Chapter 271 Next Stop

New York Harbor, a bustling hub and one of the largest ports on the East Coast of the United States, resembles an awakened steel behemoth under the cover of night.

At this moment, the sea surface was sparkling, the marks left by more than a dozen large cruise ships cutting through the water as they slowly approached the port.

At the harbor, Weiss stood quietly, his eyes fixed on the approaching cruise ship, a hint of anticipation in them.

Kingpin stood respectfully by his side, not daring to slack off in the slightest when it came to Wes's affairs.

Once the cruise ship's bow was safely docked, Kingpin immediately ordered his men to unload the cargo.

"No need," Wes suddenly interjected.

A spatial passage slowly opened in the air.

Accompanied by a slight energy fluctuation, Black Dwarf emerged from the passage with over a hundred young men.

These young men were all huge, over five meters tall, with bulging muscles and distinct lines on their rugged bodies.

Their faces were ferocious; some had sharp horns on their heads, and others had eyes as big as copper bells, flashing with an eerie light. Their skin was covered with strange patterns.

This sudden turn of events gave Kingpin's underlings quite a fright.

Many of them began to tremble uncontrollably, their hands trembling as they lost their grip on the guns, their eyes filled with terror.

"What are you afraid of? It's not like we've never seen aliens before!" Kingpin shouted when he saw this.

His voice boomed like thunder, exploding in the ears of his underlings, which calmed them down a little.

Although these underlings had seen their share of the underworld in New York, they still couldn't suppress their fear when facing these alien creatures at such close range.

Without hesitation, the able-bodied men brought by Black Dwarf walked to the cruise ship, each easily carrying a container and heading back.

Throughout the entire process, they did not utter a single word, but silently carried out their mission. Their synchronized movements and immense strength were astonishing.

However, the amount of supplies was simply too much, and despite the incredible strength of these able-bodied men, they still found it somewhat difficult.

Just then, some alien children who were not yet adults also came out of the space tunnel to help.

Although they are children, they are all over three meters tall, much larger than adults on Earth.

They worked in pairs to lift a shipping container together.

And so, with everyone working together, the cargo on more than a dozen cruise ships was completely unloaded before dawn.

After watching the last container pass through the spatial passage, Wes slowly closed the passage.

Kingpin gazed at the spot where the passage disappeared, his heart filled with curiosity about the world beyond.

Various guesses kept popping into his mind: what exactly was that place like?

Weiss was very satisfied with what he had gained.

With these supplies, he temporarily solved the food problem for the Black Dwarf race.

This batch of supplies included not only a large amount of food, but also various livestock and seeds.

"Still no news from other clans?"

For Wes, vampires were not just ordinary supernatural creatures, but excellent materials for crafting the Philosopher's Stone.

"They were traced to a small European country, but we don't know exactly where."

Kingpin shook his head helplessly. He had already used his extensive intelligence network in the underworld, but these vampires were too cunning and would disappear without a trace as soon as they sensed danger.

Not only Kingpin, but the Hand is also doing everything in its power to find the vampire for Wes.

However, the two clans in New York and England were destroyed.

This frightened the other vampire clans, making them more cautious and hiding even deeper.

Those subtle clues that might have revealed their whereabouts have now been carefully erased, as if they had never existed in this world.

Wes sighed with some regret, but he wasn't disappointed.

The remaining Philosopher's Stones can last for a while longer.

These vampires can't hide forever.

As long as they are still active in this world, there will always be a time when they slip up.

Perhaps it was an unintentional act of blood-sucking, or perhaps it was a member's carelessness; these small flaws could become the breakthrough point for Wes to find them.

At that time, he will launch another operation.

With three Infinity Stones in his possession, Wes has undoubtedly become one of the most threatening figures in the entire universe, and at the same time, he has become a thorn in Thanos's side.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Thanos, the overlord who is determined to collect all six Infinity Stones and balance the universe in his own way, will not tolerate anyone interfering with his plans, especially Wes, who already possesses half of the Infinity Stones.

Moreover, Wes didn't want to let go of the other three Infinity Stones either.

Thanos's snap of his fingers after collecting all six Infinity Stones, wiping out half of all life in the universe, may be seen by many as a destiny, an inevitable choice as the universe develops to a certain stage.

But for Wes, none of that mattered.

He is a time traveler, a special being from a different time and space.

If he has the special ability to travel through time, which is like having a cheat code, but still has to act according to other people's wishes and be bound by so-called fate and inevitability, then wouldn't his journey to this world be meaningless?

However, before that, he needs to continuously improve his strength.

The universe is like a dark, turbulent ocean, and the Infinity Stones are the most dazzling yet most dangerous pearls in the ocean's depths.

Owning them is like standing in the eye of a raging storm, where you could be swallowed up at any moment.

The three Infinity Stones that Wes now possess are both a powerful asset and a beacon of disaster.

Thanos will not show him any mercy.

That last Titan was obsessed with his so-called "balanced universe."

He would stop at nothing to achieve his goals; countless planets were reduced to ruins under his iron hooves, and countless lives were easily wiped out in his eyes like ants.

Thanos will undoubtedly crush Wes, who stands in his way of collecting the Infinity Stones, with overwhelming force.

He would not be swayed by any of Weiss's reasons or excuses, nor would he feel the slightest pity.

Moreover, it was "death" that lured Thanos to collect all the Infinity Stones.

Behind the scenes of this universe, "death" is an invisible hand that controls everything.

This fueled Thanos's fanatical pursuit.

Her presence made the whole situation more complicated and dangerous.

"It's time to recruit more people."
