Chapter 293 Ilze

Chapter 293 Ilze

The Carl Group headquarters has a gym.

There's a boxing ring in the gym, where Ian boxes and works out in his spare time.

Today he is sparring with his boxing coach. His long-term training, coupled with the power boost from his level three right eye, has allowed him to start dominating his boxing coach.

Just then, Van Nistel walked over, accompanied by a man in his thirties.

Upon reaching the boxing ring, the man stood still like a javelin.

Van Nistel said, "Boss, this is Ilse Croshaw."

Ian glanced back at Ilzer Krauss, whose resolute face, focused gaze, chiseled features, and bulging muscles suggested he was a skilled fighter.

Ian nodded: "Come up and fight me."

Kraushaw was clearly not one to waste words.

He deftly took off his jacket, revealing a vest, picked up a pair of boxing gloves, and jumped onto the boxing ring.

The two faced off like that when suddenly Ian threw a punch, which Klaus dodged deftly and landed a punch on Ian's abdomen.

The punch was extremely fast, causing Ian to stagger back several steps.

"Sorry, boss," Klaus said.

Ian grinned. "Not bad. Show your full strength; this is a no-holds-barred fight."

He shook his neck, refocused on his target, and suddenly threw a punch.

Klaus's eyes also lit up with excitement. He raised his elbow to block, then slammed it down on Ian.

Ian dodged to the side and then launched a counter-attack.

He quickly discovered his problem.

Despite the physical enhancement from his level three right eye, he didn't have much of a strength advantage against Krawshaw, and technically he was far inferior.

While he himself only learned boxing, Kraushaw mastered indiscriminate fighting and killing techniques. He had no limit to his kicks, and every move he made was concise and sharp.

The two exchanged blows, and in just a short while, Ian realized that unless he activated the Invisible Giant, he was no match for Krawshaw.

The level 3 right eye bonus isn't working well!

boom!

Klaus Shaw threw another punch, hitting Ian squarely in the bridge of his nose. Ian felt like his nose was about to break.

He let out a groan and backed away, covering his nose.

Van Nistel cried out in alarm, "Fuck, Ilzer, you can't treat the boss like this!"

Ian wiped the blood from his nose: "It's okay! You did a great job!"

Klaus's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, relaxed: "You're very strong, boss. I had to use all my strength to defeat you, so I couldn't stop in time."

Ian looked at him: "The truth?"

Klaus nodded: "I'm not good at flattery."

Ian muttered, "I can tell."

He jumped off the boxing ring, and a doctor nearby quickly stopped the bleeding from his nose.

Ian, with cotton stuffed in his nostrils, hummed, "Then let's continue with the truth. How do my methods sound in the military?"

Krawshaw replied, "Pure hand-to-hand combat skills are enough to get into the special forces, but other aspects are hard to say."

"Can you teach me?"

"Of course!" Krauss's eyes lit up with excitement.

This means that Ian has accepted him.

Ian stood up, pulled the cotton out of his nose, and said, "Let's go see your shooting skills."

The doctor next to me exclaimed, "Your nose is still bleeding!"

"Get lost, I'm not a woman!" Ian snapped angrily.

After testing Krawshaw once, Ian confirmed that he was a truly skilled fighter and nodded in satisfaction, saying, "Not bad, from now on you'll work for me."

Kraushaw thought for a moment and said, "Sir, I've heard someone wants to kill you? Perhaps you need more than one bodyguard; I have some comrades-in-arms."

Ian glanced at Van Nistel, who lowered his head guiltily: "I only told him."

Ian snorted before saying, "What I need isn't bodyguards, it's assassins. You may not believe me, Ilzer. Although you can beat me in the boxing ring, that's not my full strength. No matter how capable your comrades are, they can only work as security guards for the Carl Group at best. Only someone like you, who is willing to die for a goal, is qualified to be by my side."

Kraushaw understood: "If one day I had a friend like that..."

Ian grinned. "Then recommend it to me."

………………

Kripps arrived this morning.

He stood beside Ian, dressed in a suit and looking quite respectable, and said, "We've got some leads. Fax has been getting very close to Minotaur lately."

Minovart?

Ian bought his house from the chairman of Minota, who also provided him with a beautiful assistant named Clara Stone.

Hot and exciting, full of passion, and the best part is that you don't linger, which is very cool!

Ian likes girls like that.

Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams, having tasted the sweetness of love, went from being forced into it to actively seeking pleasure with him. During this time, they constantly contacted him, repeatedly saying they didn't want any benefits, only his affections.

How could Ian possibly refuse?

That's why, despite all the big news lately, my eyesight is still lagging behind... Women are such a drag!

Ian looked at Kripps with a puzzled expression: "And then?"

Kripps said, "Minova is heavily in debt and having a tough time lately. But even so, they still gave a big deal to a transportation company controlled by the Fucheng Boys."

Ian understood somewhat.

When Mino sold the houses, the business was already in a slump, so they even gave him shares in Xinghuo TV.

It now appears that the company is continuing its downward spiral.

Even under these circumstances, they can still engage in profit-sharing with the Fucheng Boys...

Ian said, "I have no grudge against Minova, they couldn't possibly be targeting me. Who's behind them?"

"Pioneer is their major shareholder."

Pioneer? Ian was taken aback.

In that instant, he had a sudden realization.

It's for JPMorgan Chase!

First Linuo Bank is still negotiating a merger with JPMorgan Chase, but at Ian's behest, First Linuo has put forward a condition: to get rid of some shareholders.

This includes Vanguard, BlackRock, and State Street.

They don't have that many shares in JPMorgan Chase yet, and with the major shareholders joining forces to squeeze them out, they can't hold on.

So it wasn't the Chechens who wanted to kill me, but the Jews?

For JPMorgan Chase?

Ian had a feeling that this matter was not so simple, because it really did not make sense... After the Tokyo Tower incident, the Jews should not be so reckless anymore.

After thinking for a moment, Ian said, "You did a great job. From now on, focus your energy on Blackfire Corporation and don't worry about anything else for now."

Kreps asked doubtfully, "You really don't intend to intervene?"

Ian coldly replied, "I don't need you to teach me how to do it!"

Kreps was startled and quickly bowed his head, "Yes, sir!"

The latest novel is first published here!

………………

"what!"

Clara Stone let out a high-pitched, excited shout from her hotel bed.

She hugged Ian and screamed, "Oh my God, Ian Carl!"

It's been two years, and I've really missed it.

Ian smiled and held her close: "People improve, and now I can really feed you."

Clariston chuckled.

She shook her head repeatedly: "I can't go on, let me rest for a while."

Ian then let her go.

He lay down next to Clara and chuckled, "Friendly reminder, once I'm officially done, it might take at least three hours to recover."

"Unimaginable sexual prowess." Clara casually lit a cigarette.

She sat against the headboard and said, "Alright, Ian Carl. Now that America's greatest hero has given me such a wonderful day, you can tell me what you need."

Ian laughed and said, "How did you know I had needs?"

Clara poked Ian lightly with her finger: "Neither of us are fools, Ian. We haven't seen each other for two years, and you suddenly called me. You can't be alright. Considering how well you've served me, I'll help you if I can."

Ian looked at her confident expression, thought for a moment, and said, "If you can't make it in Minota, you can tell me, and I can give you a good arrangement."

Clara raised an eyebrow slightly: "It sounds like what you want to know is something that's inappropriate to say."

"Why would Minova give the Fucheng Boys' transportation company such a large business deal? That deal has a profit margin of 150%, which is very unusual!"

Clara paused slightly.

She looked at Ian for a while and said, "I don't know about that, but I know about this deal. It's because Vanguard helped them connect with a big deal—a jewelry sale. Vanguard introduced them to a group of clients, allowing them to sell the jewelry at twice the price, with a profit of around 300 million, enough to make up for their cash shortage. Gerdard intends to use this deal to solve some of Minova's problems."

I knew it!

Ian thought for a moment and said, "I need Gerdard's address, and if possible, his specific office hours, daily routine, etc."

Clara looked at him in astonishment: "You want to eavesdrop on the chairman?"

Ian smiled slightly, thought for a moment, and said, "The airport bombing was targeted at me."

Clara was horrified.

Ian continued, "It was the Falcon Boys' men who did it. They pulled a trick to make me think it was an outsider who bribed them, but it was actually Fax who arranged it. As it stands, this money is probably a transfer of benefits from Minova to the Falcon Boys... I have no grudge against Gerdard, this should be a multi-party transaction, and I need to know who really wants to kill me."

As he spoke, he embraced Clara's beautiful body: "You didn't betray your company, so Minova won't suffer because of it."

Clara looked at Ian, biting her lip slightly: "That's it?"

Ian chuckled softly: "You want more?"

Clara let out a soft hum through her nose.

She nestled down, lay on top of Ian, and gently massaged him.

Ian felt he had underestimated himself and might be back to his old self in less than three hours.

Her tone was gentle: "I thought Gerdard had gained support through his own abilities, but I didn't expect it to be in this way. Minova is finished; this ship is destined to capsize... You just promised me a good position? Carl Media?"

Ian chuckled, "I remember you have a finance background? You're very capable; it's a waste to have you around. I can find a way to get you into Wall Street; with your qualifications, it's definitely no problem."

"Will I continue to be your corporate spy?"

"All I need are some addresses, the time the target will appear, and what big moves they might be up to... I don't need you to give me any top secrets, just clues. It won't cause you any major trouble, but it will save me a lot of energy."

Which one specifically?

"Pioneer, Baird, State Street... you can choose whichever you like, and I'll help you."

Clara chuckled.

She nodded: "I'd be the world's most effortless corporate spy, but you have to give me something in return!"

"To feed you?"

Clara shook her head slightly: "Not enough this time! Who told you not to come see me for two years? Every time you do, it's to pry into trade secrets. I'm angry, Ian. This time, add five million. My asking price isn't high. Also, if Minova goes bankrupt, I can tell you which assets are worth acquiring; that part also needs to be five million!"

Ian chuckled: "Looks like if I want a cheaper price, I'll have to fuck you a few more times!"

Clara laughed wildly: "You should have done this a long time ago, but don't expect it to be cheap this time!"

She leaned closer, her eyes gleaming with excited desire: "I'm hungry again!!!"
