Chapter 232 Ethics 2

Alice's magic power far surpasses that of ordinary magicians; each surge of her magic is like a raging wave.

As a teammate, she makes people feel incredibly safe and secure.

In battle, her magic can provide powerful support to her teammates, whether it's healing wounds, enhancing strength, or casting defensive magic, she can do it all with ease.

However, as an enemy, she becomes extremely troublesome.

Moreover, both Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau felt guilty towards her.

They were unable to bring themselves to kill Alice in their battle.

Guilt makes them hesitant in battle, preventing them from unleashing their full potential.

The two men sustained more and more injuries.

Under Alice's attacks, their bodies suffered continuous injuries.

Kiritsugu Emiya's body was covered in wounds, and blood was flowing out continuously.

Hisayu Maiya was even worse off. She was just an ordinary person, and she was able to hold on for so long thanks to Kiritsugu Emiya's help.

Her body was exhausted, but she persevered stubbornly, willing to pay any price to protect Kiritsugu Emiya.

"Kiritsugu, you've never protected me like this before," Alice said, tears welling in her eyes, "I'm so jealous."

Her voice was filled with sorrow and pain.

She looked at Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau, her heart filled with complex emotions.

She both hoped that Kiritsugu Emiya could protect her, and felt jealous and resentful about his relationship with Maiya Hisau.

Looking at Alice's face, Kiritsugu Emiya felt a pang of tenderness in his heart.

He knew Alice was under Wes's control, but he still couldn't bring himself to hurt her.

Alice will not show any mercy.

A hint of coldness flashed in her eyes, and with a wave of her right hand, the birds of prey launched an attack.

The birds of prey, like ferocious beasts, pounced on Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau.

Their claws are incredibly sharp, and their wings generate a powerful wind when they flap.

Under Alice's control, they relentlessly attacked Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau, plunging them into an even more dangerous situation.

Alice slowly opened her arms, as if embracing the whole world.

In that instant, numerous silver threads appeared like silver snakes, dancing in the air and emitting a cold light.

The silver threads moved with incredible speed, wrapping around Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau.

"Master!" Hisayu Maiya called out loudly.

Her eyes were fixed on the rapidly approaching silver threads, her hand gripping her weapon tightly, ready to defend Kiritsugu Emiya from any attack.

Emiya Kiritsugu sighed deeply as he watched the silver threads closing in.

He knew he couldn't hesitate any longer.

He quickly switched to the Origin Bullet magazine, a resolute glint in his eyes.

"Alice, forgive me," he said softly, his voice filled with helplessness and guilt.

He then activated his inherent time control, and time seemed to slow down in his eyes.

He fired four shots in quick succession, the sound of which was particularly loud in the silent air.

The four Origin Bullets struck Alice's limbs accurately, and the powerful impact caused her body to tremble slightly.

"Ha~ha~" Alice fell to the ground after being shot, a smile on her face: "Kiritsugu, you're so cruel."

Her voice was filled with pain and sorrow.

She attempted to activate self-healing magic.

However, the Origin Bullet disrupted the magic within Alice.

This prevented her from performing magic.

The wound emanated a mysterious power, preventing it from healing.

Kiritsugu Emiya remained silent, his eyes filled with complex emotions.

He looked at Alice lying on the ground, his heart filled with guilt and helplessness.

He knew that his actions might make Alice unable to forgive him forever, but he had no other choice.

Suddenly, Kiritsugu Emiya felt a chill run down his spine; a strong intuition warned him that danger was approaching.

Ignoring his already severely injured body, he activated his inherent time control once again.

In that instant, time seemed to stand still.

He saw a golden spear pierce his heart like lightning from the shadows behind him.

At the critical moment, Kiritsugu Emiya used all his strength to veer slightly to the left.

However, the spear was too fast and pierced through half of his body.

Blood gushed out like a fountain, and the wound was horrifying to behold.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

You can even see the beating heart, which is terrifying.

Kiritsugu Emiya pressed his right hand tightly against the wound, trying to prevent his internal organs from spilling out.

His face was as pale as paper, his forehead was covered in sweat, and his body trembled slightly from the pain.

"Master!" Hisayu Maiya cried out in alarm and urgency.

She rushed over without hesitation, trying to help Kiritsugu Emiya.

Emiya Kiritsugu was the most important person in her life.

However, just as she was about to touch Kiritsugu Emiya.

"Lightning Flash!" A bolt of lightning, like a ferocious dragon, struck Hisayu Maiya in an instant.

Hisayu Maiya had no time to dodge and was directly struck by the lightning, turning into charred remains that emitted a pungent, burnt smell.

"Maimi!!" Kiritsugu Emiya's expression was indifferent, his face showing little change, as if all of this had nothing to do with him.

However, only he knew that his heart was bleeding. He was not a cold-blooded machine; he also had feelings and could feel pain.

Hisayuu Maiya was one of the people closest to him, and her departure caused him immense pain and self-blame.

Only those close to him could tell from his micro-expressions that he was in pain; a barely perceptible sadness flashed in his eyes, his lips trembled slightly, and his fingers were clenched into fists.

Alice could tell.

She lay on the ground and rubbed her chin against Kiritsugu Emiya, little by little, until she reached him.

Her movements were slow and laborious, as if each movement required tremendous effort.

Her eyes were filled with love and pain as she looked at Kiritsugu Emiya, her heart brimming with complex emotions.

"Kiritsugu, I really love you." Alice's voice was gentle and affectionate.

Kiritsugu Emiya dared not look her in the eye.

His heart was filled with guilt and helplessness; he didn't know how to face Alice's feelings.

He knew he had hurt her too much, and he was no longer worthy of her love.

"But you betrayed me, and you betrayed Ilya too." Alice's voice was tinged with anger and disappointment.

When she mentioned Illya's name, Kiritsugu Emiya looked up.

Ilya was his daughter, and he felt immense guilt and remorse towards her.

He knew that he had sacrificed too much to realize his ideals, including his family and loved ones.

"I'm sorry," Kiritsugu Emiya said in a low, hoarse voice.

He knew that his apology could not undo the mistake he had made, but he still wanted to speak out in the hope of gaining Alice's forgiveness.

"Kiritsugu," Alice said with a smile, "I will not forgive you."

Silver threads wove into a giant eagle, which swooped down on Kiritsugu Emiya with anger and hatred.
