Chapter 145 Can't Think of a Name

Weiss calmly observed Gildarts, searching for any details that might provide a breakthrough.

Their gazes clashed fiercely in the air, and invisible sparks flew between them.

"Bang!!"

A deafening roar echoed through the air, shaking the entire battlefield.

Their attention was involuntarily drawn to it.

Makarov had somehow transformed into a gigantic giant, and he was still in a fist-pumping stance.

Not far away, the airship carrying the Demon Heart was billowing thick black smoke, its fuselage swaying precariously in the air, on the verge of crashing at any moment.

The unexpected turn of events caused a brief pause in the tense atmosphere. Both sides stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to the shaky behemoth.

The lights on the surface of the airship flickered, and occasionally a few sparks could be seen shooting out from the cracks in the hull.

"The master has made his move. Your lair looks like it's about to crash." Gildarts looked at the teetering airship and grinned smugly.

Wes wasn't as flustered as he had expected. "The president is right on the airship."

"Then I hope he doesn't fall to his death."

"Then I advise you not to be too happy too soon. The chairman will give Makarov a big surprise."

As soon as Wes finished speaking, Gildarts raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Is it that amazing?" He didn't completely believe Wes's words.

"It's not a matter of how powerful they are; they're old acquaintances. You might even have seen Makarov's picture in his office."

After Weiss finished speaking, he gave a meaningful look.

"What do you mean?"

Gildarts felt a chill run down his spine, vaguely sensing that things weren't so simple.

Wes didn't offer any further explanation; he simply turned around and prepared to head towards Hades' location.

"The show is about to begin."

What happened next and the battle with Gildarts were not worth mentioning.

"Your magic is very interesting. Here's a piece of advice: you're in big trouble."

After leaving those words, he disappeared from the battlefield.

Gildarts was left standing there alone, looking bewildered and lost in thought.

Wes's words struck him like a thunderbolt, leaving him momentarily bewildered.

When Wes returned to his room, everything was in complete disarray. All his belongings were scattered everywhere, and alarms were blaring incessantly.

When he walked out of the room, the airship was in complete chaos.

In the corridor, staff members ran back and forth anxiously, and alarms sounded incessantly, filling the entire space with piercing noise.

"Put out the fire quickly!!"

"Activate the auxiliary wings, don't let the airship fall."

"No, that last move ruined my balance, I can't hold on!!"

The members of Demon Heart were in a panic.

Since Hades and his seven retinues were not on the airship, the group lost their leader and fell into chaos.

"Don't panic."

"Lord Weiss!"

When the previously panicked members saw him, their eyes instantly filled with hope.

Wes waved his hands, and mysterious runes converged into a powerful magical force that surged towards the bottom of the airship.

After Wess cast the levitation spell on the airship, the teetering behemoth finally regained its balance and stopped falling.

"Great!" someone cheered, but soon they threw themselves back into the intense work of repairing the damaged parts. "Hurry up and fix the damaged parts."

Every member was racing against time, hoping to get the airship back to normal operation as soon as possible.

Amidst the hustle and bustle, Weiss had other thoughts on his mind.

I've done you such a big favor, it's not unreasonable for me to ask for some compensation.

While everyone was busy with repairs, Wes left the crowd and headed straight for Hades' private library.

Even Wes frowned as he faced the door covered in complex seals.

Forcibly breaking the seal is certainly feasible, but it would immediately attract Hades' attention, while other methods would require a lot of time.

While Wes was struggling with his decision, three unfamiliar magical entities were quietly approaching the airship.

The Fairy Tail members have broken in; perhaps we can use them.

Just as he had predicted, it wasn't long before the crew on the airship discovered the three uninvited guests.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

With most of the combat-capable personnel out on missions, only the logistics staff remained on the airship, making resistance seem particularly futile.

Soon, the three intruders broke through all the defenses and reached the top floor.

Wes stood there, looking at the three people in front of him, a meaningful smile on his face: "So, it's three cats."

Happy, Charlotte, Lily.

"Damn it, we're not kittens, we're transcendents!"

Harpy retorted angrily, but even when angry, its round eyes looked exceptionally cute.

Lili shielded his two companions behind him, gripping his magic sword tightly and assuming a fighting stance.

At this moment, he was even taller than Wes, like a majestic black panther general.

"You're here to find the president's heart, right?"

"How could you... um..." Xia Lulu quickly covered Happy's mouth, not wanting it to reveal any more information.

"Idiot!" Charlotte hissed, while watching Wes warily.

"You've come at the right time. Could you help me break the seal on this door?"

"We won't listen to you," Happy muttered, its protest still audible despite being covered by Xia Lulu's hand.

"Is that so?" A faint killing intent emanated from the air, causing the temperature in the entire space to plummet. "As payment, I can let you go."

Upon hearing this, the three transcendents involuntarily tensed up, their hair standing on end.

"Ha~ha~" Seeing this, Wes suddenly burst into laughter, "I'm not kidding you guys anymore."

As soon as he finished speaking, three spells shot out from his fingertips, accurately hitting Happy, Charlo, and Lily.

Caught completely off guard, the three brave little transcendents were struck by the curse, lost consciousness, and collapsed to the ground.

"With a scapegoat, things become much easier."

Wes turned and walked toward the door of the library, and without thinking, he violently blew it open.

He stood in the library, looking around at the neatly arranged bookshelves, a smug smile on his face, like a mouse that had just stolen some oil.

With a gentle wave of his hand, those precious books flew into his briefcase one after another.

"I stopped Fairy Tail from destroying the guild master's heart, so consider these books my reward."

Weiss closed the suitcase full of books with satisfaction.

Then, he easily lifted the three unconscious kittens with one hand, and in a flash, he disappeared from the spot and appeared on Sirius Island.
