Chapter 312 He Ran Away
Chapter 312 He Ran Away
The west corner of 16th Avenue in New York City.
Blackley bought a few hot dogs and strolled back to the nearby safe house.
He opened the door and saw his companion watching TV, looking bored.
He was holding a police baton, and a gun holster was hanging on the wall next to him.
Blakely walked over: "Is he alright?"
My companion grinned: "Very quiet."
Blackley put the hot dog down first, then went into the inner room, opened the small window in the door, and saw Saddam sitting on the cold iron bed.
There was nothing on the bed, not even blankets or sheets, because they were afraid he would commit suicide.
Saddam should have been imprisoned, but New York prisons are not suitable for holding people like him.
The United States does not have special prisons for political prisoners, let alone prisons specifically for the president... Putting Saddam in a regular prison would easily cause trouble.
There will be plenty of guys who want to taste Saddam's ass.
That would mean enormous chaos and international political scandals.
So the Americans ultimately chose to place him in a safe house, which was the safest option.
Things will be easier after the public trial.
At this moment, seeing that Saddam was fine, Blackley closed the small window.
He spoke into the walkie-talkie, "What's the situation outside?"
The voice of a Secret Service agent quickly came through the walkie-talkie:
"Position number one is safe."
"Position 2 is safe."
"Number three is in the bathroom. I'm not sure if this is a good time, but I don't think anyone will come to rescue this tyrant."
Blakely immediately replied, "I wish I could, so I could see you running out naked. You could shoot and poop at the same time, leaving obvious tracks."
Laughter came through the walkie-talkie.
Blakely had returned to his seat, picked up a hot dog, offered one to the other person, took a bite, and said with a puzzled look, "This hot dog doesn't taste quite right today."
His companion also took a bite and said with a puzzled look, "Something does seem off."
He took a sniff and then suddenly sneezed: "Fuck, it tastes like pepper."
Blakely laughed and said, "Maybe they want to try something new."
He said he took the hot dogs outside and shared them with his colleagues who were in the monitoring room, before returning to sit down.
Then I saw my companions drinking.
Blackley frowned. "No drinking during the mission, Mick."
Mick laughed, "Don't mind it, boss, it's nothing serious. You know my alcohol tolerance. Want some?"
Blakely shook his head: "No, I don't like gin."
As he spoke, he picked up a bottle of mineral water.
The two of them drank and ate hot dogs while watching TV.
The TV is playing Britney Spears' new music video; her voice is beautiful and the music is melodious.
"She's beautiful, isn't she?" Blakely said softly.
Mick, lounging on the sofa, chuckled as he watched TV: "If I could sleep with her, I'd give up ten years of my life."
Blackley shook his head slightly: "Don't even think about it. You're not Ian Carl, you're not qualified."
Mick sat bolt upright, his big eyes wide as he stared at Blakely: "You're saying Ian Carr slept with Britney?"
Blakely shrugged. "It's not surprising. A lot of women would sleep with a guy like him. Of course, I've only heard rumors...it's all hearsay, no proof."
Mick muttered, "Ah, you're right. But he won't have his chance for long... Saddam would be happy to see Ian Karl suffer."
"Don't even think about it." Blackley shook his head. "Even if it's confirmed that Ian Karl took Saddam's valuables, he won't be in much trouble. At most, he'll just have to hand over some money. For people like them, that's the lightest punishment."
"That's true." Mick sighed.
He picked up his gin and took another swig, then looked at Blakely with a puzzled expression: "Why do I feel a little dizzy?"
Blakely was very unhappy: "I told you not to drink during missions!"
Mick said in confusion, "This shouldn't be the case. I've only drunk half a bottle... I wouldn't get drunk even if I drank three bottles."
He looked at Blackley, feeling dizzy.
At the same time, Blackley rubbed his forehead, his vision spinning.
He was stunned: "How could that be? I'm feeling a little dizzy too? Damn it, I drank mineral water!"
The agent's alertness instantly made him realize something was wrong.
He immediately pulled out his gun and looked around, but no one came in.
Blackley ran into the inner room, opened the window, and saw Saddam still sitting there, dazed.
The person is alright.
But why is my dizziness getting worse...?
"No!"
Blackley let out a soft gasp.
He grabbed the walkie-talkie: "Rick, something's happened, call for backup immediately..."
Before he could finish speaking, everything went black and he collapsed.
Hearing the sound of someone falling, Saddam looked out in surprise.
The latest novel is first published here!
He stood up and went to the door. Through the window, he saw Blackley lying on the floor, and not far away, Agent Mick was lying on the sofa, both fast asleep.
How could that be?
Saddam was momentarily stunned.
In that instant, he instinctively realized something.
Someone has come to save me!
He was overjoyed, but saw no one appear.
Damn!
Help me!
Saddam Hussein could not understand it.
People have collapsed, but where are the people who tried to save them?
Looking left and right, Saddam saw no rescuers appear and was helpless.
Just then, he suddenly saw the key on Blackley's waist move and fall off by itself.
key!!!
Saddam was overjoyed.
There was nothing in the room, but thankfully Saddam still had his belt.
He quickly took off his belt, leaned out of the window, and tried to hook the key.
Honestly, this is very difficult!
However, a miracle occurred.
The belt fell onto the keys and somehow got stuck in the key ring.
Saddam carefully lifted the belt and picked up the key.
The key dangled in the air, making Saddam tremble with fear. He hoped it wouldn't fall.
God bless Saddam.
The key kept rising into the air without falling. Saddam caught it, reached out his arm, and opened the gate from the outside.
Click.
The door opened.
Saddam Hussein pushed open the door and stepped out, his heart filled with immense excitement.
He bent down and took the guns from the two agents, then walked out.
Upon leaving the room, he saw several agents fast asleep outside, and others collapsed in the garden.
Saddam pushed open the door to the room next door, where an agent was already asleep in the monitoring room.
He knew this was no coincidence; someone had saved him.
He simply couldn't understand why no one was there to save him.
There was no time to think about these things. Saddam quickly picked up the bullets from the agents, took some cash from their hands, and walked outside.
Suddenly realizing something, Saddam turned around and saw a hoodie hanging on a clothes rack not far away.
Saddam quickly took off his shirt and put it on, covering himself with the hoodie's hoodie. He then grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them on before hurriedly leaving and disappearing into the night.
