Chapter 403 The Laws of Time

With a blinding flash of light, the time portal was finally opened, and Wes brazenly and swaggered through it, infiltrating the Time Mutation Management Bureau.

He hovered in the air, emanating a mysterious and powerful aura. His eyes held curiosity and scrutiny, like an explorer who had stumbled upon a mysterious treasure trove, observing his surroundings with great interest.

Is this the place that manages the timelines of the multiverse?

A group of fully armed men quickly emerged from various passages. They ran with practiced ease and soon surrounded Wes.

These people wore specially made uniforms with various intricate patterns, had uniquely shaped weapons at their waists, and wore helmets with goggles, looking very well-trained.

But Wes didn't take them seriously. He just narrowed his eyes slightly and released a wisp of his mental energy to sense them. He immediately discovered that there was no special energy fluctuation on these people. To put it bluntly, they were just a group of ordinary people.

This made Wes somewhat puzzled, and he wondered to himself: Are these ordinary people managing countless timelines?

The Time Mutation Administration is a mysterious place that controls the timeline of the entire multiverse. Logically speaking, it should be full of powerful experts.

But now that I've already infiltrated the interior, I haven't discovered a single expert. Could it be that all the experts are hiding, waiting for me to reveal a weakness before suddenly striking?

Or is there some other reason?

To find out, Wes decided to test the waters. He simply raised his hand, and an incredibly powerful magical force instantly erupted from his palm, sweeping outwards like a surging torrent.

Under the influence of this magic, a giant tornado appeared out of thin air. The tornado was like a black dragon emerging from the abyss, roaring and baring its fangs. Its body was enormous, and wherever it went, tables, chairs, equipment, documents and all kinds of things were mercilessly rolled up, swirling in the air and then being violently flung in all directions.

Those surrounding Wes were not spared either, screaming as they were swept into the tornado, their bodies spinning uncontrollably with the wind. Some were even thrown against the wall, groaning in pain.

The tornado raged through the management bureau, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Deep scratches were left on the walls, chandeliers were ripped off the ceiling and shattered into glass shards on the floor, and various sophisticated instruments and equipment were destroyed, with sparks flying everywhere.

What puzzled Wes was that the tornado was running rampant within the Administration Bureau, causing such great destruction, yet no one intervened. Was it because no one could stop it, or did they simply not care about the damage?

Wes grew increasingly curious and wary. He hovered silently in the air, his eyes scanning his surroundings warily, waiting to see what might happen next.

"Expel him!!"

Mr. Paradox's face turned ashen, veins bulging on his forehead, as he issued the order in a hoarse voice.

At this command, a mysterious instrument resembling a giant cannon was hurriedly pushed out by several staff members. The instrument shimmered with a strange blue light and was covered with complex and intricate patterns.

It was steadily placed on a specially made base, and then the muzzle slowly rose, accurately aiming at Wes, who was suspended in the air.

Immediately afterwards, there was a "whoosh" sound.

An energy blast, gleaming with an eerie light and accompanied by a whistling wind, shot out from the cannon's muzzle at an astonishing speed, instantly traversing a long distance and heading straight for Wes.

The power of this energy blast was beyond imagination; it pierced straight through Wes's magical shield.

Seeing this, Wes used the Summoning Charm.

In an instant, a chair not far away seemed to be drawn by some powerful force, and with a "whoosh," it flew towards Wes, barely blocking his way.

But the moment the chair made contact with the energy blast, a bizarre scene unfolded. The chair was completely erased as if it had never existed in the world, as if it had been forcibly wiped out of the timeline by an invisible force.

Wes silently warned himself: I absolutely cannot get hit by this thing!

At this moment, the alarm was still blaring loudly within the Time Mutation Administration. Troops quickly assembled, and one after another, equally terrifying cannons were pushed out and lined up neatly on both sides of the wide passage. The dark muzzles of the cannons gleamed with a dangerous cold light, all aimed at Wes.

At the same time, countless heavily armed soldiers surged in from all directions. They were dressed in uniform black uniforms, wore helmets with goggles, and held strangely shaped guns in their hands. Without exception, the muzzles of their guns were pointed at Wes. The scene was spectacular, but also full of deadly danger.

In the blink of an eye, energy projectiles rained down on Wes like a dense downpour.

These energy blasts are no ordinary objects; they contain mysterious and obscure rules of time. Once hit by one, the consequences are unimaginable. One might be swept into an endless temporal turbulence and lost forever, or have a part of one's body instantly erased, just like that poor chair.

"The Puppet".

In the critical moment, Wes gave a low shout and his hands moved rapidly, unleashing his unique manipulation magic.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

As if summoned by some force, the surrounding iron elements rapidly converged and coalesced, instantly forming a gigantic female figure over ten meters tall. Her face was stern, her figure agile, and her hands firmly cradled Wes in her palms, as if guarding a rare treasure.

As soon as the puppet appeared, it immediately shielded Wes from the rain of energy projectiles that struck the puppet.

Pitholes appeared where the objects were hit.

But Wes knew in his heart that although the puppet was strong, it could not withstand such a dense and powerful attack for long.

In an attempt to find a way out, Wes tentatively launched an attack using elemental magic, manipulating elements such as fire, water, and earth to sweep towards the cannons and soldiers.

However, to his astonishment, these elemental spells were ruthlessly erased by the time laws contained within them the moment they touched the energy projectiles.

It vanished into nothingness, leaving only emptiness.

With a furrowed brow, Wes knew he had to come up with a solution as soon as possible under this powerful offensive.
