Reborn in America, I'm serious about making money.

After leaving the movie theater, Zhang San took the car from the valet and left the theater. He arrived at Ye Zhimei's residence. On the way there, the two were not as cheerful and talkative as they had been on the way there. When they arrived, Zhang San did not open the car door for Ye Zhimei to get out.

He seemed to have made a huge decision, turned his head to Ye Zhimei's passenger seat, and said seriously, "There's something I haven't said: I'm actually a womanizer."

"Oh?"

"I'm telling you, I have three or four girlfriends, and I still have two or three around me right now," he continued. "I don't want to lie to you, you're the first woman to ask me out to the movies."

I'm sorry.

Zhang San opened the car door and watched her leave; after she went upstairs, Zhang San drove away. As he left, Ye Zhimei's figure appeared at the building entrance.

After watching the car drive away, she greeted the old gatekeeper a while later and went upstairs. Back in her room, she shared a room with another actress named Zhou Hong.

"Ah Mei, what's wrong..." He had come over excitedly to ask about the gossip, but seeing her dejected expression, he didn't know how to ask.

Ye Zhimei said somewhat dejectedly, "He said he's a womanizer with several girlfriends. Does that mean he's rejecting me? Or is it because of my past as a porn star that he doesn't like me?"

"Really? Someone could resist a beauty like you, especially with such a great figure?" She didn't believe it, so she was a little puzzled: "He's not lying, is he? Some men are just like that... I think you should let him prove it to you. If he really has three or four girlfriends, then you can give up on him."

"But you know, there aren't many men as honest as him anymore; if it were any other man, he would definitely get you first, play with your feelings, and then dump you or you would leave on your own once he discovers his philandering nature." Zhou Hong analyzed the situation logically, and then she suddenly said, "There aren't many men like that anymore. Even if they are philanderers, they are the kind of philanderers who are willing to think about women."

"Amei, I think we should just let it go. After all, he probably meant it sincerely, or maybe he's just using it as a pretext. But if you jump in, you might fall into his trap."

"What a pity..." Ye Zhimei sighed, not knowing what she was regretting.

"It's better to suffer sooner rather than later. If you end up competing with his girlfriends for his man, you'll be the one who suffers in the end."

She didn't sleep well that night.

Although Zhang San felt it was a pity, he didn't feel guilty. On the contrary, he felt that he was doing quite well. Although Ye Zhimei had plenty of food, at least his children wouldn't go hungry.

"Oh, you're back so early? Didn't you stay out overnight?" Rosamund Kwan was a little surprised to see Zhang San back so early, thinking he would be back later.

"I'm back right after the movie, what can I do?" she said, humming a little tune as she prepared to change her clothes.

When I came down again, it was already half an hour later.

"How's that girl?" Guan Meiren's question drew widespread attention in the living room; even the others lost interest in watching TV.

"That's good, but I confessed that I already have three other pets at home, so I declined."

"Hypocrite." After saying that, she went upstairs, not wanting to deal with this guy.

He glanced at the TV and found nothing interesting, so he decided to go to bed early. He needed to check on the progress of Universal Studios Hong Kong the next day.

The current location of Universal Studios Hong Kong is the same location that Zhang San's previous incarnation, Tissini, chose, and it's right next to the site where Hong Kong International Airport was built.

This international airport was built by Li Ka-shing of Cheung Kong Holdings, together with other Hong Kong tycoons and the Hong Kong government, through land reclamation. It is a dual-runway airport.

Furthermore, a highway was built from Kowloon Peninsula through Tsing Yi Island to Lantau Island, and many residences were built along the way on the western side of Tsing Yi Island and Lantau Island.

When it comes to land speculation and driving up housing prices, one has to mention the real estate tycoons in Hong Kong.

Places like Tsing Yi Island and Lantau Island are not suitable for living; there are no roads, and you have to take a boat. However, once this road is built, the land price on the island will rise.

As for Universal Studios buying land and moving in, that was also their doing. Only in this way can their properties on Tsing Yi Island and Lantau Island be sold well.

With an airport and an international amusement park, wouldn't the property prices skyrocket?

Zhang San once knew a news story about a well-known Hong Kong tycoon who donated a remote piece of land to the Hong Kong government to support the construction of a hospital, but he refused to accept it.

So, if you want to build a hospital, you have to build roads, right? Who will pay for the road construction? That's a very real question. And this road also needs to be bought, land needs to be acquired, and this land still belongs to this rich man.

If you calculate it that way, the cost would be extremely high.

Therefore, things that are free are often very expensive. Zhang San knew this, which is why he admired them.

I learned from Boss Liu that when MCA Global Hong Kong Company submitted its application, no one intended to sell the land or care about it; however, the people involved in the construction of the airport found out about it.

As for how they knew?

When Governor Pang took office, he purged some people, all of whom were the richest man in Hong Kong, causing him to lose his years of hard work in one fell swoop. But, it doesn't matter if it's gone, can it be rebuilt?

Hong Kong's tycoons aren't short of money!

They sensed an opportunity had arrived and immediately pushed forward with the application, smoothing things over with all parties involved. However, the land price couldn't be cheap; HK$1.5 billion was the minimum.

That's how Universal Studios came to be located in Hong Kong.

In Zhang San's opinion, it was good to hang out with the big boss Liu, since he had many powerful connections and a very strong network of relationships.

He organized the information and plans to go take a look tomorrow.

That night, he went to bed early by himself. When a man is busy with his career, reason will suppress emotion. After washing up, he quickly fell asleep.

Guan Meiren, who was in another room, thought he would come over. She waited for an hour or two, but Zhang San didn't come. She knew that this stinky man must have gone to sleep with someone else.

"You jerk, you win!"

After saying that, she went to bed early while grumbling. After she fell asleep, the other two finished watching TV and then came up to sleep. It wasn't that they didn't want to go to bed early, but that He Meitian had a trauma.

"Sister Xiaofen, why don't you come to my room and sleep with me tonight?"

Since the last incident, He Meitian often asked Chai Xiaofen to sleep with her, so she would feel more at ease. Seeing that both rooms were closed, she knew that Zhang San would not come to her tonight, so she nodded in agreement.

Although she was somewhat disappointed, she didn't know what she was disappointed about.

"I'll go get the pillow, I'll be right there."
