Mystery: Starting from the Shadow World
Chapter 73 Plan
Chapter 73 Plan
The Plaque of Blasphemy.
After encountering this unfamiliar term, Philip thought about it as best he could, only to find that there was only one answer that could be related to it—the blasphemous tablet that recorded 22 paths to godhood.
Of course, there's much more to it than just this. Philip was just being optimistic that he had obtained extremely important information, but whether it was accurate or not was beyond his current ability to judge.
Philip's hesitation vanished in an instant. He clenched the open page back into his hand and mentally abandoned the potentially suicidal decision.
He could try to pay attention to the blasphemous cards, but he couldn't keep the diary hidden. The methods of the gods were beyond the comprehension of mortals; they might be able to see through someone's thoughts without making a sound.
Even though Mr. Fool had said that the collected entries could be submitted in exchange for a reward, he never said that every page of the diary had to be submitted, and Philip was not prepared to gamble.
Moreover, there's absolutely no way to find it.
Three o'clock in the afternoon, above the gray fog.
Audrey greeted everyone as usual, then looked at Philip and said, "Those two properties have been sold. Mr. 'Temperance,' have you received the money?"
Of course, I didn't leave a single penny in the account; I withdrew it all. Philip was in a great mood after hearing Miss "Justice" mention this, but he still nodded and said calmly, "Yes."
I wonder how much money he has. I wonder if I could even scrape together a fraction of it if I sold my whole body. Klein, sitting high above, smiled bitterly to himself, but still maintained the air of a fool, calmly surveying the three people present.
Alger still hadn't returned to land, and Audrey apologized slightly, saying she hadn't gained anything, but then added, "Mr. Fool, I've met two Extraordinary Ones, and I'm now trying to find a legitimate way to contact them and attend an Extraordinary Ones gathering."
"No need to rush." Klein smiled and nodded slightly, clearly approving of Audrey's cautious and prudent behavior.
Although he didn't have high expectations, Klein still turned his attention to Philip, only to receive a somewhat surprising answer:
"Mr. Fool, I have found two pages of Russell's diary."
Two pages, that reliable? Surprised, Klein still smiled and praised him, then took the parchment the other person had "expressed," ran his fingertips over it, and immersed himself in reading:
"March 6th, damn it, the food here is making me constipated!"
"Are all the ladies in Intis this open on March 17th? Did I sleep with her, or did she sleep with me? Something feels a little strange."
"This is such a niche language," Klein thought, his eyelids twitching as he muttered about Emperor Roselle's "glorious deeds," before patiently continuing to read.
The first page recounts the early days of this time-traveling predecessor, when he had just joined the Craftsmen's Church and hadn't even become an Extraordinary yet. But what will the blasphemous tablet on the second page be?
After finishing reading the two pages of the diary, Klein waved his hand, making it disappear from the space. Then he leaned back in his chair, pondering the meaning of the blasphemous card.
"You may begin."
That being said, since there were no new members joining and there really weren't any major events worth discussing recently, the three members of the Tarot Club barely managed to chat about some things based on the few recent news items, making the end of the gathering less boring.
Even so, when Philip returned to reality and looked at the clock on the wall, he realized that only twenty minutes had passed, and there was still quite a while before the Brave Ones Bar opened in the evening.
He didn't waste any time. Instead, he took advantage of this brief moment of leisure to complete another "Ember" talisman to replenish the energy he had used to resist the Full Moon Curse two days earlier. Only then did he set off in Jane Charlotte's appearance.
Every time he transforms into a woman, he has to go to the East District transfer station to transform back into a man, and then he has to rush to the Backlund Bridge area. It's such a hassle. Philip walked out the door and stroked the "Silver White" ring on his hand, thinking with a bit of helplessness.
I'll rent a one-bedroom apartment in the bridge area later.
Iron Gate Street, Brave Ones Bar.
While the bartender remained silent, Philip finally paid five pence for a cup of South Wales beer to find out Caspass's location. After confirming with Caspass that Marich was coming to the place that night, he followed him directly into the card room.
"You've arrived."
Maric still wore that indifferent expression. Although he didn't look too good after the full moon two days ago, he was still much better than when they first met.
Philip nodded. "Yes, I think I have enough money now."
Marich didn't ask much about the source of his wealth, but after confirming that it was over 2000 pounds, he said, "The address is 3 Schel Street, Queens. Knock three times in a row and two times in a row. Whether it's a disguise or not is up to the participants. There's a party tomorrow."
"Is there anything else I should be aware of?" Philip was a little uneasy about Queens, a place where only the aristocracy lived, and continued to ask questions.
"Stay calm, and..." Maric's fierceness turned to apprehension and even a hint of fear as he warned in a deep, serious voice:
"Stay away from the party organizer, Mr. A."
Mr. A sounds like a pillar of the secret organization, one of the strongest below the high sequence, possibly even a Sequence 5. Philip nodded, then continued, "If I want to raise an extraordinary pet, what should I do?"
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
"An extraordinary pet?"
Marich frowned, glanced at him, and said, "Then you'll need the help of a 'Beast Tamer.' As far as I know, a 'Beast Tamer' can help animals withstand the power of the potion without going out of control or dying."
Seeking the power of other extraordinary beings
Philip had expected an answer that required special ritual magic or some auxiliary means, but this was the answer he got, which gave him a headache, so he had no choice but to give up for the time being.
He sincerely thanked him and prepared to leave, but Maric's deep voice rang out again:
"Can your 'embers' make more?"
Philip blinked, not hiding his confusion and astonishment: "Well, aside from taking a little time, everything else is fine, but why do you need so much?"
The full moon has only been two days ago.
"Hoo," Marich closed his eyes and exhaled calmly. His two clenched fists were pressed against his chin, and his pale face was trying hard to suppress some kind of emotion.
"We are still being hunted by the libertarians in Backlund, but it's much better than before. Now we have an opportunity, and if we succeed, we can completely get rid of the danger we are in now."
"We need your help to implement this plan."
