Chapter 343 The Straw Hat Crew

Time flies, and a year has passed in the blink of an eye. This year's new world has been incredibly lively.

Those ambitious pirates who had just stepped into the mysterious and dangerous seas of the New World engaged in fierce, almost insane battles to seize the territory that once belonged to the Whitebeard Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates.

Every day, just by flipping through the newspapers and reading the news, one can see reports of once-renowned pirates, feared throughout the seas, being defeated by inexperienced rookie pirates. These scenes are truly astonishing and make the situation in the entire pirate world even more turbulent.

Even the Red-Haired Pirates, known for their strength and fame, were not spared in this chaotic situation and were frequently attacked by other pirate crews.

Those pirates who wanted to gain benefits from the Red-Haired Pirates and make a name for themselves completely disregarded the Red-Haired Pirates' strength and launched attacks like moths to a flame, forcing the Red-Haired Pirates to be constantly vigilant and deal with these continuous challenges.

However, in this chaotic and turbulent new world, only Dressrosa and Wano Country, under Wes's rule, remain like two peaceful paradises, living in seclusion.

Under Wes's protection, the two places were well-ordered, and the people lived in peace and contentment, unaffected by the crazy pirate battles outside, enjoying a rare peace and tranquility.

However, this peace did not last long and was soon to be broken.

On Punk Hazard, after a thrilling battle, the Straw Hat crew successfully defeated Caesar.

After the battle, everyone was immersed in the joy of victory, so a grand banquet was held on the island to celebrate this hard-won victory.

Momonosuke and Kin'emon also joined in the joyful atmosphere. They sat together with the Straw Hat crew, their faces beaming with relaxed and happy smiles, fully enjoying the joy brought by their hard-won victory.

Everyone shared their amusing stories from the battle, their laughter and cheers echoing across the island.

Caesar, Vergo, and Monet were found bound hand and foot and thrown into a corner.

They had all suffered serious injuries in the previous fierce battle with the Straw Hat crew, and each of them looked disheveled.

Vergo's once upright posture was now hunched over, his clothes were tattered and stained with blood, and his face was covered with bruises and abrasions.

Monet was in no better shape. Her beautiful face was now filled with exhaustion and pain, her white feathers were disheveled, her wings drooped limply, and there were several obvious wounds on her body, which were oozing blood.

Ever since Doflamingo was killed by Wes, Vergo and Monet have made revenge their primary goal, and have been eagerly seeking an opportunity for vengeance.

But they also knew very well that Wes was far too powerful; he was a ruthless character who had defeated even sea tyrants like Big Mom and Kaido.

The two of them had thought about it carefully in private, and even if they cultivated for ten more lifetimes, they probably wouldn't be a match for Wes.

However, the hatred in their hearts was too much for them to bear, so they placed their last hope in Caesar.

In their view, Caesar, as a mad and talented scientist, might be able to develop a weapon powerful enough to deal with Wes.

When Caesar heard their request, he almost burst out laughing.

A weapon that can kill Wes?

This is simply a fantasy! If Caesar really had the ability to develop such a weapon, why would he need to stay on this remote Punk Hazard Island? He would have already become the king of the high seas with this invincible weapon.

However, Caesar knew that he was no match for Vergo and Monet; if the two of them got really angry, he would probably lose his life.

Left with no other choice, he reluctantly agreed, thinking he would just have to take it one step at a time and try to get by for now.

To their utter surprise, before Caesar's research could yield any results, they were defeated by the Straw Hat crew, shattering their last hope for revenge.

As Monet thought of this, tears of despair welled up in his eyes, the glistening tears sliding down his cheeks and dripping onto the ground.

Vergo simply sat there cross-legged silently, without uttering a word, his eyes filled with deep despair and deathly stillness. Both of them were now resigned to death, feeling that since revenge was hopeless, there seemed to be no point in living.

"Give"

Just as Monet was immersed in despair and Vergo remained silent, a gentle voice broke the somewhat somber atmosphere.

Sanji slowly walked over carrying a steaming bowl of soup and then handed it to her.

Monet slowly raised her head, her eyes still holding a trace of confusion and sadness. She looked at Sanji, her face expressionless.

Sanji tilted his head slightly, revealing what he thought was a very cool expression. With a confident yet slightly smug smile, he said, "As a chef, I won't let anyone go hungry."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Even if it's an enemy, he can't let them go hungry; this is a principle he adheres to as a chef.

Upon seeing this, Caesar's eyes lit up, and he quickly raised his hand, urgently calling out, "Give me a bowl!"

He had been starving for a long time and was completely oblivious to the fact that he was still a prisoner.

"You bastard, you'll starve to death in one meal!!"

Upon hearing Caesar's words, Sanji flew into a rage, his smile vanishing instantly, revealing his sharp teeth.

Startled by Sanji's shout, Caesar trembled and quickly curled into a ball, his eyes filled with terror. He muttered under his breath, "Stingy! It's just a bowl of soup."

But he didn't dare to say it out loud, for fear of really angering Sanji and getting a beating.

Monet glanced at the bowl of soup briefly before looking away, showing no interest whatsoever in it.

"Hoo," Sanji exhaled a smoke ring, shook his head helplessly, then bent down, placed the bowl on the ground, and said in a slightly gentler tone, "It won't taste good when it's cold."

After saying that, he turned around and walked back towards the lively banquet, quickly rejoining the laughter and chatter of his companions.

Only the bowl of still-steaming soup remained, emitting a faint aroma.
