Chapter 124 September 17th

Philip was overthinking it. He chewed the bread and suddenly felt his mouth get dry again, so he drank the glass of water in his hand. With the water moistening it, the oat bread became soft and smooth, and he swallowed it easily.

"January 1st, the beginning of a new year, and I just finished making my first 'Blasphemy Card'."

"I will hide the ultimate secrets contained in the twenty-two divine paths within these different 'blasphemous cards' and scatter them in various places. If things fail, this will be my children's greatest reliance."

As Philip was reading the last page of his diary, he was about to put the last half of a slice of bread into his mouth when he caught a glimpse of the contents out of the corner of his eye, and his hand froze in mid-air.

Blasphemy

He raised his eyebrows slightly, his interest immediately piqued. He pushed the bread with his hand, stuffed it into his mouth, and then, with his freed hands supporting him on the table, he silently read in his mind.

"Haha, I will destroy all the order you desire and spread the mysteries of God! These 'blasphemous cards' will possess anti-divination and anti-prophecy properties. Apart from the portion left for my children, those with the right destiny will obtain them!"

"I'm the kind of person who always settles scores and avenges wrongs. After I die, who cares if the world is in chaos! Hmm, I didn't create that saying. Anyway, the more chaotic the world of mystery, the better!"

Something was wrong with Emperor Roselle. Philip's raised eyebrows furrowed. Even though the diary in front of him was not the original manuscript, he could still tell from the contents the state of the diary's owner, Roselle Gustave, at that time.

If the earlier statement, "I will destroy all the order you want," was just an angry outburst, or perhaps he was forced into a corner by the existence of what appeared to be the Seven Gods, then the later statement, "The more chaotic the structure of the mysterious world, the better," seems rather odd.

This transmigrator, who is essentially still a person who has received nine years of compulsory education and attended high school and university, could not possibly suddenly become so extreme. "If things fail, this will be my children's greatest support." This is clearly the problem with this statement.

Emperor Roselle is plotting something very important, which is unacceptable to the Seven Gods, so he needs to disrupt the order and distract everyone's attention.

Indeed, the Fifth Age is different from the Fourth Age, which is known as the "Age of the Gods." Although the seven orthodox gods rarely perform miracles anymore, the angels under their command and the church's vast system and influence should not be underestimated.

But what's the point?!

This kind of confidential information, besides being good for showing off, doesn't bring any real benefit. Great Emperor, don't you have any diaries filled with potion recipes? Oh, the Blasphemy Token, never mind then.

Philip suddenly recalled the first time he came into contact with the Blasphemy Tablet. At that time, he had also suspected that it was related to the Blasphemy Tablet, but he never expected that the connection between the two was so profound.

Unfortunately, that page of the diary made no mention of the whereabouts of the "Judge's" blasphemous token, essentially revealing the conditions for opening the treasure chest but not its location.

Forget it, I'll just wash up and go to bed, and wait for my promotion.

September 17, 17 Braun Street.

The midday sun streamed through the convex mirror, filling the room. Philip, lounging on the sofa reading the newspaper, couldn't help but ask Klein, who had just come out of the kitchen, "Didn't anyone ask you to look for the cat or dog today?"

Over the past few days, although he, as the author of "Sherlock," has not revealed his address, the name "Sherlock Moriarty" Klein has still played a role to some extent.

People in at least these two blocks usually come to check on this so-called Sherlock's abilities if they lose anything important or their cats or dogs go missing.

Although Klein always managed to resolve cases perfectly through divination, the impact he created in such a short time was clearly insufficient. For truly serious cases, the middle class would still choose a renowned detective who was already famous.

"It will take more time."

Klein smiled wryly.

Even if he did, he probably wouldn't agree now, since the tarot session is in three hours. If he hasn't resolved the request by then, he can't just look for the cat and dog and then say he needs to go to the bathroom for about half an hour.

If I accidentally offend them, I'm afraid I'll never get any more commissions in the future. Klein shook his head helplessly. Seeing that the large sofa was already occupied by Philip lying down, he found the single sofa on the right and sat down.

"Speaking of which, you've already finished digesting your 'Werewolf' potion, haven't you?"

After glancing at the newspaper for about ten seconds, Klein seemed to have thought of something and asked, "Is there any news on the subsequent potion formulas?"

As things stand, it would be extremely beneficial for Philip to advance to Sequence Six, since even in Backlund, Sequence Six would be enough to form a secret squad of extraordinary individuals.

"It's been around for a while now." Philip lay on the sofa, propping his chin up, and sighed helplessly. "But if we're lucky, it might be available this week."

If the sun is on our side.

He had already obtained all the extraordinary characteristics of the "living corpse" and the potion recipe, but he was stuck on the last auxiliary material. He even had the urge to directly consume the extraordinary characteristics to advance.

After all, during the Second Age, there were no magic potions for any living beings to advance in rank; they basically advanced by directly consuming extraordinary properties, although humans probably couldn't withstand such advancement.

However, it is undeniable that as the population increases, there will be quite a few lucky individuals who will directly consume extraordinary traits to become extraordinary or even advance in rank. But the probability is so low that it would be a pity not to take the "monster" route.

So, the request Philip made to "The Sun" at the Tarot meeting was for auxiliary materials for the "Living Corpse" potion, right? Klein nodded and said nothing more.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Time passed quietly like this.

2:30 PM.

"I'm going to my bedroom to take a nap."

Ok?

Upon hearing Klein's words, Philip was momentarily taken aback, but then calmly nodded. After all, there was still a full half hour before the Tarot meeting, and there was no suspect at the meeting.

It's impossible that the other party is a fool.

With the Joker's keen ability to detect expressions, Klein breathed a slight sigh of relief after confirming that the other party hadn't thought too much about it. He then went back upstairs and into his bedroom.

He locked the bedroom door, drew the curtains, then lay on his side on the bed, pretending to take a nap. After 15 minutes, he got up again, used "Holy Night Powder" to create a spiritual wall, and took four steps backward to reach the gray fog.

Dear readers, please forgive me. I've only been able to update twice a day for the past two days because I've been dragged into studying for my driver's license theory test. I need to practice my study hours and answer questions to get a score of 90 before taking the test. I'll see if I can manage to get back to double updates tomorrow.
