Chapter 210 Back to Shrek (Part 1)

The three of them haven't returned to Shrek Academy for a long time.

Tang Nian stepped gracefully off the carriage, her gaze fixed on Shrek Academy not far away.

The academy remained unchanged, almost identical to her memory, but it was noticeably more bustling and vibrant than when they had participated in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Competition.

Just then, three figures were seen getting off the carriage one after another.

Flander, Liu Erlong, the master, and Zhao Wuji, along with other teachers, quickly stepped forward to greet them.

Liu Erlong was extremely anxious. In the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of Tang Nian and Zhu Zhuqing, grabbed their hands tightly, and said with a big smile, "Oh my, look at you two beautiful young ladies! You've both grown into graceful young women. Especially Nian Nian, if Mu Bai hadn't written to us a few days ago, we probably wouldn't have recognized you!"

Upon hearing this, Tang Nian's lips curled into a playful and adorable smile. Her bright eyes gazed at the familiar faces before her, and she asked in a sweet voice, "Dear teachers, it's been a long time! I wonder how you all have been?"

Liu Erlong patted Tang Nian's slender, delicate hand with delight and replied, "Everything is wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Especially since you won the championship in the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Tournament, Shrek Academy has become incredibly famous throughout the Douluo Continent. Every day, a large number of students come from far and wide to seek knowledge there. The scene is truly spectacular! Our Dean Flander, seeing those mountains of glittering gold soul coins, his mouth was practically stretched to his ears with a grin!"

Seeing this, Flanders feigned anger and snorted coldly, "What are you doing? The children just got back, why are you digging up my secrets?"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Wuji and the master all laughed and teased Flander.

Tang Nian glanced at the teachers in the crowd, frowned slightly, and asked, "Hasn't Rongrong arrived yet?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Tang Nian heard the creaking of hooves and wheels behind her. When everyone looked over, they saw that the carriage was marked with the mark of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School.

Once the carriage came to a stop, Ning Rongrong alighted and went straight to the group. She immediately grabbed and embraced Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing, smiling at Liu Erlong, "I'm late. Some things at the sect kept me up. Hope you haven't kept me waiting long?"

Zhu Zhuqing smiled and said, "We're not late, we just got here too. By the way, where's Oscar?"

The moment those words left her lips, Ning Rongrong's face, which had been beaming with a bright smile, froze instantly. As if she had been frozen in place, she hung her head, completely motionless.

Her beautiful face was now shrouded in gloom, and the joyful expression she had shown earlier was nowhere to be seen.

Tang Nian and Zhu Zhuqing, who were standing nearby, keenly noticed the sadness and loneliness on Ning Rongrong's face. The two exchanged a glance and then silently shook their heads.

Just as the atmosphere became slightly tense, Tang Nian quickly broke the silence, saying softly, "Why don't we stop talking here and go inside?"

Ning Rongrong seemed to be still immersed in her own thoughts. After a while, she looked up as if she had just woken up from a dream. She looked much more composed than usual. She pursed her lips slightly and slowly began to speak, "It's all my fault. Not long after Oscar returned to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School with me, he decided to go out and train. I had no idea where he was going."

That being said, everyone could see Oscar's deep affection for Ning Rongrong back when they were at the academy.

Although Oscar is only a food-type Soul Master, he is a genius among food-type Soul Masters. He is just like Tang San and Tang Nian, and he has full innate Soul Power.

Such a genius would be highly sought after in any sect, or in the Star Luo Empire and the Tian Luo Empire. Even so, Oscar still chose to follow Ning Rongrong to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School without hesitation after graduation. The bond between them speaks for itself.

No matter how you look at it, Oscar should never leave the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School or Ning Rongrong, but Ning Rongrong said that he went out to train.

Tang Nian narrowed her eyes slightly. There must be some inside story they didn't know yet, but seeing that Ning Rongrong was in a bad mood, it wasn't the time to ask.

At this point, Ning Rongrong couldn't help but sigh softly, then looked at Tang Nian with a guilty expression and continued, "I have carefully read the letter that Boss Dai gave me. After receiving the letter, I immediately asked the disciples in the sect to inquire about Oscar's whereabouts everywhere, but there is still no news. I am really worried that this will delay your important matter."

Hearing this, Tang Nian couldn't help but smile and comfort her. "Rongrong, what are you saying? I asked you for help, and you all came together to help me. I am already very grateful. You must not belittle yourselves."

Having been through similar experiences, Liu Erlong quickly said, "Let's go inside!"

The four nodded and followed the teachers through the gates of Shrek Academy.

Everything inside seemed the same, yet everything seemed different. There were more students, all unfamiliar faces. When they saw the teachers approaching, they all stopped to greet them.

Their gazes, however, lingered curiously on Tang Nian and the other three.

Soon, the group would arrive at the familiar conference room. In the past, whether it was the Shrek Eight's carefully planned strategies for the competition or other important matters, everything was discussed and the final solutions were determined in this conference room.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

The four of them were deeply moved.

When they reached the meeting room door, Zhao Wuji stopped and turned to everyone, saying, "These teachers and I have classes scheduled for this afternoon, so we'll have to stay and chat with you all."

After saying that, he smiled, waved to the crowd, and then turned and left.

Tang Nian nodded knowingly, fully aware of the implications of the so-called "having classes or not having classes".

Clearly, this matter of becoming a god is no small thing and has great significance. All the teachers are well aware of this, which is why they made an excuse to leave so that too many people would not know the inside story.

In the end, only Flander, Liu Erlong, and the master remained.

Tang Nian and the other three followed closely behind, entering the conference room together. After everyone found their seats, the entire conference room fell into a brief silence.
