Chapter 450 Flames

Hela was overwhelmed by Thor's rapid and relentless attacks, her mind seemingly in a state of chaos, all her thoughts scattered and jumbled by the sudden onslaught.

She felt stars flashing before her eyes, and her ears were filled with the whooshing sound of fists hitting the air and her own rapid breathing.

Out of her most instinctive defensive reaction, she quickly crossed her arms to protect her head, trying to find a moment to catch her breath amidst the fierce attack.

Thor's fists rained down with overwhelming force, each strike containing a powerful force interwoven with the laws of light and lightning.

The moment the fist collided with Hela's arms, it was as if a dazzling fireworks display was ignited in the air.

The deafening sound, like a thousand thunderclaps, echoed endlessly throughout the palace.

A powerful surge of energy swept outwards, seemingly drawing everything around into an endless vortex of energy. Even space itself was slightly distorted and deformed by the impact of this force, like ripples spreading across a calm lake after a boulder has been thrown in.

Hela's anger burned ever more fiercely, as if being doused with buckets of fuel.

She had always been a high and mighty figure, someone no one dared to defy. When had she ever suffered such a humiliating disgrace, being ridden beneath someone and attacked at will, her dignity trampled to pieces?

This was an unbearable pain for her, who was proud and arrogant.

Finally, Hela's rage reached its peak after this series of blows, erupting like a long-suppressed volcano. Two raging flames of hatred instantly ignited in her eyes, the anger and killing intent within them sending chills down one's spine. The dark aura surrounding her grew increasingly intense, like a surging black tide, threatening to drag the entire world into an endless abyss of darkness, devouring it completely.

"Have you had enough fun?"

Hela's roar sounded like a howl from hell, filled with boundless rage.

Suddenly, he exerted force with both hands and gripped Thor's wrists tightly.

Using the strength of his legs and waist, he swung Thor away violently, like throwing a weightless rag bag.

Thor's body was like a cannonball fired from a gun.

How could Hela easily let go of the person who had humiliated her? The hatred in her heart gnawed at her like a venomous snake.

In a flash, she caught up with Thor in the air.

She reached out, her hand enveloped in the power of death, and slammed Thor's head down onto the ground.

Propelled by this unimaginably powerful force, Thor's body charged wildly, smashing deep cracks into the ground wherever he went.

The surrounding buildings collapsed under the impact of this force.

The entire palace was instantly reduced to ruins, with broken walls and rubble appearing and disappearing in the dust.

Loki was extremely anxious to see Thor in such a dangerous situation and wanted to rush over to help.

Just as he was about to rush out, Wes stopped him.

There's only one way now.

Hela's power comes from Asgard, an ancient kingdom that carries countless glories and histories, which provides her with a continuous source of strength.

If Asgard is destroyed, Hela will lose her source of power and become like a clawless beast, vulnerable to attack.

"You mean?"

Loki's face showed shock, his eyes wide open, as if he couldn't believe his guess.

Ragnarok.

Loki instantly understood Wes's meaning, and a hint of struggle flashed in his eyes.

On the one hand, he knew that this was the only way at present, and the last hope to save Asgard and everyone else;

On the other hand, he was filled with fear and unease about triggering this apocalyptic war, after all, it meant the destruction of Asgard, his home.

But soon, Loki's eyes hardened, and he gritted his teeth.

At this critical moment of life and death, there is no time for hesitation or retreat.

He took a deep breath, calmed his inner turmoil, nodded, and said, "I understand."

To trigger Ragnarok, Surtur must be summoned.

From the moment of his birth, Surtur was destined to destroy Asgard; his existence was for this apocalyptic war.

His legend has been circulating in Asgard for a long time, and he is regarded by the Asgardian gods as the most terrible calamity.

However, to summon Surtur, one needs his crown and the Eternal Flame, both of which are kept in Odin's treasury.

Fortunately, Weiss seemed to have anticipated all of this.

He solemnly handed the crown and the eternal fire to Loki.

Without delay, Loki immediately began the summoning ritual.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

He stood amidst ruins, surrounded by choking dust and the acrid smell of gunpowder.

In the ruins, broken walls and rubble swayed precariously in the wind, as if mourning the impending apocalypse.

The air around him seemed to be drawn by his magic, and began to spin rapidly, forming a small storm vortex.

He muttered incantations in a deep, mysterious voice, as if traveling through a time tunnel from the ancient mythological era, conversing with ancient deities.

As he chanted, the crown in his hand slowly rose, emitting an eerie light. The light flickered like will-o'-the-wisps in the night sky, sometimes bright, sometimes dim, making it impossible to fathom.

Loki slowly tossed the crown into the eternal fire. The flames instantly enveloped the crown, sizzling as if devouring a precious treasure.

In an instant, a huge fiery face appeared in the crown, burning with raging flames that seemed to be telling an ancient curse.

The eyes on that face exuded endless majesty and an aura of destruction, inspiring awe in those who beheld them.

Immediately afterwards, a huge head slowly emerged from the flames. The head was as large as a mountain and was covered with the marks of time and mysterious runes.

Then, Surtur's enormous body broke free of the palace's restraints and appeared before everyone.

His body seemed to be made of flames and lava, with every inch of his skin flowing with scorching magma and radiating rolling heat waves.

Surtur roared to the heavens, his voice like rolling thunder, shaking the earth and making the whole world tremble at his roar. "I have come, Asgard!!!"

His height exceeds 1,000 meters, resembling a moving fiery mountain. Wherever he goes, the air is heated to the extreme, making a "crackling" sound.

He wielded a flaming greatsword, its blade ablaze with flames that seemed capable of igniting the entire world. The light it emitted illuminated the sky, making everything around him appear so small and fragile.

"Damn it! What did you do?!"

When Hela saw Surtur appear, she was shocked and her expression froze instantly.

She also knew the legends of Surtur and Ragnarok, and understood what that meant.

She immediately turned her head, abandoning her attack on Thor, her eyes filled with fear and anger, and attacked Surtur.
