Super Mechanic: God of Superpowers!

Chapter 6 Novice with Superpowers

As soon as Ye Xiu stepped into the classified data warehouse, the metal door slammed shut, startling him so much that he thought he had been exposed.

"Phew, I scared myself!"

Ye Xiu took a deep breath, regained his composure, and looked around the room in front of him.

The classified data repository is a small room of about ten square meters, with white walls that have a cold, metallic feel, giving it a sci-fi vibe.

The walls were lined with specially made steel and glass bookshelves, which were incredibly thick. If an ordinary bullet hit them, it would probably only leave a small white dot.

The bookshelves were filled with professional knowledge about superpowered individuals, and the titles were clearly visible under the indoor fluorescent lights:

Tom's Basic Mechanical Theory, Tom's Basic Supernatural Abilities Theory, Tom's Basic Martial Arts Theory...

Upon seeing the book on professions related to supernatural abilities, Ye Xiu was overjoyed. He pretended to be looking for martial arts professions and took the opportunity to browse through the book on supernatural abilities. With the help of the game panel, he quickly learned it.

A surge of heat appeared out of nowhere, flowing through my entire body and clearing my mind.

The theories of superpowers that I couldn't understand before are now completely comprehensible, deeply imprinted in my mind, and transformed into real knowledge.

Even though Ye Xiu was mentally prepared, he was still taken aback when he actually witnessed this scene.

The personal panel has undergone new changes:

"Finally, I've unlocked the career knowledge tree." Ye Xiu secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but when he saw the server opening time, he couldn't help but feel a little surprised.

He seemed to have woken up fifteen hours earlier than Han Xiao. He had originally thought he would be able to get in touch with the players sooner, but it now seemed that things were not as he had imagined.

In other words, the server opening time displayed on his own panel is 15 hours longer than Han Xiao's, so the server opening time that the latter is seeing now is exactly the same as the time that he is seeing.

In this way, he and Han Xiao will receive the news of the player's arrival at the same time.

Thinking of this, Ye Xiu couldn't help but think of the true secrets of the Star Sea World, and the essence of his own existence...

"Phew!" Ye Xiu took a deep breath, stopped thinking about it, and began to pretend to browse through the professional knowledge of the martial arts department.

Time flies.

Ye Xiu rapidly gained experience points by constantly honing his supernatural abilities.

There are many ways to gain experience in the Starry Sea world. In addition to fighting monsters and completing quests, forging and using special abilities are important sources of experience for those with special abilities.

As his skills improved, Ye Xiu's hammering ability became faster and faster, completing a cycle in two and a half hours with a perfection rate of over 90%, thus gaining a considerable amount of experience points each time.

As time went by, the budding tissue gradually lost its wariness of Ye Xiu.

Perhaps in their eyes, Ye Xiu had already been successfully brainwashed and his past memories had been erased by the organization, so he would not have any thoughts of resistance.

Because of his status as the first awakened test subject, coupled with the leader's excessive attention, Ye Xiu had little choice but to conceal his abilities.

In addition, due to his personality, he did not save all his experience points like Han Xiao did, but chose to level up slowly.

Seeing his physical abilities continuously improve, the Sprout Organization was naturally very satisfied with Ye Xiu's performance.

The room they lived in was changed from a single room to a one-bedroom apartment.

The latest novel is first published here!

Living in a den of enemies, surrounded by no one to talk to, Ye Xiu focused his energy on his special ability. During most of his rest time, he would talk to his ability, which resembled a gene chain.

This self-talk filled Ye Xiu with pleasure and greatly alleviated his loneliness.

……

As usual, after training, Ye Xiu walked down the corridor, preparing to head to the classified database.

Just then, a man with a crew cut walked over.

The crew-cut man stood before Ye Xiu, his face filled with arrogance. He said, "Number One, I challenge you to a life-or-death battle. I want to prove to the organization that I am the strongest and most perfect test subject."

He was test subject number one, the third test subject to be successfully awakened after Ye Xiu and Han Xiao.

In order to prove that he was the strongest test subject, Number One kept causing trouble for Number One.

Ye Xiu was too lazy to deal with this idiot and wanted to avoid unnecessary trouble, so he said impatiently, "Don't bother me. If you want to gain recognition from the organization, go find Zero."

"Hmph, Zero is nothing but trash. It won't be long before he's lying on the testing table, gloriously sacrificing his body for the organization," Number One said, his tone full of disdain.

In his view, apart from himself and Unit 1, all the other test subjects were useless and had no right to contribute to the organization.

Ye Xiu didn't say anything. At the same time, to prevent this idiot from bothering him again, he pushed him slightly, knocking Number One back several steps, his back pressed tightly against the wall.

"I told you, don't bother me anymore. If it weren't for the fact that you're still somewhat useful to the organization, I would have definitely crippled you," Ye Xiu said coldly, his tone full of icy intent. After speaking, he strode towards the elevator.

"You!" Number One's eyes turned cold, but sensing Ye Xiu's immense power, he didn't choose to chase after him. Instead, he remained where he was, clenching his fists and silently vowing:

"Number One, one day, I will defeat you..."
