Chapter 15 Shrek Academy

The little girl looked about twelve or thirteen years old. She was wearing a long red dress, and her hair was tied up in a high ponytail, revealing her smooth forehead. She had big, bright eyes, eyebrows like distant mountains, and her eyes sparkled like stars. Her whole face radiated youthful energy.

The sight of Soto City before Tang Nian made her eyes widen.

When she was a child, she lived in Holy Soul Village and had only been to small towns in the surrounding area. As she grew older, she lived in the Star Dou Great Forest and had never seen anything like this before.

"Hello, do you know where Shrek Academy is?" Tang Nian stopped a woman who looked very gentle.

The latter shook his head and said, "I'm not quite sure."

Tang Nian asked several people, but in the end, she still couldn't find out where Shrek Academy was. She couldn't help but doubt whether the academy really existed.

"Let me see who's asking about Shrek Academy."

Tang Nian turned her head. The chubby boy in front of her was about the same height as her, with a round face that looked rather kind and not unpleasant. In fact, he seemed quite cute. The chubby boy rolled his eyes and pointed at Tang Nian with a finger that looked like a sausage, shouting, "Beautiful lady, there's no Shrek Academy here. You've come to the wrong place."

How could Tang Nian not recognize the person in front of her? Suppressing a laugh, she called out gently, "Ma Hongjun—"

Ma Hongjun narrowed his eyes, looking displeased, and said, "Boss Dai is really something. Why did he have to mention my name to others when we were out there? Now I'm caught in the middle."

Tang Nian didn't know who Boss Dai was, but the chubby boy in front of him clearly didn't recognize him.

Tang Nian wasn't annoyed; she looked at Ma Hongjun with a smile.

Seeing her like this, Ma Hongjun's expression became somewhat unnatural. He waved his hand and said, "Fine, seeing how pitiful you look, I'll take you to Shrek Academy."

"Thank you." The little girl's smile widened, and her features became even more radiant.

Looking at the girl in front of him, Ma Hongjun felt that she seemed familiar, but he couldn't remember where he had seen her before.

Ma Hongjun led Tang Nian to a small village. There weren't many houses built there, and it might even be smaller than Holy Soul Village.

At the entrance to the village is a wooden archway with five large characters carved on it: Shrek Academy.

There was also a green head next to it, which looked like the head of some kind of monster. It was green and even a little cute.

"This is Shrek Academy?" Tang Nian looked around. This didn't look like an academy at all. If this could be considered an academy, wouldn't their Holy Soul Village be able to open a Holy Soul Academy?

However, Tang Nian did not say these words out loud. As the saying goes, you can't judge a book by its cover. Who knows what kind of world is inside?

Ma Hongjun, however, looked proud and patted his chest, saying, "We will never change our names or surnames; this is Shrek Academy."

Tang Nian nodded, remembering Tang Hao's instructions, and asked, "Actually, I came here today to study, but I don't know how to get into this academy?"

Ma Hongjun looked Tang Nian up and down and said, "Shrek is a kind of monster, and it is also an extremely ancient existence among soul beasts. This is a monster academy that only accepts monsters and not ordinary people."

After saying that, Ma Hongjun paused and said in a low voice, "There's still some time before this year's enrollment starts, but I advise you not to apply. The application fee is non-refundable. I think you're young and naive, so don't rush to give our dean your money."

Tang Nian nodded. She hadn't expected that this seemingly unremarkable academy would have so many rules.

She bit her lower lip tightly. Now that Tang Hao was gone, and she didn't know where Tang San was, she would have nowhere to go if she couldn't get into Shrek Academy.

Suddenly, a thought struck her: she remembered the middle-aged man who had been with Ma Hongjun earlier. "Is Uncle Flander here?"

Upon hearing this, Ma Hongjun looked at Tang Nian with a strange expression, nodded, and said, "Here, come with me." He then led Tang Nian inside, winding his way to a room. "It's inside, go in."

Tang Nian nodded, but then politely knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Ma Hongjun watched as the wooden door closed, squinting as he pondered the identity of the little girl inside.

"Ma Hongjun, what are you thinking about?" A large hand appeared and patted Ma Hongjun's shoulder. "What's wrong? Eavesdropping outside the dean's door again? I'm going to tell on you."

"Oscar, keep your voice down." After saying that, Ma Hongjun quickly pulled Oscar to a corner. "A little girl went in to see the dean just now."

"A little girl?" Oscar's mouth dropped open. "Could she be the dean's illegitimate daughter?"

No sooner had they finished speaking than two hands appeared behind them, patting them on the shoulders. "What are you two doing sneaking around here?"

"Boss Dai, you scared us!" The two breathed a sigh of relief when they turned around and saw that it was Dai Mubai.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

The two whispered to Dai Mubai about what they had just seen and heard, and the three of them stared at Flander's door.

Flander looked up when he heard the knocking. Those rascals weren't so well-behaved; they'd never knocked before. Sure enough, a familiar-looking girl came in.

Flander searched his memory, and unlike the forgetful child, he quickly remembered, "You're Tang Nian?"

Tang Nian nodded, a smile involuntarily spreading across her face, and said directly, "Uncle Flander, I want to join your Shrek Academy."

Flander nodded. "I'd naturally welcome you to join me." Then he glanced behind Tang Nian. "Where's your teacher?"

Speaking of Tang Hao, Tang Nian couldn't help but feel a little sad. She slowly said, "My teacher had something to take care of and didn't come with me."

Flander nodded thoughtfully. Although he had never seen the teacher's martial soul and soul rings, he could tell from the teacher's aura that he was no ordinary person. Even he couldn't see through him, so he must be at least a Soul Saint level expert.

His plan was to recruit both talents into Shrek Academy, but it wouldn't matter if they didn't come. Now that this little genius has arrived, Flander's eyes lit up, and he asked, "What level are you in now?"

"Level 25."

"Level 25?" Flander was somewhat surprised. "Could you release your spirit rings so I can see?"

He wasn't too surprised when the purple spirit ring appeared in front of Flander, after all, he was present when he absorbed the spirit ring. But when the powerful black spirit ring appeared in front of Flander...

His eyes widened instantly, staring in disbelief at the two spirit rings that shouldn't have appeared on a great spirit master.
