Chapter 401 Loki
Chapter 401 Loki
In such a gravitational environment, even moving a small step becomes incredibly difficult for the Deadpools, leaving them helplessly lying on the ground, continuing to hurl insults.
Inside the Time and Space Administration Bureau, Mr. Paradox watched this scene on the screen, his face ashen and grim as if water could drip from it.
He never expected that the Deadpools he had carefully gathered would be unable to even get close to Wes. He thought that with the Deadpools' tenacious immortality and crazy fighting style, they would at least be able to cause some trouble for Wes, but reality dealt him a heavy blow.
The Deadpools are usually overwhelming against ordinary people, but they are surprisingly vulnerable against a powerful and cunning opponent like Wes.
However, Mr. Paradox won't stop there; he has another trick up his sleeve.
Just as Wes' attention was focused on the Deadpools being suppressed by gravity, a dagger suddenly appeared in the void. The dagger, carrying a sharp aura, moved like a black lightning bolt, silently stabbing towards Wes' back. Its speed was extremely fast, and it was about to hit its target.
"Ding!"
However, just as the dagger was about to touch Wes's back, it seemed to hit an invisible wall, only causing ripples in the air, but it couldn't break through Wes's defense in the slightest.
"Long time no see, Loki."
Wes didn't turn his head, speaking calmly as if he had already anticipated the identity of the attacker.
It was Loki who launched the sneak attack.
He had thought his long-planned attack would surely succeed, but he didn't expect Wes to block it so easily. He didn't dare to linger and immediately retreated, widening the distance between himself and Wes, watching his opponent warily.
When did you find me?
Loki frowned, asking with a puzzled look. He was quite confident in his concealment magic.
After all, he was Asgard's most outstanding assassin, skilled at concealing his presence and launching surprise attacks, a skill that had caused countless opponents to suffer heavy losses in the past.
But this time, Wes easily saw through his plan, which puzzled him greatly.
Wes, however, had no intention of explaining to him. He simply looked at Loki's Time and Space Administration uniform with a half-smile and said with a hint of sarcasm, "Looks like you've become someone else's lackey."
Upon hearing this, Loki helplessly shrugged and quickly explained, "Don't be so harsh. It's just a temporary collaboration."
But Wes knew very well that Loki was not the kind of person who would cooperate honestly with others. This guy was always cunning and definitely had no good intentions.
Sure enough, just as Wes was thinking this, a soft "ding" sounded, and Loki, who had just been talking to him, turned out to be just an illusion, instantly disappearing into thin air.
Taking advantage of this opening, Loki's true form launched another attack. He moved like a ghost towards Wes, a pair of sharp short swords appearing in his hands, flashing coldly as he swung them, heading straight for Wes.
"A mere trick." Wes sneered, and a violent thunderstorm erupted instantly around him.
The thunderstorm was massive, with thick bolts of lightning raging through the air like silver snakes, crackling and spreading outwards.
This scene reminded Loki of his brother Thor, whose powerful lightning force was both familiar and somewhat fearful to him.
However, he didn't have time to think too much at the moment. With his agile movements, he dodged and weaved through the dense lightning, managing to avoid many attacks.
Loki's physical skills have always been underestimated by many. He is extremely agile, dodging and weaving while looking for the next opportunity to strike. His mind never stops.
Unfortunately, none of these little schemes escaped Wes's notice. Moreover, Wes's keen senses detected that someone else was lurking in the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike.
"Death Extraction" Wei
As soon as he uttered those four words, a gray mist spread from his body. Wherever the gray mist passed, all life was instantly drained away, and even the hard rocks gradually turned grayish-white, as if they had instantly lost their vitality.
Those Dead Servants who were already pressed to the ground by gravity had their life force instantly drained and died the moment they were touched by the gray mist. However, their amazing regenerative abilities brought them back to life, and this cycle repeated itself. The gray mist that had absorbed the Dead Servants' life force became increasingly dense and spread faster, like a giant beast that devoured people, constantly expanding its "territory" in all directions.
Seeing this, Loki knew how powerful the gray fog was and didn't want to touch this strange thing, so he quickly hid.
Just then, his eyes subtly glanced to the right, a subtle movement that Wes caught perfectly.
With a thought from Wes, the gray mist immediately changed direction and surged towards the direction Loki was looking.
As the gray fog drew closer, the figure of a woman gradually came into view.
It turns out to be Loki from another universe, a female version of Loki.
"asshole!"
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
Upon seeing this, the female Loki was furious and began to curse. She knew in her heart that Loki had just glanced at her on purpose, clearly using her as bait to lure away the dangerous gray fog.
This made her both angry and resentful, but she couldn't care less about settling scores with Loki at the moment; she could only think of a way to deal with the immediate crisis.
Loki, however, smirked, a look of smug satisfaction on his face. Holding a pair of short swords, he flashed and created several clones, all of whom charged toward Wes, as if to take him down in one fell swoop.
Wes, on the other hand, seemed not to have reacted in time, and just watched helplessly as the clone rushed over, and then was stabbed in the body by the short sword in the clone's hand.
Upon seeing this, Loki's smile froze instantly.
He had a bad feeling in his heart, because the feeling was wrong. He immediately realized that he had only stabbed the clone.
Just then, alarm bells rang in Loki's mind, but before he could react, it was too late.
"boom!!"
With a loud bang, the stabbed clone exploded instantly. The enormous impact was like a bomb exploding, creating a huge mushroom cloud with billowing smoke and dust spreading in all directions.
As the smoke and dust gradually dissipated, Loki was seen standing there, covered in wounds, his once exquisite armor now tattered and in a sorry state, panting heavily, his eyes filled with astonishment and resentment. He never expected that his scheme would not only fail but also get him killed. He had truly tried to steal a chicken but lost the rice instead.
