I am the son of the Dragon God in Douluo Continent.

After receiving the Dragon Emperor's approval, the reincarnated Dragon King slowly raised his left forepaw and conjured a symbol of rebellion in the air. Immediately, a light gate, as shimmering as water, quietly appeared in front of Xu Xingyu and Gu Qiuxi.

The Diamond Dragon King reached out with her claws, and when her claws reappeared, there was a crystal-clear dragon egg, as clear as jade in ice.

This dragon egg looked quite peculiar, its entire body pure white and translucent, as if carved from jade. Unlike a normal oblong egg, this dragon egg was perfectly round, resembling an enlarged glutinous rice ball. It was about one meter in diameter. It didn't seem very big when held in the hands of the reincarnated dragon king, but its enormous size became apparent when it was actually placed in front of Xu Xingyu and Gu Qiuxi.

The dragon egg even emitted a faint white halo, like a shimmering treasure. Although it didn't seem like much, Xu Xingyu could sense the immense magical power and vibrant life force contained within the dragon egg from that halo.

Good heavens! If Xu Xingyu is not mistaken, once this child is born, her cultivation level will be at least around the eighth or ninth level, which is much stronger than that of a normal newborn dragon!

What surprised Xu Xingyu the most was the child's bloodline. It wasn't just a combination of the Diamond Dragon and the Dragon Emperor's bloodline, but a pure Mountain Dragon King's bloodline!

Upon seeing this, Xu Xingyu couldn't help but exclaim, "So it turns out she experienced a reversion to her ancestral traits at birth, causing her to awaken the power of the Mountain Dragon King's bloodline! No wonder she encountered such a problem at birth!"

"Mountain Dragon King bloodline?" The Dragon Emperor frowned. "I've never heard of the Mountain Dragon race before. Is it a dragon race from another plane? How could my daughter possess such bloodline power?"

Irina, the Diamond Dragon King, hurriedly exclaimed, "Yes! We've never even heard of the Mountain Dragon race. How could my daughter have the blood of this so-called Mountain Dragon King?"

Seeing how nervous the Dragon Emperor and his wife were, Xu Xingyu knew she couldn't remain a riddle-maker and had to quickly explain things clearly, otherwise it would be her responsibility if the couple's relationship ran into problems.

Therefore, Xu Xingyu quickly recounted the scene she witnessed when she was recognized by the sacrificial artifact, the specific origins of the Five Elements Dragon Clan, and the connection between the Five Elements Dragon Clan and the Mountain Dragon King lineage.

After listening to Xu Xingyu's words, the Dragon Emperor was a little confused, after all, there was a lot of information. But in the end, he accepted the information, because the most important thing now was not the origin of the Dragon King's bloodline, but how to successfully hatch his child!

"So, according to you, the inheritor, this mutation might still be a good thing for my child? But if that's the case, why does awakening a Mountain Dragon King's bloodline cause my child's eggshell to become stronger, hindering her hatching?"

"It should be said that this awakening is both her fortune and her misfortune." Xu Xingyu sighed helplessly and said, "The Mountain Dragon lineage is the only one of the nine Dragon Kings that has not achieved racial success. The fundamental reason for this, apart from the fact that they would voluntarily transform into mountains for the dragon race every time they reached adulthood, is that their reproduction is more difficult than that of other dragon races."

"On the surface, the Mountain Dragon King lineage and the Earth Dragon King lineage both control the earth element. However, controlling the earth element is merely one of the variations in the power wielded by the Mountain Dragon King. The true attribute of the Mountain Dragon King is stability; they possess the power to stabilize everything in the world."

"Because of this stable attribute, the Mountain Dragon King lineage is known as the strongest shield of the dragon race. It can be said that apart from the original Dragon God, no one could break through the defense of the first Mountain Dragon King."

"This stable attribute, however, has given them the glory of having the strongest defense, but it has also made their reproduction extremely difficult. When many dragon eggs of the mountain dragon lineage are hatching, the power of their stable attribute will leak out at that moment to strengthen the eggshell. This also means that if the mountain dragon lineage wants to hatch, it needs a vitality far exceeding that of normal dragons."

"The problems your children face are the same problems that every generation of mountain dragons has faced at birth."

"Since such a thing has happened to the ancient dragon race, there should naturally be a solution, right?" Irina asked Xu Xingyu expectantly.

To be honest, she didn't really care how powerful the bloodline of this reverted mountain dragon king was. As a mother, she only cared about whether her child could be born and grow up healthy.

Xu Xingyu scratched his head and said, "Under normal circumstances, the best thing to do is to leave it alone. As mentioned before, the stable properties of the mountain dragon bloodline will strengthen the eggshell, so the incubation period of a mountain dragon is much longer than that of a normal dragon. If your child still cannot break open the dragon egg after 50,000 years, then you can conclude that your child is completely beyond saving."

"This... fifty thousand years?!?"

Although 50,000 years is not a very long time for a Dragon Emperor or a Diamond Dragon King, it is indeed a long time for the incubation period of a dragon egg.

It's worth noting that the normal incubation period for dragons is only about 5,000 to 10,000 years, but the incubation period for their children is five to ten times longer, which is quite exaggerated.

Seeing the worry in the eyes of the Dragon Emperor and his wife, Xu Xingyu continued, "If you want your child to hatch faster, I suggest placing the dragon egg in a place rich in life force, preferably one with a yin-type life force."

"Ultimately, the reason your child's birth was delayed is because her life force was insufficient to break through the solidified dragon egg. Therefore, if we can strengthen her life force, she can break through the eggshell and be born smoothly."

"In addition, you can use the original plan to find someone to form a partnership contract with your child. This way, your child will also gain a lot of vitality through the power of the contract, and even if it cannot hatch immediately, the hatching process will be much faster than it is now. However, be careful not to find someone with the same earth attribute as this child, even if it is yang earth, it will not work."

"Hey, why is that?"

Generally speaking, is it better to find a magician with the same attribute as your contract partner? Fortunately, Xu Xingyu quickly provided an answer.

"This is because if a mage of the same earth attribute becomes her contract partner, it will actually further strengthen the stability attribute in her body, making the eggshell even harder than it is now. Needless to say, this will further delay her hatching."

"Then what kind of mage would you recommend as her partner?"

"Personally, I think wood or water attribute mages are better, especially wood attribute mages, since wood attribute mages have vitality far exceeding that of other mages. If it is yin wood attribute, then it is even better."

"Of course, if you don't want to ask outsiders for help, I have another way."

"What method?" the Dragon Emperor asked, somewhat surprised.

"That is the blood connection."
