Chapter 222 The Situation

Only Wes, the Conqueror, and Webber remained on the scene, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward.

"Caster, want to grab a drink?" the Conqueror King boldly invited.

"Rider??" Waver's voice rose an octave, his face filled with astonishment and confusion. "Everyone participating in the Holy Grail War is an enemy. What are you thinking?"

Weber looked anxiously at the Conqueror, trying to persuade him to withdraw this outrageous invitation.

However, the Conqueror ignored his Master, his gaze fixed on Wes, awaiting his response.

Wes narrowed his eyes slightly, remained silent for a moment, and then boarded the chariot.

"Ha~ha~" The Conqueror King laughed loudly, his laughter as loud as thunder, full of pride and confidence: "I know a good place!"

The divine ox pulled the chariot soaring into the sky.

Fuyuki City lay beneath their feet, and the cars below looked as tiny as matchboxes.

The Conqueror King parked his chariot on the tallest building in Fuyuki City, a towering skyscraper that seemed to reach into the clouds.

He stepped off the chariot, looked down at the city, and his eyes were filled with amazement.

"I never imagined that ordinary people could build such a magnificent city."

His voice was filled with emotion, marveling at human creativity.

"This is just a small town in Japan; the real big cities have populations of over 2000 million."

Weber said softly.

"Oh, that's more than the population I rule! How interesting! Isn't the world getting more and more interesting?"

The Conqueror's eyes gleamed with excitement; he saw a new world full of challenges and opportunities.

"Become my subordinate, Caster!!" the Conqueror King suddenly said, his voice filled with authority and expectation.

His eyes were fixed on Wes, as if waiting for him to submit.

"I refuse." Wes's answer was concise and decisive, without the slightest hesitation.

The Conqueror King, unfazed by the rejection, smiled slightly and said, "As expected, Heroic Spirits are not so easy to conquer."

"But we can join forces," Wes suggested.

"Join forces??" The Conqueror King spread his arms wide: "The word 'conquer' only exists in my dictionary." His voice was full of domineering power, as if he were an invincible king.

"Then you're bound to lose." Wes said calmly.

The Conqueror King's expression turned serious, and his eyes were filled with vigilance.

"Are you provoking me?" His voice was full of authority.

"Gilgamesh and Sabe are not easy to deal with."

"Golden Gilgamesh???" The Conqueror King thought for a moment, then suddenly realized.

"Ah, you're really describing that guy with an insane number of Noble Phantasms. That's quite a fitting nickname." He chuckled. "Is it really a fitting name for him?"

"That kid is indeed troublesome, but I am the Conqueror King!!" Iskandar has always been confident in his strength.

"The other party is none other than the King of Heroes—Gilgamesh." Wes didn't hide anything and directly revealed Gilgamesh's identity. He

"Initially, in order to suppress the growing power of humanity after excessive reproduction, the ancient gods combined human royalty with goddesses to create the 'wedge' that the gods used to restrain humanity—Gilgamesh."

He is a hero born between gods and humans, possessing an extremely high divine status of "two-thirds god and one-third human" and the perspectives of both gods and humans.

He is called the King of Heroes, not in the sense of being a "king who is a hero," but as "the king of heroes." He is the origin of all myths and the template for heroes; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say so.

Weiss seemed to be telling a legendary story.

Iskandar's expression turned serious, his eyes filled with contemplation: "The King of Heroes?"

"No matter what class he descends in, he can unleash overwhelming combat power. Although you are very powerful, you are definitely no match for him. You have no chance of winning." Wes ignored Iskandar's ugly expression.

"So, are you trustworthy?" Iskandar turned his attention to Wes. "You still haven't revealed your identity, Caster." His voice was full of doubt, as if demanding a reasonable explanation from Wes.

"I am just an insignificant magician. You can call me Wes." His departure made the atmosphere even more tense, as if a storm was about to break.

"Rider, why won't you agree to join forces? The enemy is Gilgamesh!!" Waver shouted, his voice filled with anxiety and worry.

He couldn't understand the Conqueror's decision; in his view, joining forces was the only option in the face of such a powerful enemy.

"What, are you scared?" The Conqueror's voice was full of teasing.

"How could that be?" Weber said stubbornly, but his body betrayed him, trembling uncontrollably.

His eyes were filled with fear, worried about the battle to come.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

"Ha~ha~" Iskandar's large hand slapped Waver's thin shoulder, and Waver almost fell to the ground.

"I don't trust that guy; I can tell he's hiding a lot of things."

The Conqueror looked at the spot where Wes had disappeared.

Wes returned to his own space.

He frowned slightly, lost in thought. "Gilgamesh and Saber are really troublesome since they have no weaknesses. To catch the thief, catch the king first. As long as we kill their Master, they will naturally withdraw from the Holy Grail War."

His eyes gleamed with contemplation as he pondered how to deal with these two powerful and troublesome Heroic Spirits.

Alternatively, one could wait for others to fight and then act as a fisherman, reaping the benefits.

However, monitoring the movements of all Servants and Masters is a difficult task.

"All the Masters were very restrained tonight, which is not good."

Wes shook his head slightly, paced back and forth, and kept thinking about various possibilities.

He decided to take direct action against Gilgamesh and summoned Kariya Matou.

Matou Kariya was so excited that he grabbed Wes's arms tightly with both hands.

"Of course I know the Tohsaka family's address," Matou Kariya's voice trembled slightly with excitement, "You're going to make a move against Tokiomi Tohsaka??"

His face showed a complex expression, a mixture of anticipation and worry.

"I just think everyone's been too restrained; we need to add fuel to the fire!"

Wes's lips curled into a slight smile. He wanted to break the stalemate and make the Holy Grail War more intense and unpredictable.

"Great!" Matou Kariya shouted excitedly, seeing hope for revenge.

He didn't care what specific plans Wes had; in his mind, he would wholeheartedly support any action against Tokiomi Tohsaka.

Tokiomi Tohsaka is his nemesis and the source of his pain. He is willing to do anything to make Tokiomi Tohsaka pay the price.
