Full-Time Magister: My Elements Evolve Infinitely

Chapter 3 The Fat Sheep Comes Knocking

Old Bao looked at the ball of silver-blue flame flying towards him, but didn't react much.

He simply raised his hand slowly, condensing a tiny vortex of wind in his palm, and sent it towards Lin Yu's 'Taiyin True Fire'.

But soon.

He stared wide-eyed.

"This!! How is this possible??"

As the silver-blue flames came into contact with the vortex of wind, the flames, which were expected to be blown away, were not affected. However, the vortex of wind quickly weakened after touching the silver-blue flames.

It felt as if all the original wind magic elements had been completely consumed.

As the whirlwind disappeared, the silver-blue flames landed directly on Old Man Bao.

"Old man, why aren't you dodging?" Seeing this, Lin Yu was startled and hurriedly spoke, trying to extinguish his flames.

"Kid, who do you think you are?"

Old Man Bao's expression hardened, and his aura surged, causing the silver-blue flames that had landed on him to dissipate instantly.

Although he said that, he was actually shocked.

This fire can actually have a direct effect on the soul.

The sensation upon being hit was icy, as if struck by ice magic, but the damage was caused by burning flames, and even the soul felt as if it were being scorched. This 'fire' was far too strange.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing for Xiaoyu.

"Old Bao, you're amazing!!"

"As expected of the founder of my Azure Sky Hunting Grounds, he is indeed a man of great talent and wisdom."

Seeing that Old Man Bao was alright, Lin Yu quickly showered him with compliments.

Just kidding, this is a forbidden spell of the Chaos type.

"Alright, alright, you're good at saying nice things." Old Bao glanced at Lin Yu sideways, stroked his beard, and continued, "Listen carefully to what I'm about to say."

Seeing that Old Man Bao looked serious, Lin Yu nodded.

"Your fire is no weaker than an ice-type 'spirit seed' mage of the same rank in terms of freezing ability, and far surpasses an ice-type 'spirit seed' fire-type mage of the same rank in terms of burning damage."

Upon hearing this, Lin Yu was overjoyed, and an excited expression appeared on his face.

Three years of hard work paid off. Three years!

The entire 4000 million commission was deposited into the system, converted into points, and then exchanged for two 'spirit seeds'.

In order to get two "Spirit Seeds", I've ended up taking on so many quests that I've become a "Hunter Master".

If it weren't for Old Man Bao giving me two more, I probably wouldn't have been able to evolve a second time.

"Kid, don't get cocky." Old Bao's voice interrupted Lin Yu's inner monologue.

At some point, Old Man Bao took out his pipe, took a slow puff, and his expression became even more serious.

"Your fire can indeed harm a person's 'soul,' and its power is equivalent to a weaker 'curse' of the same level. Moreover, the quality of your 'flame' is extremely high, and it has a faint 'domain' effect that can eliminate other magical elements."

"This isn't a good thing for you."

"You're very smart. I've watched you grow up since you were little, so I know your personality pretty well. You're quite precocious."

"You understand what I mean, right?"

Lin Yu, who was initially just happy, felt a little scared after hearing what Old Man Bao said.

It possesses the ability to freeze.

Its quality is extremely high, almost like a domain, capable of excluding other magical elements.

It can damage a mage's soul and has the function of 'curse' magic.

The damage caused by the flames far exceeds that of a fire mage of the same level.

These things, taken out of context and placed on a mid-level mage with two elemental magic, seem quite outstanding, but they wouldn't arouse too much jealousy or covetousness.

but.

These abilities exist simultaneously in one person, and they are the effects of a 'system' of magic.

That would attract some attention.

"Seeing you like this puts my mind at ease." Old Man Bao looked at Lin Yu's serious expression and breathed a sigh of relief. "But you don't need to be too afraid. You are my grandson, and I can still protect you to some extent."

Hearing what Old Man Bao said, Lin Yu snapped out of his thoughts.

I was also somewhat moved.

"Alright, hurry up and awaken your second element. I recommend you awaken the ice element; that way, your abilities will be more discreet." After saying that, Old Man Bao looked away.

He took a puff of his pipe and turned to leave.

"That grandpa with the bag, it really wasn't necessary."

"Do you still remember my old flame?" Lin Yu called out to the old man who was about to leave. Then, the silver flame in his hand disappeared, and a purplish-red flame appeared in his hand.

This flame is quite different from the 'True Yin Fire'.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

As the purplish-red flames appeared, the entire training room was filled with the explosive aura of fire elements.

"Hiss~" Seeing this, Old Man Bao's expression hardened. "Boy, this is the fire you've used after absorbing the 'Spirit Seed' for the first time! It's still usable?"

"I remember, after you absorbed the 'Spirit Seed' flame and evolved for the first time, didn't you lose control of ordinary fire elemental flames?"

Lin Yu chuckled and scratched his head.

This is what he discovered when he checked his mental space; he found that he can now use both types of flames.

"Okay, I understand."

"As long as you know what's good for you, and you also need to awaken your second magic as soon as possible. In a month, I'll take you to 'Pearl Academy' to participate in the special recruitment assessment. If you awaken a good 'spell' in your second spell, it will definitely be a plus for you."

After saying this, Old Man Bao left the training room with a pipe dangling from his mouth.

Lin Yu put away the 'Purple Star Heavenly Fire' in his hand and prepared to go downstairs to see if there were any new requests.

When he casually opened the system and glanced at what was needed for the third evolution of the fire element, he found...

He froze on the spot instantly.

The process of transforming "Taiyin True Fire" into "Taiyang True Fire" requires 3 Fire-type "Soul Seeds".

According to the system's online store, 10,000 yuan can be exchanged for 1 point.

A fire-type 'Soul Seed' requires 6 points to redeem.

That's 6 million!!!

Three 'Soul Seeds' equal 18 billion!!!

After settling the accounts, Lin Yu was completely distraught.

Damn! Didn't the original work say that an ordinary 'soul seed' only costs two or three hundred million?

The price of "Spirit Seeds" in the system shop is indeed similar to that in reality.

Why are there such big differences in 'soul seeds'?

Could it be?!

Suddenly, Lin Yu seemed to have thought of something.

In the original novel, Zhao Manyan mentioned that the value of a "soul seed" that can possess a domain is around 6 million.

Could it be that the fire-type soul seed required for the evolution of 'Taiyin True Fire' into 'Taiyang True Fire' isn't just an ordinary trash soul seed? Instead, it's three soul seeds worth six hundred million each?

Qingtian Hunting Grounds.

The welcome bell at the door rang.

A tall, slender girl with long, waist-length hair, who looked like a student, walked in.

Behind her.

Accompanying them was a giant rabbit with short blond hair and an adorable, youthful face.
