I am the son of the Dragon God in Douluo Continent.

Xu Xingyu looked at Jiang Haoyue, who had already completed the Martial Soul Possession, her face filled with surprise.

Indeed, in his memory, there was a family named Jiang whose inherited martial spirit was Tyrannosaurus Rex ten thousand years later. However, he never expected that this teammate, whom he had never paid attention to, was the ancestor of that family.

The so-called Tyrannosaurus Rex is a sub-dragon species, an ancient soul beast known as the king of sub-dragons, which has long been extinct in modern times.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex is a soul beast containing the pure bloodline of the Golden Dragon King. Therefore, although it is a sub-dragon species, its overall combat power is no less than that of a true dragon.

The only time Xu Xingyu had ever seen a Tyrannosaurus Rex was when she was in the Spirit Pact Tower.

At that time, Gu Yuena and Yinlaix were researching a special secret method to awaken the spirituality of the soul beasts within the soul bones and to revive them as soul spirits.

Among these experimental subjects was a Tyrannosaurus Rex spirit that was successfully resurrected.

However, Xu Xingyu was puzzled as to where Jiang Haoyue's Tyrannosaurus Rex martial soul came from. While a Tyrannosaurus Rex might be a sub-dragon, its bloodline of the Golden Dragon King made it inherently arrogant, only intermarrying with its own kind or true dragons to produce offspring. Gu Yuena had once told Xu Xingyu that all possessors of beast martial souls on the Douluo Continent possessed, to varying degrees, the bloodline of spirit beasts. Or rather, it was precisely because their ancestors included spirit beasts that they were able to awaken the corresponding beast martial souls.

Could it be that one of Jiang Haoyue's ancestors had a good relationship with a Tyrannosaurus Rex that had transformed into human form? But given the Tyrannosaurus Rex's arrogance, would it do something as humiliating as transforming into human form?

Faced with this, Xu Xingyu could only look at Jiang Haoyue with confusion and ask, "Jiang, is that a Tyrannosaurus Rex Martial Soul?"

This excited Jiang Haoyue, who hadn't had a chance to explain, and she hurriedly grabbed Xu Xingyu's shoulder and asked, "Class monitor, do you recognize my martial spirit? Can you tell me its origin?"

Jiang Haoyue's reaction was completely unexpected by Xu Xingyu.

After all, it's rare for someone like Jiang Haoyue, whose clothing clearly indicates that he comes from a prominent family, to be unaware of what his own martial soul is.

However, before that, Xu Xingyu said "Let go" first, and Jiang Haoyue realized that she seemed to have gotten a little too excited, so she quickly let go of Xu Xingyu.

What Jiang Haoyue didn't know was that the moment he released Xu Xingyu, the ice-attribute sword behind Xu Yanxue also dissipated into the sky under her control.

After Jiang Haoyue released her, Xu Xingyu asked, "Jiang, isn't this your own martial soul? Why are you asking me?"

Jiang Haoyue scratched his head sheepishly and said, "My martial soul is a mutated martial soul, and it's one that my family doesn't have any records of, so I don't know what my martial soul actually is."

"So, what did you refer to your martial spirit before?"

"Although my family couldn't detect the true nature of my martial soul, they could still see that it had the characteristics of an earth dragon, so they named it Tyrannosaurus."

From Jiang Haoyue's words, Xu Xingyu learned that Jiang Haoyue actually came from the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family, which was almost wiped out ten thousand years ago.

As for why his surname isn't the Jade surname of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family, it's simply because he's an outsider; only direct descendants have the surname Jade.

As its name suggests, the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family inherits the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex martial soul, a type of dragon martial soul containing the bloodline of a true dragon. Its bloodline level can reach the elder level among dragons.

Ten thousand years ago, the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex martial spirit was renowned as the strongest offensive beast martial spirit in the world.

However, it would be presumptuous to claim such a title in this day and age.

Leaving aside the Golden Holy Dragon and the Light Holy Dragon, which are originally mutated from the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Dark Holy Dragon, which is on par with the Light Holy Dragon, can easily leave the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex far behind.

Moreover, Xu Xingyu's Dragon God Martial Soul far surpasses that of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus.

Even under these circumstances, the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex Martial Soul is still among the top-tier advanced Martial Souls.

This also allowed Xu Xingyu to learn where Jiang Haoyue's Tyrannosaurus Rex bloodline came from.

After all, the name "Tyrannosaurus Rex" in Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex is not just for show. The reason why Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex is so powerful is that it is considered to have excellent talent even among dragons. This can be traced back to its birth.

The world's first Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex was actually a offspring born from the union of Thunderous Holy Dragon and Tyrannosaurus Rex, but its bloodline mutated at birth.

Originally, because one of its parents was a sub-dragon, its true dragon bloodline would be impure, and it would eventually belong to the sub-dragon species like the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

However, due to a mutation in its bloodline at birth, those impurities were expelled from its body, allowing the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus to inherit the bloodlines of both the Thunder Holy Dragon and the Tyrannosaurus.

The fusion of these two bloodlines creates what is known as the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus bloodline.

This means that the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus also possesses a certain amount of the Golden Dragon King's bloodline, but the concentration is not high, so the boost to its power is limited.

Therefore, if we compare Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus with the descendants of the dragons who inherited the bloodlines of the nine great dragon kings, he is still far inferior.

Therefore, from a certain perspective, Jiang Haoyue's transformation from the original Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex Martial Soul to the Tyrannosaurus Rex Martial Soul is purely a regression.

After giving Jiang Haoyue a detailed explanation of Tyrannosaurus Rex, Jiang Haoyue went from being excited to feeling somewhat disappointed.

Just as Xu Xingyu was about to ask what was wrong, Jiang Haoyue asked, "So my Martial Soul Tyrannosaurus Rex is really a sub-dragon species? In that case, is it still inferior to a true dragon Martial Soul like the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex?"

Although somewhat puzzled by Jiang Haoyue's attitude, Xu Xingyu still answered Jiang Haoyue's questions properly.

"Actually, that's not the case. Although both Tyrannosaurus Rex and Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex contain the bloodline of the Golden Dragon King from the Dragon God's avatar, the Golden Dragon King bloodline in Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex is much weaker than that in Tyrannosaurus Rex."

"This is why the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus's main abilities come from the power of the Thunder Holy Dragon, rather than the power of the more powerful Golden Dragon bloodline."

"Indeed, in the early stages, the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex was stronger than the Tyrannosaurus Rex due to its control over the lightning element. However, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which inherited the bloodline of the Golden Dragon King, focused on strength and vitality."

"In the early stages, these two aspects might be similar to those of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex, but in the later stages, your physical strength will far surpass that of a Soul Master wielding the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex. Under such circumstances, the outcome of a battle against such a opponent is still uncertain."

"As for the issue of bloodline suppression, you don't need to worry about it at all. Although Tyrannosaurus Rex is a sub-dragon species, it is extremely arrogant because it possesses the bloodline of the Golden Dragon King. Only dragons with the bloodlines of the Golden and Silver Dragon Kings or the Nine Great Dragon Kings can subdue it."

This explanation lifted Jiang Haoyue's spirits considerably, and she said with gratitude, "Wow, my martial spirit is so powerful! Thank you, class monitor! If you ever need any help in the future, please let me know! I'll definitely do my best to help!"

Xu Xingyu quickly waved her hand and said, "No need to thank me, it's nothing."

Faced with Xu Xingyu's refusal, Jiang Haoyue excitedly said, "No, no, the information you provided, class monitor, is extremely important. Before, I didn't understand my martial spirit, so I was just figuring things out on my own. Now, with your explanation, I clearly know my direction!"

"is that so?"

Xu Xingyu felt a little embarrassed at this moment, after all, he was only sharing information about Tyrannosaurus Rex out of good intentions.

The main goal was to help Jiang Haoyue better understand his own strength, so that he could play a greater role in the competition and be better equipped to execute tactics.

Seeing that the topic had veered off course, Xu Yanxue suddenly coughed and said, "Um, shouldn't we start planning our tactics for the match?"

"Oh, Yanxue is right! Let's get started on making a plan!"

"I'll listen to the class monitor!"
