Apocalypse: Become stronger by absorbing flames at the start; my name is the Flame Emperor.

"Lin Xiaoyou, it's time to take away your talent."

Zhao Qiu became somewhat excited, his eyes gleaming with greed and excitement.

After such a long wait, this day has finally arrived. He has always longed to obtain Lin Xiaoyou's powerful talent.

Now, the time is finally ripe.

However, Lin Xiaoyou is very strong, and it won't be that easy to subdue her.

Lin Xiaoyou learned from her girlfriend Fang Siqi that she had awakened an A-level talent: her strength increased fivefold, an effect that was truly extraordinary.

He estimated that Lin Xiaoyou, at level ten, had a strength of around sixty points, and a five-fold increase would bring her to over three hundred.

That's outrageous!

This is ridiculously over-the-top, not like an A-level talent!

Zhao Qiu has now broken through to the first tier, his attributes have doubled, but his strength has only reached 221 points.

He would have to use an A-level thunderstorm to double his power again before he could surpass Lin Xiaoyou.

"But the stronger your talent, the more excited I become, because it will all belong to me."

Zhao Qiu muttered to himself.

However, he was not an arrogant person, so just to be on the safe side, he brought Fang Siqi along.

This woman also awakened her talent.

However, in order to cooperate with Zhao Qiu, she kept it hidden, and no one knew that she was a talent awakener.

Only Zhao Qiu knew that Fang Siqi had awakened a C-level talent: Weakening.

Once cast, it can forcibly weaken the power and magic of others for a certain period of time.

The reduction rate reached 20%.

Having her with me is a precaution, just in case, so I won't end up in a mess.

"I'm sure everyone knows about the rat infestation in Tianhai City, right?"

Zhao Qiu gathered everyone together.

"Brother Qiu, I heard that those zombie rats are as big as wolves and dogs, fast, with sharp fangs, and extremely ferocious. We can't fight them."

"Everyone, don't panic, listen to me first. Tianhai City is full of zombies, it's basically impossible for us to escape. We were able to clear the zombies little by little before, there's always a chance to get out."

"Things are different now. The mutated rat horde is coming, and it will probably devour all living things, including zombies and us."

Zhao Qiu's face was solemn, and his words made everyone present turn pale.

"The good news is that many powerful figures in the surrounding area are heading towards Tianhai City, so there might still be a glimmer of hope then."

"So what we need to do is gather enough food in advance, then hide in the library and wait for the crisis to pass, or find an opportunity to leave Tianhai City."

For teams that aren't particularly strong, Zhao Qiu's plan is undoubtedly the best option at the moment.

Stockpile food and wait for the rat infestation to pass.

Regardless of the final outcome, both the zombies and the rat horde will inevitably suffer heavy losses, making escape more advantageous.

"Listen to Brother Qiu, brothers! Today we'll expand our search area and gather more supplies."

Everyone on the team felt this was the best approach. So, without much planning, they spontaneously got to work.

When it comes to their own safety, they are more proactive than anyone else.

After sending everyone away, Zhao Qiu gave Fang Siqi a wink.

"Xiaoyou, wait a minute, I have something to tell you." Fang Siqi called out to Lin Xiaoyou.

As Fang Siqi spoke, she pulled her upstairs.

Zhao Qiu glanced around and followed.

"Siqi, what's wrong?"

When Lin Xiaoyou reached the fifth floor, she was still unaware of the approaching danger until Zhao Qiu appeared, at which point she realized something was wrong.

Zhao Qiu approached with a sinister smile on his face.

"Zhao Qiu, what do you want to do?"

"Lin Xiaoyou, I'm extremely envious of your talent! A five-fold increase in strength—that's terrifying! Can you give it to me?"

Zhao Qiu's eyes were filled with fervor.

He's about to acquire his second talent, at which point his strength will experience a qualitative leap.

A-level thunderstorms can only double his power.

If he were to acquire Lin Xiaoyou's talent, when he unleashes Thunderstorm, the power amplification would be based on the highest amplification, which would be a five-fold amplification.

It also possesses the characteristics of thunderstorms.

"Talent is something everyone is born with, how could it possibly be given to you?" Lin Xiaoyou became wary.

"Others may not be able to, but I can!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Xiaoyou seemed to realize something, and her expression turned cold: "What exactly is your talent?"

"I can steal other people's talents, so you'd better cooperate with me obediently, that way you'll suffer less, otherwise..."

A sinister look appeared on Zhao Qiu's face.
