Chapter 210 Insects

In the pitch-black space, Wes's figure appeared silently.

All around was pure darkness, without a single ray of light, as if the entire world had been swallowed up by endless darkness.

It was eerily quiet here; there was no sound except for the faint breathing of Wes.

"Strange, where am I? Is this place I've traveled to so strangely?" Wes was filled with doubt.

He had never encountered this situation before. Although there were various unknown situations during his previous time travels, none of them were as baffling as this.

This appears to be a separate, isolated space.

Wes pondered to himself.

He began to survey his surroundings, his eyes struggling to adjust to the extreme darkness.

He was trying to find some clues, some signs that could tell him where he was.

However, he found nothing but endless darkness.

The thought of breaking through this space arose in Wes's mind.

at this time,

"Huff~"

"Huff~"

Heavy breathing came from behind me.

Wes turned around abruptly and saw a knight exuding an ominous aura standing before him.

The knight was clad in black armor, and his eyes beneath his helmet gleamed with an eerie light.

He exuded a chilling aura, as if he were a demon who had stepped out of hell.

He seemed to have lost his mind, and attacked Wes as soon as he saw him.

"roar!!"

The knight let out a deafening roar and charged at Wes, brandishing his longsword.

Wes' mood suddenly soured; he had been transported to an unknown place and was attacked.

"Since you attacked first, don't blame me." A surge of anger welled up in Wes' heart.

A few minutes later, the berserk knight vanished into specks of light under Wes's attack.

"This thing isn't human; it's some kind of energy aggregate." Wes frowned, pondering what this strange entity was.

Just as he was lost in thought, a series of chants echoed through the space.

A magic circle slowly appeared, radiating a mysterious light.

"A teleportation array?! Is this the way to leave? Or could it be a trap?"

Weiss was filled with doubt.

He looked warily at the magic circle, considering whether he should step inside.

However, he quickly realized that his panel wouldn't teleport him to a dangerous place for no reason.

After some thought, Wes finally decided to step into the teleportation array.

"The magic circle is reacting!" a voice exclaimed, filled with urgency and excitement.

"Useless piece of trash, sign the contract now!"

The disgusting old man roared angrily, his face contorted with rage, his eyes revealing greed and madness.

"##@#@##@#$"

A series of incomprehensible incantations came from the old man's mouth, as if urging something.

Wes opened his eyes and saw three people in front of him.

The old man had a face full of wrinkles, loose skin, and exuded a rotten smell that made people want to vomit.

A malnourished middle-aged man, thin and pale, with a look of confusion and unease in his eyes.

There was also a emotionless little girl, standing there quietly.

"Why does this scene feel so familiar?" Wes muttered to himself, a sense of déjà vu washing over him. He asked directly, "Where am I?"

The old man frowned, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes: "What's going on? You don't know about the Holy Grail?"

The word "Holy Grail?" made Wes instantly realize what kind of world he had entered.

His gaze fell on the panel, where the World section had changed to Fate/Zero.

"So this is the place. That means that dark space we just saw was Chaldea."

Wes fell into deep thought, beginning to consider his strategy for navigating this world.

"This Servant is acting strangely, Matou Kariya, quickly use a Command Seal."

The shrewd and experienced Matou Ryogen noticed Wes's unusual behavior and immediately gave instructions.

But Kariya Matou hesitated: "Do we really want to waste a Command Seal right from the start?"

He hesitated, his heart filled with conflict.

Command Seals were extremely precious to him, and he didn't want to waste them easily.

"Damn it, at a time like this..." Matou Ryouken was furious and was about to continue scolding.

"Silence is prohibited here!" Wes activated the spell.

In an instant, the Matou father and son found themselves unable to utter a single word, no matter what they did.

Their mouths were wide open, but no sound came out, and their faces showed terror.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Matou Ryouken immediately took action, shooting a ghostly blue flame at Wes.

The flames were like venomous snakes.

Wes teleported directly behind him.

"Ten times gravity," he said softly.

Matou Ryogen collapsed to the ground, his body feeling as if a mountain was pressing down on him, making it extremely difficult to even move a finger.

But in that instant, Matou Ryouken's body turned into countless disgusting worms crawling everywhere.

Wes frowned, a hint of disgust flashing in his eyes.

Without hesitation, he used the Fiery Blaze to burn the disgusting insects to ashes.

[It seems Malekith is just too strong; Fiendfire is still quite effective.]

Wes thought to himself.

He... he's dead?

Matou Kariya was overjoyed as he looked at the ashes on the ground.

Kariya Matou felt no sadness at the death of his nominal father; in fact, he was happy.

His heart was filled with hatred for Matou Ryouken, the evil old man who had brought him endless suffering.

Wes knew this old guy wasn't so easy to kill, so he held his wand and activated a barrier.

The entire Matou residence, both above and below ground, was enveloped by a barrier.

Just in case, Wes continued to cast the Word Magic.

"Entry or exit is prohibited in this area."

Unless one's magic power far surpasses Wes's, or Wes is killed outright, there is no other way to break the barrier.

After doing all that, Wes tapped the floor and found that it was hollow underneath.

Just as he was about to blow up the floorboards, a rustling sound came from underground.

Countless insects burst forth from the ground like a fountain, bursting through the floor.

Wes looked disgusted; the worms were endless and filled the basement in just a few seconds.

Wes used the Levitation Charm, and the mysterious magic, like a gentle breeze, slowly lifted the three of them, allowing them to float steadily in the air.

At this moment, the entire basement was occupied by an endless stream of insects, which surged like a raging tide, sending chills down one's spine.

The insects began to rapidly assemble.

Gradually, a face made up of insects, that of Matou Ryouken, appeared before everyone's eyes.

The scene was extremely eerie; every insect was wriggling slightly, as if whispering evil words.

Although Matou Ryogen was unable to speak at this moment, his will compelled the insects to form a sentence.

The characters, arranged by insects, were crooked and twisted, yet they clearly conveyed his intention.

"Stop! I can help you win the Holy Grail War."
