Mystery: Starting from the Shadow World
Chapter 47 The 3th Tarot Meeting
Chapter 47 The Third Tarot Meeting
The unexpected good news allowed him to immediately adjust his mindset, sit up and begin to carefully contemplate the situation, and then confirm his guess—without a doubt, the "madman" potion he had just taken was being digested.
What does this mean? I just couldn't help but curse a few times in the Shadow World. Perhaps, the restraint I usually exercise is for a burst of power at a critical moment. The doctrine of moderation, is this the complete or partial rule of playing the role of a "madman"?
The digestion process, which had previously stalled, suddenly started to move forward slightly again. Philip silently memorized this rule, then composed himself and got up to walk towards the bathroom.
The following day, at 2:59 PM.
With nothing to do, Philip sat on the sofa for more than half an hour thinking about playing the role of the rules. Then, a dazzling deep red appeared before his eyes, quickly engulfing him and taking him to the Tarot meeting.
The familiar Mr. Hanged Man, the familiar Ms. Justice, the familiar Mr. Fool.
After listening quietly to Miss Justice's greeting and responding, Philip turned his head to look at Alger beside him, waiting for the answer he had already anticipated.
"There has been no progress yet."
Alger's answer was simple and straightforward.
Upon hearing this, Philip nodded, ending the formality. Turning back to look at the front, he keenly noticed that the glittering stars on the back of the chair where "Justice" Audrey sat formed a symbol:
In mysticism, the symbol represents the "dragon"!
What does that mean? Because "Justice" became an extraordinary being, this space reacted to it? Probably, otherwise it's hard to explain. Philip stroked his chin and quickly came up with a reasonable guess.
Wait, if you say that...
He turned his head to look behind him, and sure enough, he found his own occult symbols on the back of the chair he was sitting on.
An arm with sharp claws, already showing signs of mutation, was tightly bound by several bandages. On either side of the arm, sharp nails, symbols of punishment, were about to pierce through; the thought of such pain was enough to send shivers down one's spine.
Is this my symbol?
Philip reviewed his memory and, finding he had no recollection of it, could only assume it for the time being. He then turned his head to meet the "Hanged Man's" gaze and they exchanged glances.
Behind the other person is a symbol of a "storm".
Damn it, why is it me who's not right? Philip's eyelids twitched, and he subconsciously started to get a headache. After all, he really didn't want to experience any more accidents these days, not even the slightest one.
Because this often leads to extremely dangerous situations. Although he survived them, it doesn't mean he can keep doing so forever.
So Philip simply gave up thinking about it.
Meanwhile, "The Fool" Klein sat there quietly the whole time, but in reality, he had already looked through all the symbols of the three members. After confirming that everyone had finished looking at them, he gently tapped the table with his finger to draw their attention back.
He looked at Audrey, a slight smile playing on his lips, and said, "Congratulations, Miss 'Justice,' you are now an extraordinary being."
Audrey was taken aback, but quickly recovered and expressed her approval. She sincerely thanked the Fool and the Hanged Man for allowing her to enter the realm of the extraordinary.
After that topic ended, Klein glanced at Philip, lowered his eyes to hide his speechless thoughts, then quickly looked away and said with a smile:
"I don't know if you've found Russell's diary. Hehe, if it's really difficult, it's not a problem. I don't mind waiting until next time."
Although he said it was okay if he didn't find it, the three people present heard it completely differently. If he couldn't play a role in this self-presentation segment, his status at future tarot gatherings would undoubtedly become awkward.
"I found two pages of Emperor Roselle's diary and memorized their contents," Alger said after a moment's thought, seeing that no one else had spoken first.
"I have a page," Audrey said calmly, seemingly without any particular thought.
After both of them had given their answers, Philip finally made up his mind: "I found two pages of Roselle's diary."
"Well done, Philip, how dare you say that?" Klein thought to himself, while simultaneously suppressing his resentment and trying to genuinely praise him with a smile.
"Very good."
It would be even better if Philip didn't use those few pages from Blackthorn Security.
Although that's what he said, he couldn't possibly actually jump up and tell the other person that their diaries were no good, that he had already read them.
Klein could only force himself to ignore this extremely frustrating situation, avoiding any unnecessary actions that might allow "Miss Justice," who had just become an "audience member," to notice anything.
Philip, Audrey, and Alger quickly copied the contents of Russell's diary from their memories onto the brown parchment on the table, and then handed it to "The Fool" Klein.
Seeing that the diary given to him by Philip was placed on top, Klein did not make his actions seem strange. He glanced over it and read through the contents again.
If you deliberately control your reading speed, it might backfire and even cause strange behavior. On average, reading a little faster won't hurt. Anyway, I have dream divination to recall Klein. While thinking this, I gently turned a page.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
The three pages of the diary kept by the Night Watch team, although only copies, are undoubtedly almost identical to the original, while the ones submitted by Audrey and Alger have problems with typos and omissions.
However, he had seen everything online before and had been through countless trials and tribulations, so this little difficulty was no problem for him.
One Piece, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, an unnamed island, his unexpected marriage to Matilda, and becoming a "General Knowledge Person," thus regaining control of the knowledge he learned on Earth.
Overall, it's not very useful.
Aside from that unnamed island, which is of interest.
At the next tarot reading, I'll add another page from the diary. Together with these three pages, I can pay off my debt to Philip. It's a pity I still owe 80 pounds. Having made his decision, Klein put the diary down and then softly apologized:
"Hopefully this didn't keep you waiting too long."
A hint of envy flickered in Audrey's eyes, but it quickly disappeared, and she smiled calmly, "Of course not, that's understandable. I look forward to the day when I can exchange the contents of Russell's diary with you."
Of course! I'd love for you to bring me more diaries! Klein was pondering this when he suddenly thought of Philip, who was also sitting there. He narrowed his eyes and began to worry that this guy might secretly steal his diaries.
Probably not.
