Chapter 587 Awakening, A Different Kind of Kotoamatsukami

Although it is normal for people of the same clan to have some resemblance in appearance.

However, Shisui, being from the Uchiha clan, realized with some sadness that this was the case.

The people of their clan present were basically all direct blood relatives, such as fathers and sons or brothers.

These people actually wanted to use the death of their blood relatives to trigger the awakening of the Mangekyou Sharingan!

Did the Uchiha clan really have to go this far?

At this moment, Uchiha Shisui looked at the fanatical clansmen around him, but his heart was filled with sorrow.

However, Uchiha Yasuo's next words completely extinguished the sorrow and sympathy he had felt: "Unfortunately, it seems that one cannot awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan by taking matters into one's own hands."

Looking at the Eighth Hokage of Uchiha, who remained calm even as he spoke,

Zhi Shui felt a chill run down his spine, and fear and coldness instantly washed over him, causing his voice to tremble slightly.

"Ku...Ku-Ji, Ku-Ji...Could it be?!"

Looking at the trembling Uchiha Shisui before him, the Eighth Hokage showed no remorse or regret whatsoever. His eyes held only an almost manic obsession and a hint of... disappointment.

"All of this is merely a necessary sacrifice to rebuild the glory of the Uchiha clan."

He listened to the calm tone of Uchiha Yatsuho and looked around at the clansmen who showed no surprise whatsoever.

At this moment, Uchiha Shisui's eyes were bloodshot, and he roared furiously at these people, completely ignoring the bright red bloodstain that had been cut on his neck by the blade of Moonlight Gale.

"You're insane! You're all insane! You're all insane!!!"

The Eighth Hokage of the Uchiha clan was a few years older than Fugaku of the Uchiha clan, and he got married and had children much earlier than Fugaku, the clan head.

The "Kuji" that Uchiha Shisui just mentioned is Uchiha Kuji, who is the biological son of the Eighth Hokage Uchiha right in front of us.

In Uchiha Shisui's memory, the boy who was about the same age as him had average talent and a rather unlikable personality.

However, she always regarded her Jonin father as a source of pride, and her eyes were always filled with admiration and respect whenever she mentioned him.

However, Shisui now realizes this from the words of the Eighth Hokage.

This renowned Jonin of the Uchiha clan actually killed him with his own hands in order to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Despite such a heinous act, none of the other members of the tribe felt that it was inappropriate in the slightest.

At this moment, Uchiha Shisui felt as if he were shrouded in endless despair.

He seemed to have never hated his Uchiha clan as much as he did now.

At this moment, Uchiha Shisui only wanted to destroy all these twisted clansmen in front of him and escape from this despairing clan completely.

The Sharingan with its three tomoe that had faded before reappeared in his eyes.

The spinning that had been interrupted by Honglian's voice restarted once again.

The three magatama spun at their maximum speed in an instant, gradually turning into afterimages until they merged together.

It transforms into a very distorted triangular windmill shape.

This sudden turn of events clearly caught everyone present off guard.

However, the Eighth Hokage of Uchiha, standing right in front of Uchiha Shisui, showed no fear or loss of control despite the increased threat posed by Shisui's use of the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Instead, his eyes were filled with joy and fervor.

"Hahaha, another pair of Mangekyou Sharingan! As expected! Destiny is on my side! The Uchiha clan will surely rise again!!!"

Hearing Uchiha Hachimoku's unrestrained laughter, Uchiha Shisui, who was already on the verge of madness, felt even more desperate.

The triangular windmill that had just appeared in his left eye began to spin rapidly, and bright red blood kept flowing from his eye socket.

Just as the Uchiha clansmen around him were on high alert, they found that nothing seemed to have changed. But the next moment, Uchiha Shisui reached out and grabbed the blade that was pressed against his neck.

The sharp blade seemed to penetrate an invisible membrane, causing no harm to Uchiha Shisui's palm.

Shisui Uchiha pushed aside the blade in front of him, his eyes lifeless as he looked at the Eighth Hokage Uchiha before him, and took steps forward.

However, at this moment, Uchiha Yatsuho's eyes were still full of fanaticism, and he continued to persuade him without any regard for the consequences.

"Shisui, your awakening of the Mangekyou Sharingan proves the strength of the Uchiha clan! Come on! Join us in overthrowing those high-ranking officials of Konoha! You will surely become the Uchiha clan leader in the future, and perhaps even the first Hokage! Come on! Join us!"

When Shisui was recruited by the Eighth Hokage of the Uchiha clan, all he saw was endless coldness and deep disgust.

With his lips slightly parted, he softly uttered two words.

"Go to hell!"

Immediately, the windmill in his calm right eye also began to spin rapidly.

An endless repulsive force began to spread rapidly outwards.

The first to be hit was Uchiha Hachiman, who was blasted away by the powerful repulsive force.

It smashed through the wooden door behind it and slammed heavily onto the outer barrier.

Not only the Eighth Hokage of Uchiha, but the repulsive force surging from all directions instantly blasted everyone away, and even the room itself was blasted apart and collapsed.

Pieces of wood chips were embedded into the barrier, causing the semi-circular protective barrier to become deformed due to the pressure.

Since it was the first time using his Mangekyou Sharingan, Uchiha Shisui did not exercise precise control.

This attack not only sent the Uchiha ninjas surrounding them flying, but also Guren and the others who had been standing behind Uchiha Shisui.

Hearing the cries of pain from his teammates, Uchiha Shisui, who was almost insane, paused slightly.

Taking this opportunity, Uchiha Yatsuho, who was the first to be sent flying backward, suppressed the urge to cough up blood and shouted sharply.

"Activate the seal!"

As soon as he finished speaking, several figures sprang out from the surrounding ruins of houses.

Countless shuriken and kunai shot rapidly toward Uchiha Shisui, while four Uchiha clansmen immediately crouched down and quickly unfurled the sealing scrolls they had prepared beforehand.

However, when he saw the shuriken and kunai aimed at Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Hachiho's expression changed drastically.

"Don't hurt him!"

However, his reminder came a little too late.

One after another, kunai swords flew rapidly toward Shisui.

A bizarre scene unfolded.

As the high-speed flying kunai approached Uchiha Shisui, they began to gradually slow down.

As it approached the still skin, it moved as slowly as a tortoise crawl, eventually coming to a near standstill.

Fortunately, the sealing techniques activated by the other four people still worked.

The dense seal runes instantly covered his entire body.

Having just forcibly awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan, Uchiha Shisui, whose body was already under immense strain, collapsed and fainted on the spot due to the restrictions of the seal.
