Apocalypse: Become stronger by absorbing flames at the start; my name is the Flame Emperor.

Seeing that he had run out of attribute fruits, Lin Yu shook his clothes, walked back to the sofa, picked up his bag, and prepared to go upstairs to find a room for a good night's sleep.

As they passed the young couple, they thanked Lin Yu repeatedly.

"Even though it's the end of the world, you've managed to stay true to your original aspirations and uphold your principles. That's quite impressive."

Lin Yu stopped.

He said to the two of them, "However, this alone is not enough. Only by becoming strong can you protect your original aspirations from being trampled on."

After saying that, he went straight upstairs.

At this moment, the young woman carrying the child followed closely behind.

"Why are you following me?" Lin Yu turned his head, a half-smile on his face.

"I...I need to rest too, and so does my niece. She's been saying she's sleepy all day, and she's been sleeping for hours on end."

The young woman's eyes darted away.

Lin Yu glanced at the little girl in her arms, nodded, and said nothing.

He thought the two were mother and daughter, but it turned out they weren't.

Once on the second floor, they randomly picked a room and went in. The door wasn't even locked; the scarred man had sent people to search all the rooms beforehand.

After locking the door, Lin Yu put his things away and prepared to take a good shower.

The young woman watched Lin Yu enter room 203, and she quickly followed him into room 202 next door.

I feel safer staying with this man.

After taking a shower, Lin Yu lay on the round bed, eating while sending a message to his sister and Wang Ergou.

Both of them replied quickly.

"Brother, I'm fine here. I'm just staying in the dorm and not going anywhere. I'm just a little scared being alone."

"Haha, Brother Yu, guess what kind of special talent I've awakened!"

Lin Yu thought for a moment and decided to create a group chat, as it would be more convenient to chat together in the group.

"Little You, did you miss your brother?" The group chat started buzzing as soon as I created the group chat.

"You damn bastard, you haven't contacted me in so long! Wait till we meet, I'll beat you to a pulp!"

On the other end of the phone, Lin Xiaoyou waved her little fist.

"I'm afraid you can't beat me! My stats are off the charts right now; I easily killed eight zombies today!"

Wang Kang and Wang Ergou were smug.

"Ergou, take a look at your attributes," Lin Yu replied.

Soon, Er Gou posted his attributes in the group.

"Your attributes are off. I don't recall you picking up that many attribute fruits!"

Lin Yu remembered that among the rare treasures Er Gou had found, there weren't many attribute fruits.

"I rescued a few people today and got some mid-level yellow fruits from them. They have no idea what these are."

Er Gou quickly replied: "Boss, send me yours quickly."

Er Gou's attributes are quite good. Many of the first awakened individuals in his previous life did not have this attribute in the early stages.

After all, before advancing and upgrading, attributes can only be enhanced by fruits dropped by meteor showers, which involves too much randomness and relies purely on luck.

Unlike Lin Yu, who has memories of his past life and can plan ahead, his sister and Er Gou also benefit from it.

Lin Yu casually sent his attributes over.

"Holy crap! What kind of monster are you?" Wang Ergou's pupils widened.

What he didn't know was.

Lin Yu still has 46 green primary fruits and 3 yellow intermediate fruits.

These add up to a total of 61 attribute points.

"Little You, what about you? Post yours and let us see." Er Gou taunted Lin Xiao You.

Even if he can't compare to Lin Yu, he's still better than Lin Xiaoyou.

We can't let a girl take our second-in-command position in this three-person team.

As a result, when Lin Xiaoyou revealed her attributes, Wang Ergou was dumbfounded.

Wang Ergou: "???"

Wang Ergou: "Little You, what's wrong with your power level? Did you accidentally press an extra zero?"

Lin Xiaoyou: "No, that's how it is."

Wang Ergou: "???"

Wang Ergou: "[Strength 203 + 20.3]?"

Lin Xiaoyou: "That's right."

She even deliberately sent an innocent-looking emoji.

Wang Ergou: "I'm completely numb..."

Lin Xiaoyou: "You guys awakened your talents, and they're even S-rank! Why didn't I awaken mine? I'm so annoyed!"

Lin Yu: "Xiao You, don't worry. You have magic power on your attribute panel, which means you have talent and have already awakened it, but it's not fully awakened yet. It probably needs some kind of trigger."

Lin Xiaoyou: "Mmm."

Wang Ergou: "It's probably impossible to buy attribute fruits from others in the future. I just saw someone on the forum reveal the effects of the fruits."

Yes, the rain of evolution comes without warning, and many people will get caught in it, thus unlocking their attribute panels.

Once any of these people have eaten the fruit and experienced the change in their attributes, they will know its effects.

"It would be great if we could receive it, but it doesn't matter if we don't. Anyway, our attributes already surpass those of most people."

Lin Yu: "By the way, starting tomorrow or the day after, many creatures will begin to evolve, and many cell phone towers across the country may be destroyed, resulting in no cell phone signal."

"If we can't get in touch, we'll just proceed as planned. Don't worry."

Lin Yu gave one last instruction and ended the chat.

I took another look at the attribute panel.

[Talent: S-Rank Flame Master: Evolving...]

[Flame Unlock Forms: Blazing Flame, Dragon Flame (Unlocking in progress...)]

"I wonder if I can complete the evolution in three days?" Lin Yu murmured, feeling inexplicably hot.

Lin Yu smiled bitterly.

The hardest part of each evolution is this; there's always a lot of internal heat.

"By tomorrow, many zombies should have become stronger, and crystal cores should have formed in their minds. At that time, they should continue to evolve."

By killing zombies, extracting their crystal cores, and absorbing their power, you can gradually become stronger.

Most ordinary people today have not yet embarked on the path of evolution.

Those who have been drenched in the rain of evolution and have acquired attribute panels have already embarked on the path of evolution.

They are at order 0.

After absorbing the power of the crystal core, one can gradually break through the shackles and improve their attributes.

在0阶的时候，吸收10颗0阶晶核，就能升到1级，再吸收20颗到2级。

And so on.

For each level up, magic power increases by 500, all four main attributes increase by 5, and free attribute points increase by 5.

升到0阶10级，就需要吸收10颗1阶晶核，才能进阶到1阶。

Each upgrade brings about a revolutionary change.
