Chapter 48 Team Leader Zhao Wuji

The young man was wearing the school uniform of Canghui Academy. He was sent flying one second ago, while the other students from Canghui Academy stood up the next second.

To avoid being caught in the crossfire, all the diners near Shrek Academy and Canghui Academy stood up and walked far away.

Only the seven members of the Spirit Hall remained seated firmly, showing no fear that the fighting would affect them.

They can fight as they please, but if they dare to harm innocent people, then they shouldn't blame us for being ruthless.

Wen Ning sat in his seat, holding a handful of melon seeds in his hand, watching with great interest, showing no intention of getting up.

Not only her, but Hu Liena is the same.

Seeing that no one seemed inclined to leave, Qi Lin felt relieved, plopped down in his seat, and began to watch with great interest.

The middle-aged man leading the group from Canghui Academy seemed to want to ask Dai Mubai and his group which academy they belonged to, but Dai Mubai ruthlessly mocked him.

This infuriated the students from Canghui Academy, who immediately sent five people forward, eager to have a real fight with the group in front of them.

However, Shrek only sent a little girl with a scorpion tail braid.

It's Xiao Wu.

Qi Lin was a little surprised to see that the opponent was a young girl. He reached out and poked Wen Ning's arm, "Xiao Ning, why is it a little girl? Can she win?"

Among the many people present, many shared the same doubts as Qi Lin.

Wen Ning glanced at Xiao Wu and said ambiguously, "Why don't you just watch and see?"

In times like these, having a prophet is a great advantage.

They installed a huge one without anyone noticing.

Seeing her like this, Qi Lin scoffed, "Are we even good friends? Between her and me, who's better?"

Instead of asking Xiao Wu if she could win, he asked her in a different way.

Seeing his persistence, Wen Ning finally relented, "Just watch how she beats these people up."

As soon as Wen Ning finished speaking, the little girl who had stood up not far away finally made a move.

She first used her shiny black braids to entangle a young man opposite her, and then kicked him away in no time before attacking another person.

Seeing how swiftly she moved, the remaining four youths reacted instantly, straightening up to prepare to defend against Xiao Wu's second attack.

He did block Xiao Wu's kicks at him, but then he suddenly realized that the kicks he blocked had no force at all, just like soft ribbons.

With her feet sliding down, she accurately clamped his neck. Xiao Wu's forward-flipping body defied the momentum and flipped backward, throwing the second person out.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye. The onlookers watched as five people from Canghui Academy rushed forward, only to have two of them cleanly and efficiently thrown away by this pretty young girl in an instant.

Seeing the scene before them, the teachers from Canghui Academy were filled with shame and indignation, and roared, "Idiots, use your Martial Soul!"

On the other side, Qi Lin saw the scene in front of him, raised his hand to rub his eyes, and said, "Xiao Ning, this little girl is pretty amazing."

Wen Ning remained seated calmly, without uttering a sound.

"I feel like if they keep fighting in here, we won't even be able to eat properly."

Yan's expression was not good as he watched the commotion.

It's not a big deal if he misses his meal, but it's a big deal if Nana misses her meal.

As he spoke, he was about to get up to stop the two people, but fortunately Wen Ning reached out and stopped him in time.

"Brother Yan, let's not meddle in other people's business, let's just watch the show."

As she said this, she grabbed another handful of sunflower seeds and handed them to Yan.

Yan didn't want to listen to Wen Ning, but Hu Liena looked at him at that moment.

Almost immediately, Yan sat back down in his seat.

By then, their dishes had been served and looked delicious. Wen Ning called out, and everyone started eating.

While the fighting raged outside, Wen Ning and his friends sat inside enjoying a peaceful meal.

It's a stark contrast between the two.

Time flew by during the meal, with occasional brief exchanges. After the Shrek group left, Wen Ning didn't see them return, so he assumed they had gone to rest.

I only watched one play, and it was a bit boring.

However, we'll be entering the Star Dou Great Forest tomorrow, so it's best to get some rest early.

However, when Wen Ning and his group went back to their room to sleep, they overheard some conversations among passersby.

It has something to do with those people from Shrek Academy.

"I thought there were only a few of them, but it turns out there's a teacher leading the group?"

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

"Yeah, I also thought there were only a few of them, but it turns out there's such a great teacher leading the group."

"One punch shattered the martial spirit of the opposing team's leader."

Hearing their conversation, Wen Ning and the others couldn't help but turn their heads. After exchanging glances for a moment, they spoke almost simultaneously, "It seems we don't have a teacher in charge..."

Everyone said this in unison, and then they all burst out laughing.

"It's okay, we don't need a teacher to lead the group."

Hu Liena chuckled softly and went into her room.

Hearing Hu Liena's voice, Wen Ning raised an eyebrow, somewhat amused, and spoke to the system in her mind, "It's okay if there's no team leader, I have you."

Her voice was filled with laughter, and she trusted the system unconditionally.

Upon hearing this, the man chuckled briefly, then spoke after a moment, "Can I take that as... you're saying nice things?"

Wen Ning turned the doorknob of her room. Upon hearing this, she paused slightly, then nodded without any hesitation. "You can understand it that way."

"I'm just saying nice things."

After uttering the last word, Wen Ning closed the door to her room, casually pulled up a chair, and sat down, chatting with the other person listlessly.

"Please protect me well."

Her voice was nonchalant, as if she were just saying it casually, or as if she were testing something.

Silence reigned all around, and the man's voice rang out with perfect clarity, "Yes."

He said this very seriously, without the slightest hint of perfunctoriness.

With that, Wen Ning instantly felt relieved and asked the system, "See, with you here, what do I need a team leader for?"

In the vast, ethereal space, the man's silver hair hung casually over his chest, his pale skin looking bloodless. Hearing the woman's laughing voice, his silver eyelashes slowly opened, revealing golden vertical pupils hidden by thin eyelids.

A faint smile appeared at the corners of his straight lips. "Hmm."

-

Wen Ning slept soundly through the night. When she opened her eyes, sunlight was already streaming in through the window, indicating that it was getting late.

"Wen Ning! Are you up yet?! You're the only one who's still asleep!"

Qi Lin's noisy voice came through the closed door. Hearing this, Wen Ning sat up abruptly, scratching her hair in annoyance. "Stop making noise, get up."
