapidly gathered around him, gradually increasing in concentration.

In the blink of an eye, a thin layer of golden-pink natural energy mist rose from inside the barrier.

Feel the natural energy that, due to its extremely high concentration, is constantly fusing with the chakra within the body.

Kisame Hoshigaki stretched his limbs to his heart's content.

"Ready? What did you just say?"

"Never mind, it's not important. We'll talk about it after this is over."

Hearing the enemy's tone, which seemed to completely ignore him, Hiruko's pale face, hidden beneath his bandages, turned bluish-purple in turns, and he roared in fury.

"Go to hell!"

Hiruko activated his Swift Release Kekkei Genkai once more, and like an arrow, he charged towards Kisame Hoshigaki.

A soft popping sound was heard.

Hiruko originally wanted to catch the enemy off guard with the speed boost from Swift Escape, but unexpectedly, Kisame Hoshigaki caught the punch with ease.

Sage Mode not only enhances the power of your moves, but also grants you superhuman sensitivity.

Although he was slower than his opponent, Kisame Hoshigaki was not afraid at all in close combat.

Kisame Hoshigaki grinned and swung his arm with all his might, gripping Hiruko's fist tightly with his large hand.

"Boom!"
