Full-Time Magister: My Elements Evolve Infinitely

Chapter 25: Can't I participate in the welcome program?

Lin Yu and the two were not going the same way, so they parted ways.

He walked towards the Fire Department. The admission notice stated that it was a dual-department program, but it required him to report to the Fire Department first to check the dormitory assignments.

In the fire department's freshman registration office, Lin Yu met the female teacher in business attire he had met three months ago.

She was much more enthusiastic when she saw Lin Yu this time.

He was basically not asked to do anything, and the female tutor quickly entered his information into the system.

After getting his dormitory number, Lin Yu left and headed towards his dormitory. The pink suitcase was a bit eye-catching, so he had to put it back quickly.

As soon as Lin Yu reached the dormitory building, he saw someone.

The man had a head of permed, curly, medium-length hair, and his face resembled that of a prince from a fairy tale. He was dressed in simple sportswear, and beside him stood a woman with a very hot figure, wearing a school uniform, who looked at him with some reluctance.

"Senior, I'll contact you once I'm all packed up, and we can go out to eat together."

"I'll go up first."

As Lin Yu passed by the two, he felt that the man looked very familiar.

The two walked towards the dormitory building one after the other without saying a word.

Soon enough, the two were standing at the same dormitory entrance.

"What a coincidence! I didn't expect that we would end up in the same dormitory after walking all this way. Let me introduce myself. My name is Zhao Manyan, and I major in Optical Engineering."

His smile was very warm, giving people a very kind feeling.

"Fire-type Lin Yu!"

Lin Yu smiled and finally understood where this sense of familiarity came from. This guy was described in a lot of detail in the original work, and he was also a big spender.

However, he also had some doubts.

Zhao Manyan and Mo Fan are in the same dormitory, so does that mean Mo Fan is also in this dormitory?

"Fire element? That senior was right after all. It seems our dorm is going to be a mixed-element dorm."

Zhao Manyan looked helpless, but then his expression became mysterious. He nudged Lin Yu with his shoulder and said, "Have you heard?"

"Your fire element has a formidable newcomer, a dual-elemental student specializing in both fire and summoning."

Lin Yu's expression remained unchanged, but he was secretly pondering to himself.

Has this news become so widespread? How come everyone knows about it?

Did you see him when you reported for duty?

Zhao Manyan continued to ask.

Lin Yu snapped out of her daze, smiled at him, and said, "No."

"That's true. Maybe he went straight to the 'Summoning Department' to report for duty. This is the first time since the founding of Pearl Academy. I wonder what kind of ability that guy has."

After Zhao Manyan finished speaking, he let out a deep sigh.

"Alright, whatever. No matter how powerful he is, he's still just like us, with two eyes and one nose."

"When the time comes, we will naturally find out."

"Let's go in, we don't want someone else to take the good beds."

Lin Yu quickly ended the topic. Even he couldn't stand being praised by others, and he wanted to see if Mo Fan was there too.

However, Zhao Manyan is indeed amazing; he was so reluctant to part with his senior sister as soon as they met.

Upon entering the dormitory, Lin Yu looked directly towards the bathroom, where, sure enough, there was already a boy washing up.

"Oh, someone actually came. I thought we were early enough." Zhao Manyan glanced at Lin Yu, then looked at the boy in the restroom. "My name is Zhao Manyan, and I major in Light Magic."

Lin Yu thought for a moment and then spoke up, "Lin Yu, fire element."

My name is Mo Fan.

The man's voice in the bathroom was a little muffled, but Lin Yu still heard it clearly.

Since he was also a 'Summoning' type, he had already planned how to get along with Mo Fan, whom he might encounter, before coming to 'Pearl Academy'.

Throughout the entire French world, he possesses a cheat-like ability: elements can evolve infinitely, and even summoned beasts can evolve.

If Mo Fan goes his own way, then all will be well. But if he gets in the way of making money, then he won't tolerate it.

While Zhao Manyan was still chatting with Mo Fan, Lin Yu found a bed and put his things away.

Just as Lin Yu was about to tidy up, his phone rang.

He opened it and glanced at it; it was sent by the fire-elemental office lady teacher from before.

"Director Wei asked me to inform you to go to the principal's office."

Lin Yu frowned as he read the message.

Principal's office?

What could it be that Dean Xiao wants to see me about?

After thinking for a moment, he put away his phone, greeted Zhao Manyan whom he had just met, and walked out the door.

Mo Fan frowned slightly as he looked at Lin Yu's figure. "This guy seems familiar...where have I seen him before?"

Principal's Office.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Lin Yu had been here before during the special recruitment trial assessment, so this time he was familiar with the place.

He knocked on the office door.

After hearing the response from inside, he pushed open the door and went in.

"Good morning, Dean!" As soon as he entered, Lin Yu bowed to Dean Xiao.

This was the patron who approved his entry into both factions.

Upon seeing this, Dean Xiao and a mentor standing nearby exchanged a glance, both displaying strange expressions.

"Alright kid, I called you here today because I have something to discuss with you."

Hearing Dean Xiao's familiar voice, Lin Yu raised his head.

He then noticed that besides Dean Xiao, there was another mentor in the office who looked quite young.

"This is Jiang Yunming, the instructor of the Summoning Department," Dean Xiao introduced to Lin Yu, pointing to the instructor.

Lin Yu smiled at Dean Xiao, then greeted Jiang Yunming, "Hello, Teacher Jiang."

"You're Lin Yu, a mid-level summoner? A contracted creature or a 'warrior-level'?"

Jiang Yunming looked Lin Yu up and down, his expression full of curiosity.

"Yes, teacher."

Lin Yu scratched his head and chuckled.

"Alright, you teachers and students can chat another time. Xiao Jiang, let's get down to business."

Dean Xiao raised his hand to interrupt the two's pleasantries and nodded to Jiang Yunming.

Jiang Yunming nodded and asked Lin Yu directly, "Lin Yu, have you heard about our 'Pearl Academy's' welcome program?"

Lin Yu nodded.

"That's good." Jiang Yunming nodded. "The reason I called you here is because of this matter. Neither Dean Xiao nor I want you to participate in this year's 'Welcome Program' directly."

Hearing this, Lin Yu frowned.

Are they not allowed to participate?

The welcome program in the original work offers quite a few rewards, such as "Beast Blood" and "various resources." If we can't participate, wouldn't we have no way to obtain them?

"Don't rush." Seeing Lin Yu frown, Jiang Yunming spoke again, "It's not that you're participating, but if the Summoning Department can't withstand the challenges from 100 students in turn, you'll be the last one from the Summoning Department to go up."

"If the Summoning system withstands the attacks of 100 students in succession, it's up to you whether you go up or not, but you can only go up as a Fire-type."

"In the middle, you'd better not make a move. Otherwise, with your mid-level strength in two elements, this welcome program will be meaningless."
